As the official theme for Preview, "Better Man" by Hellyeah plays, we are met by our announcers, Steve Prazak and Magnum TA. They apologize, but apparently the new commissioner, who was supposed to be announced at the beginning of the show, right now, is on their way to the arena, due to some last minute meetings in Los Angeles. They will be on hand as soon as humanly possible. Instead, we're going to start with a match.
"Self vs. Self" by Pendulum plays, and The Maple Leaf Muscle, Petey Williams, makes his way to the ring. He's in a good mood, slapping hands as he struts, and gettig an audible scream from the young women from his physique. "Uprising" by Muse hits, and out walks his opponent for the evening, Kenny Doane.
Kenny Doane vs. Petey WilliamsThis was a match that never really got off to the right bat. Williams was constantly trying to outfly Doane, but Doane was far more adept at the ground game. Williams appeared to have the match in hand, however, when he went for the Canadian Destroyer, he was too close to the ropes, and Doane was able to grab the top rope, causing Williams to fly over him, and take the brunt of the punishment caused by his own momentum. Kenny then climbed the top rope, and hit the Sky High Leg Drop for the win.
Winner: Kenny Doane(62%)
Now, the commissioner has just arrived in the building... so let's bring them out! "You Make the Rain Fall" by Kevin Rudolf plays... and it's... oh my god, the UWF Commissioner is TRISH STRATUS! She waves as she makes her way down to the ring. She tells the UWF fans that it feels great to be back in a ring, to a big pop. She apologizes for her lateness, on the first show, but right now, she has an announcement that will make up for it. She motions to the entrance, and out walks the Chairman, Bill Watts, to a big pop! He enters the ring, and says that he doesn't plan to make this a regular thing, but this was such a big announcement he and Trish had to make it together.
The reason they were late tonight is they were in Los Angeles, finalizing a deal with the Versus cable network! Starting in two weeks, Wednesday, February 2nd, every week, be sure to tune in for two hours of Wednesday Night Adrenaline! And the first show will be airing live from right here, in the Sawyer Center! Stratus adds that you won't want to miss this! They then tell the crowd that they have a great night of wrestling ahead of them!

"Sexy Robotica" by Don Omar hits up as the mysterious Sexy Star makes her way to the ring. "Tell 'Em" by Sleigh Bells plays and her opponent, Melissa heads out.
Melissa vs. Sexy StarThis, just on a mat level, might have been the best womens match in years on pay per view. The crowd, however, with the two largely being unknowns, wasn't hugely involved. Melissa, being the bigger of the two, dominated, however, when she took a chance and went off the top rope with a cross body block, Sexy Star countered, rolling her over, and grabbing a big handful of tights to score the three count!
Winner: Sexy Star(62%)
Star quickly left the ringside area, without even really celebrating, largely due to the look on Melissa's face!
"Freebird" by Lynard Skynard was a unique sound to the Bethany crowd, and they initially responded with a pop, until it was revealed that it was Big Bad Drew and Terry Ray Gordy, with Gordy definitely taking a page out of his father's playbook. "Jungle Boogie" by Kool and the Gang hit, and out came their opponents, Scorpio and Sean Morley!
Big Bad Drew and Terry Ray Gordy vs. Scorpio and Sean MorleyIt definitely feels like Gordy and Drew's experience seemed to be the X factor here. Scorpio and Morley could never get on the same page. They'd find themselves out of position for double teams, they found that Drew and Gordy were able to cut the ring off.. in fact, with the new fire, Gordy looked a lot like his old man and his tag team work, and they were able to put away Scorpio with a big powerslam by Drew!
Winners: Big Bad Drew and Terry Ray Gordy(73%)
After the match, Scorpio got right in Morley's face, and they definitely appeared to come close to blows before Morley cooled down and just walked away.
"Gekkouka" by Janne Da Arc plays, and here comes Yang! He definitely seems excited about this! "South Texas Deathride" by the Union Underground hits, and out to the ring walks his opponent, Paul London!
Paul London vs. YangThis was another very good match, as most of the matches have been all night. The two obviously knew each other very well from previous encounters, even if they were years ago, and it looked like it would be tough for either man to gain a significant advantage. A missed Yang Time, though, and it was London Calling time for the win!
Winner: Paul London(77%)
A video vignette plays, with the overlaying text announcing COMING SOON TO UWF WEDNESDAY NIGHT ADRENALINE. A man is shown, in the shadows, working out, and getting ready for his in-ring action. He's then shown, from the feet down, tying up his boots, and as the camera pans up... it's Matt Hardy!

"Lap Dance" by N*E*R*D plays, and out comes Austin Aries. He grabs a microphone, and officially offers a challenge to any light heavyweight in the world who has the "stones" to step into the ring with him. Suddenly, running down to the ring comes a masked man in plain tights! He slides under the bottom rope, and the match is on!
Open Challenge: Austin Aries vs. In something that might sound like a broken record, this match was insanely good. They completely won over the Bethany crowd, who were completely behind the mysterious masked man... however, as he used a very martial arts heavy move set, there seemed to be plenty of speculation as to who he was. After a stiff DDT by Aries, he decided now was the time to find out whoever the hell this was... he is able to pull the mask off... and Aries decides to show the mask to the crowd... and LOW KI is up and standing right behind him! It was Low Ki! Ki turns him around and hits the Ki Krusher for the win!
Winner: Low Ki(84%)
As Ki celebrates, Aries jumps him from behind! He's not going to let this go lightly! He picks him up, and hits a big brainbuster! He's now climbing the top rope... 450 Splash! Finally, referees are in the ring, and separating them. Ki might have won the battle, but he doesn't look like a winner right now!
"World Tour" by Wale plays and it's time for some Sugar, it's Shane Helms! He's polite to the fans but doesn't appear to be really in a good mood. "Grito Mundial" by Daddy Yankee hits and his opponent, Carlos Colon Jr. heads out to the ring. He openly disrespects Helms as he enters the ring.
Carlos Colon Jr. vs. Shane HelmsAlthough these two don't have entirely compatible styles, it really seemed to work here. The match wasn't as good as the previous one, but that might be the match of the year... this was still one of the better PPV matches you'll see in a long time. After a big springboard dropkick, Colon appeared to have it all in order, but Helms was able to block the Backstabber by getting tied up in the ropes. He then hit the Nightmare on Helms Street for the win!
Winner: Shane Helms(83%)
"POWER" by Kanye West hits and Booker T makes his way out to the ring, accompanied by the lovely Sharmell. He gets in the ring, has a microphone, and says that his journey to a third company's World Heavyweight Title begins tonight! "Off That" by Jay-Z interrupts him, and it's Shelton Benjamin!
Booker T vs. Shelton BenjaminThis match was definitely a slow down compared to the earlier matches. Booker T was happy to work the match at a methodical pace and keep Benjamin slowed down. Of course, with Benjamin's amateur background, that might not have been the best idea. Booker controlled the early section, until he went for a big clothesline, and Shelton was able to counter it into a crucifix and get a two count! This flustered Booker, and he rushed, which lead right into Shelton's wheelhouse! As Benjamin looked to have the match in hand, Sharmell decided to distract the referee... however, with a counter from Shelton on an Irish Whip, Booker ended up crashing into his wife... and he turned around right into an Exploder for the win!
Winner: Shelton Benjamin(80%)
As Benjamin celebrates, the lights in the arena go out! When they come back on... Raven is standing behind Shelton! He spins him around into an Evenflow! Raven then picks up Booker T and hits an Evenflow on him! Just what in the hell is Raven doing in the UWF?
