I don't even know why I'm bringing this up again...but...I might as well say...
I'd rather tell you guys my fears than anybody else. When my older brother was my age, he was diagnosed with leukemia and died a little over 3 years later. Now as I look back at his life and look at mine, it's kinda eerie and I feel very cautious these days for some reason. Although some of us think that life after death is nonexistent, do any of you guys ever think that maybe a deceased loved one is watching you? People always say [insert name here] is watching over you and very proud, yet sometimes the person saying that isn't even religious. I'm just really confused these days...
Anybody think that there is life after death?

I believe in both Life After Death and Reincarnation. I think what you do in your current life has an effect on which one happens to you after you die.

I believe there is. There's got to be something remaining after you pass on. Your spirit may leave your body, but I believe it remains in the afterlife. I believe in ghosts and how else do you explain all the sightings and pictures of ghosts?? There's got to be life after death for sure.

I believe in life after death, I feel there has to be more how else could you explain ghosts and whatnot.

I think a consciousness about death/ mortality is necessary for humans to live their lives as they want. I was reading a book about happiness, and it made a point about how a fear of ageing and eventual death could be used positively. The point the author was making was that many people reserve themselves (whether it's choosing to do an activity, asking someone out etc.). He said that the concept of death is a cease of existence, and that basically there's plenty of time to be 'dead'. But with that in mind, you're more inclined to live in the moment and try to excel in all you do. It's something that I always keep in mind.
As for whether life exists after death? All I know, is that I don't know. I'm quick to dismiss any sort of religion, however I'm open to earthly energies and what we'd call a 'soul'. Whether that exists or is transported elsewhere after mortality is something I don't know, however.

I believe a few things.
1) Nothing will happen, you go in a hole.
2) You go to heaven/Hell.
3) This is a theory my friend came up with. In the bible it says the dead will rise and all will have their judgement day. So he believes everybody will rise from the dead and be judged.
4) Reincarnation.

I think if you believe in an after life, you'll get one, and if you don't, you won't. Same with if you believe in God, and obey the rules, you'll go to Heaven, and if you don't, you'll go to Hell. I don't see why we wouldn't have an after life? But.. Then again it just opens up many doors and many arguments come from these types of conversations.

I believe that if you get cremated, there is a chance. If you believe in the whole "soul/ghost" thing, it kinda makes more sense that way. Besides that, I'd rather not think about it.
