Shirts were given to the students at the University and somehow that means a NWO and trying to get everyone to join up in one world government and that Obama is trying to make the event a political rally.
People are insane.

So today's news was that she has opened both eyes, moved both arms, and moved both legs when doctors had her sitting up on the bed. They also said they might try to have her sit in a chair tomorrow.
The next big 'milestone' is removing the breathing tube, which could be a few days off.

They are attacking Obama for using a teleprompter last night.
He DID NOT use a teleprompter last night. He read from paper on the lectern in front of him.

No one is talking about banning guns. That would be a clear violation of the second ammendment. What is being talked about is requiring completion of a gun training course and such, which is fine by me, because in my state accidental shootings occur all the time.

Why does it (seemingly) bother you?

I'm just posting news. When people are wrong, it offends me. You're both posting and rebutting news items here, where whoever made the original comment can't see it. That's not really 'just posting news'. And as a general statement, may I suggest doing what I do and stay away from places you get offending news? Not saying to only follow news that shares your beliefs, but to not get your news from the end of the spectrum, which obviously doesn't represent any majority of people. Just in the interest of disclosure: If anything, I watch MSNBC and Fox during the day, but turn off both in the late-afternoon/early-evening hours because they both go insane. I get to see the news often devoid of opinion; and that works out for me. I get updated on the news without all the "He said, she said" bullcrapthey do the rest of the day.

He bought the bullets at Wal-Mart. Is that really a big deal? I don't see why Wal-Mart is selling the kind of ammo he used.

It was at one time, I'm not sure if it still is or not. Certainly Walmart will be in huge trouble if they sold illegal bullets. Otherwise I guess I don't see why it's a problem...

Clearly they and the gun seller should have been able to see that the man was insane. He was kicked out of school for being mentally unstable. Surely someone should have taken note. I don't think you need a background check to buy bullets, but maybe that should change. You can't use a gun unless you have the bullets.

I don't think you need a background check to buy bullets, but maybe that should change. You can't use a gun unless you have the bullets. So if I want to buy a gun I have to go through a background check. Fine. Make sure I'm not a convicted felon and can legally own a gun. No real issues with that. Now I have my gun and the box of ammo I bought with it. I go out to the range and I shoot my box of ammo. I go down to the store to buy more ammo. Oh wait. There's a background check for that. And then there's a background check the next time I buy ammo. That is a ridiculous idea even for you.

If you know you are going to go to the range and shoot two boxes, then buy two boxes.
You register your gun, you should register your bullets.

Clearly they and the gun seller should have been able to see that the man was insane. He was kicked out of school for being mentally unstable. Surely someone should have taken note. Clearly should have been able to see that he's crazy? People saw him as eccentric, but there was no indication that he was going to go and do what he did. I agree completely that someone should've taken note, but the gun seller is not that person. They did what they legally have to do in regards to background checks and obviously he checked out. At that point you (the general 'you', not specific) have to hold back on a sale if someone is 'weird'; and how can that really be defined? Placing blame on the people who sold him the gun is stupid.

I'm not saying the gun seller should have looked at him and decided he was crazy.
The school kicked him out for being unstable. Shouldn't that register somewhere?
