I love how a lot of you are experts on Mattel's sales. Have you seen documents stating Legend sales are down and not meeting their expectations, NO! What grounds or knowledge of this subject do you have, some Legends not selling in your area? That means you are an expert huh? I come to these boards everyday and about 6% of the people on here know what they are talking about. Just because these boards gives you a forum to express your opinions doesn't make you knowledgeable of legends figure sales. More than have of you were not born when these Legends were wrestling and wearing certain attires but you gotta put your two cents in. Gotta make sure you get 1,999,999,999 posts in so you can have 18 stars under your little name so you will think your opinion matters. Well it doesn't! Epically to collectors of wrestling figures who were around when wrestling toys were first made. I was at Wrestlemania 3 in 1987 where were you? Oh yeah born. Have you seen documentation stating that only 6% of the members know what they are talking about or did you pull that out of your ass? I have a hard time believing you can find 6 people out of a 100 that don't think you're ridiculous. Is this your heel gimmick? Maybe a Eugene gimmick? I do think it's hilarious that you think you are "striking a nerve" with people when in reality I am just laughing at your looney rants. But hey, you were at WM3 so what do I know...

If some of you have a problem with my post that's fine because i have a problem with some of the comments so imo we are even. Mattel has never said "WWE Legends Line in Danger" but a lot of the posts on here act like they did. If you don't like certain figures don't but them. There are a lot of Elite and Basic shelf warmers as well so should I say Basic and Elites should be whatever.com exclusives? No. The Road Warriors haven't had a proper release since AWA Remco and were never completed by Jakks and how many LOD sets have been released? Snuka is the worst figure in the line, so don't buy it. Mattel would of got the message if no one bought it. You don't no how many times I've read "I don't like the figure but I bought it anyway" or "I don't collect Legends but here's my 2 cents". Not a week goes by that a new forum isn't started about Legends suck because"they haven't made the figures I want" or "more Attitude era figures" (the most produced figures of any era). Most of these comments are made by people who weren't born when some of these guys were wrestling. Wrestling started in the beginning of19th century. Legend is a pretty broad term and can cover a lot of ground. I would be stoked if we got guys like Gorgeous George or Buddy Rogers, dudes who wrestled before I was born. The line just started and is doing fine. We are on series 4 and have a long way to go. My beef is for people who post just to post and are out of there element. My 6% number was pulled out of my ass. If it offends you then you must be apart of the other 94%. Haha

I like the fact that all the attires are different. To my knowledge, none of the figures made yet in the Legends Line were made in the CS line, except for the Volkoff/Shiek pack. It creates for more variety, and that's what I like.

Haha You diss people who weren't born when certain guys were around, and you say they don't know what they're talking about because of this, yet you ask for guys that wrestled before you were born? That really just contradicts everything you said. So because I was born in the 90s, I don't know what I'm talking about when I say Hulk Hogan beat The Iron Shiek for his first WWF Title? And that the belt was known as the "Big Green Belt"? Or that Ric Flair feuded with the likes of Buddy Rogers, Harley Race, Roddy Piper, Barry Windham, Sting, Hulk Hogan, etc.? I think I know what I'm talking aboutsome of the time but obviously not all the time. But since I love wrestling so much that I wanna spend the time others use watching Glee, American Idol, and Pretty Little Liars (which there's nothing wrong with that to those of you who do ) to instead watch "old-school" wrestling. Not just the Attitude Era, but matches like Hogan vs Muta in Japan, Flair vs Race inside the cage for the NWA Title in NC, and Shawn vs Razor in the Ladder Match for the IC Title. This all makes me a true fan and makes me someone who knows a little bit about what I say, whether I know everything about it, was born in the era, or not.

If you don't like certain figures don't but them. I have never but a figure I didn't like. I also have no problems with them making figures from any era, however I also want Mattel to make figures of the biggest stars of the eras which presents a problem considering Hogan and Flair are off limits, Sting is a longshot right now. Someday I hope to have at least one post Hasbro line of wrestling figures that has all the 1980's stars I love, however since I was born in the 80's and fear that I might never get them all in Mattel form I guess I have no right to voice my opinion.

My diss about people who weren't born was aimed to the guys who said guys The Road Warriors, Von Erichs, Steamboat, etc..should not be made, instead we should get more popular stars. Hence the comment about myself wanting guys that were around before I was born. Not everyone. Those wrestlers were big stars and deserve figures in my book. I love to hear younger guys into classic wrestling! The WWE has a pretty nice collection of classic dvds that people can learn from. I just wish more people would do there homework. Legend figures are a hot button issue for collectors.

has it crossed anyone's mind that mattel will possibly release the same legend with different attire down the road? i don't know how long the wwe/legends contracts are for but i'm sure it's for a long time. you guys also have to remember that they have defining moments and the legends two packs to work on so they can't "shoot their load" all at once.
