I think LeighD thinks that Regals robe is cloth and that getting a plastic robe on Goldust instead of cloth one is a shame. The bigger shame is that Regals robe IS plastic too, as discussed in a previous thread it's just the Edge/Goldust robe re-tooled. All look great! Regal's robe would've sucked if it had been cloth. Just like every other wrestling figure cloth robe kinda sucks. It would've looked hilariously oversized and cheap, and wouldn't have had anywhere near the level of detail or quality. I don't get the fascination for cloth accessories, even if a wrestling figure company could ever figure out a way to get them done right (which I doubt is possible). It's not like the figures are made of skin and bone.

Hi, sorry if this has already been discussed, but why is regal not on pre-order on RSC? Was there a specific reason why hes not up for pre-order? Thanks
Oh yeah, the set looks great. Tempted to pre-order the whole set from RSC, but only thing holding me back is why Regal is not included?

Regal is an inevitable shelf-warmer, so he's not going to be in every case that Mattel ships out of this set. The early cases Ringside are getting aren't going to have him in.

Edge's scan is awful but like everyone has said, a simple head swap will be fine cause the attire is very nice, I'm also still very anxious to find out whether or not the belts have been canceled from this series cause that would really suck

Because you can't pose a figure in a stiff jacket/robe. simple as that, Not sure why that's hard to understand. Because why would anyone want to pose a figure in a robe that looks like it came from a 9" bootleg toy anyway? Posing figures in cloth coats, they always look terrible because of massive sleeves with huge wrinkles everywhere and the general poorness of the build. Mattel are just as bad at this as Jakks (judging by DM Macho Man, and most Entrance Greats), it's inevitable with cloth jackets on toys this size. And even leaving aside the sizing issue, there's no way that they could do any kind of faithful representation of all the detail on Regal's (or Goldust's) robe if they were using fabric materials. What are your three favourite wrestling figures in cloth robes/coats?

But as far as wrestling figures go i love all the cloth robes jakks made for Flair. the mattel legend Paul Orndorf figure looks great. Just got the mattel George steele with cloth shirt, again love it. Not sure are those my top figures but some just off the top of my head. And even leaving aside the sizing issue, there's no way that they could do any kind of faithful representation of all the detail on Regal's (or Goldust's) robe if they were using fabric materials.

Why does everyone hate Edge's head? I think it looks pretty good.

What's amazing about the protos is that they are posed the same as the protos in the WWE magazine that was posted...just with the background taken out and you get full view(s) of the figs.

Theres been many times a Mattel head looked better in person so the Edge head doesn't concern me.
Hopefully I have some income soon so I can start buying again.

Edge will probably look better without the shades, the scan looked pretty good at RSF
