i'd rather a pic of hom's in tumor on his forehead. wow. I was impressed by his performance in rd5 after getting raped for 20min ...this whole card was great... I was sad to see Couture go out with a knockout loss, but I'm glad he made it to one of my favorite fighter's highlight reel. Steven Seagal's magic kick has a UFC record of 2-0 now. I was impressed by Vlad. The first fight I saw with him was the Jones fight, and I was surprised to see that kind of power in his hands last night. Henderson looked great in his first UFC fight. He put on a great show, but I didn't agree with 30-27. Both of my friends and I thought he lost rd1. Oh well, I'm happy nonetheless. However, Diaz and Rory put on a lackluster performance imo. Maybe it was because I overhyped it in my head, but I wasn't impressed with either man's performance. My least favorite main card fight was, sadly, GSP vs. Ben Affleck (..err...Jake Shields- but seriously, does anyone else see a resemblance?). I think this fight should've been the co-main event to Aldo and Hominik. After watching Jose and Mark, Georges and Jake looked like amateur fighters. The fight did have its share of exciting moments though, and I was happy about that. All in all, great event. I was very pleased with almost every fight.

There's no such thing as a "lucky" shot, Vitor. Sorry bud. & if there was, I believe that title should be given to Tim Sylvia after how he.became UFC heavyweight champion

That place was insane. I was in the 500 level but had a great view of everything. I even made that Ryan Bader blog that UFC posted, lol.

I always loved Aldo since I first saw him but he may be my new favorite fighter.

GSP did pretty well considering he could only see out of one eye. I feel bad for Shields..he must be dying inside right now.
Lyoto is awesome..glad to see him win again..just wish it wasn't against Couture, in that fashion.
Every dog has has his day.

I am pretty much over GSP. I think he is an amazing athlete but he has looked less and less impressive each fight since Serra KO'd him. I think it is amazing how he has cleaned out his division..but I was extremely disappointed in his performance. I'm not impressed by your performance. =D

Diaz wants it, regardless of his interest in boxing

I think that is the ONE fight that will make him hold off on boxing for the time being...

They are both in similar positions. Both are champions and both don't really have any interesting fights left in their divisions.
If this does come together, this will decide the #1 welterweight in the world and the undisputed welterweight champion. I hope it happens.

Just got back into town today.
Whole experience was unreal. Fan expo was crazy, tons of people there. I was only able to get pictures with Fitch, Coleman, Carwin and Torres all super nice people though. Hats off to Coleman who went out of his way to have a conversation with each fan.
PPV itself was surreal. We had awesome seats, so it just added to the experience. Crowd was obviously let down by the main event. Aldo and Hominick's fight was by far the most entertaining, and major props to Rory for putting on an unbelieveable performance. Only bad part of the UFC experience....
...was the $10 beer, yikes did my wallet ever take a beating.

How about Garza's flying triangle? Found a gif of it too...a thing of beauty, really... Diaz wants it, regardless of his interest in boxing Oh, I know, and I know that Dana will talk to Diaz about the boxing situation, regardless, I'm eager to see GSP vs Diaz, as I imagine a lot of others on here are.
