there are three acts just so ya know. it's a good arc that predominantly features the rise of black mask.

TBH I was not a huge fan of War Games. I think there was WAY too much fighting rather than character development, other than Leslie Thompkins, Spoiler and Black Mask. It wasn't terrible though.

It wasn't terrible though. i disagree. there was a ton of character development throughout that arc and it also set the backdrop for Batman right up until Infinite Crisis. everything with Tim developed him further, plus all the stuff with his dad, and his classmates. then there was Batman's relationship with the GCPD being completely altered. it also delves further into the mind of Batman as we get to see another one of his contingency plans, which develops his character further. and they didnt develop Leslie Thompkins character further at all. they screwed with her and made changes that werent rectified until so and so (dont want to spoil it for the tc who hasnt finished the arc and might not know what happened) returned. there was plenty of character development. and to answer the initial question, i loved it and thought it was an excellent story.
