Since you like ya movies and going to cimena's ect, Sky are having free screenings of the first episode in certain cinema's on jan 18th, dunno if you have an online sky account but if you do might wanna look into it if you haven't already. I got the E-Mail about that . when I tryed, there were none left for the one in Worthing, my nearest one . Aww that sucks Would have been good if they did 2 nights, would have tried got tickets myself if it was on the wednesday.

TNA isn't great and the only reason it gets good ratings in the UK is because it's the only original content wrestling show broadcast on free TV.I personally can't believe anyone actually considers themselves a fan of TNA. It's definetly more of a "something to do until WWE is on" promotion. My mate is a huge fan and I never understand why. So because we watch big wrestling shows together, I'm always forced to watch TNA crap and to be honest, I feel sorry for everyone who had to pay some kind of fee to watch the latest TNA PPV. It was absolutly dreadful. WWE TLC destroyed it in terms of enjoyment. It's inferior in every single way. You can't even tell me with a straight face that it has the better wrestling on it. You gotta pay monthly to sky, to have gotten bravo, free tv would be on freeview where you just pay for the box and thats it

Yeah - it always make me laugh when they say they're "beating the WWE ratings-wise in the UK"... it's a ridiculous comparison, lol. WWE is on a premium subscription channel - not to mention Raw and the PPVs are on in the middle of the night (2am) UK time. Put Raw on a basic (ie. non-premium) satellite channel at 9pm - and then see if you still beat them.

Dixie Carter said that she hopes to update fans on a time frame that TNA will be back on TV in the UK and Ireland sometime later this week.
Since she will be on the TNA European tour which kicks off next Friday, she should have the chance to meet with TV executives if need be. The announcement will likely come at a TNA-UK live event.

You've always been a biased WWE fan though, so that isn't gospel. Heaven forbid people enjoy something else. Can't f'n wait until the TNA tour, and I call myself a huge fan, so there.

Can't f'n wait until the TNA tour, and I call myself a huge fan, so there. Yeah... I saw them live on the last tour and it was great. Dixie came out at half time to meet/talk to the fans too which was a nice touch. I really hope they can get a new TV deal sorted soon... it couldn't have come at a worse time coinciding with the UK tour(!).

Total Nonstop Action (TNA) Wrestling has announced a new television deal with Sky channel Challenge TV to broadcast TNA programming on Freeview from February.
Challenge TV – which is also available on the Sky and Virgin Media platforms – will screen flagship show “TNA iMPACT”, “TNA Xplosion” and all the monthly TNA pay-per-view events including “Lockdown” and “Bound For Glory”.
Wrestling fans can watch stars including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle and TNA World Champion Mr. Anderson every week on Challenge, which can be found on Freeview Channel 46 from February 1, Sky Channel 125 and Virgin Media Channel 139.
“TNA iMPACT” will air on the Tuesday night following US transmission at 10pm, with PPV events showing on the Wednesday after US broadcast. Challenge TV will also show catch-up episodes of “TNA iMPACT!” for those who missed them during TNA’s brief period off air. Full dates and details will be announced shortly.
TNA President Dixie Carter said: “We are delighted to have signed this deal giving all our incredible fans in the UK exactly what they’ve been asking for – professional wrestling back on free television.”
Barbara Gibbon, Challenge’s Head of Channel, added: “We’re thrilled to have agreed a deal to make Challenge the new home of TNA Wrestling in the UK where it has a huge fan base.”
