In addition, Tom Hardy has been set to play Bane. Nolan said, “I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies.”
Nolan will direct the film from a screenplay he wrote with Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer. Nolan will also produce the film with his longtime producing partner, Emma Thomas, and Charles Roven.

Catwoman, okay. But Bane in this universe? We'll have to wait and see how that's going to happen.

Their version of Bane should just be Tom Hardy as he appeared in Bronson.

Physically, I can see it. She's got the body for it. Character wise though...I guess we'll have to wait and see. No one saw Ledger as Joker after all.

I understand that, but I'm checking WB's own PR website, and there's nothing.

The main female roles in Nolan's Batman films keep getting more and more homely. Maggie Gyllenhall and her gremlin-like features kept distracting me during Dark Knight, and now we get the woman with no body in a form-fitting catsuit.
Pumped for Tom Hardy, though.

I think she has the body, personally. Great choice.

Tom Hardy is clearly the bigger news here.
I'm interested as hell to see how he's going to pull off Catwoman.

It'll be nice to most likely see Bane as the character he actually is, a brilliant mind with awe inspiring strength. And without Venom.

I don't buy this, tbh. I only know Anne Hathaway because she's a name that keeps popping up in trailers for poopty comedy movies. To be fair, I haven't seen Brokeback Mountain which seems to be her only known serious film on IMDB, but I don't get why would they cast her over the plethora of GREAT female actresses on the rumoured list (including Rachel Weisz and Natalie Portman)? It's feasible but unrealistic...
... Until Tom Hardy as Bane pops up? If Bane was in a Nolan movie, he wouldn't be the main villain, unless they completely change his character (They did this with Joker, and I guess it worked). Still, I'm sceptical of this news. The only thing I can think of is that the studio have pushed for two big characters, in which case, Catwoman and Bane over Penguin or Riddler? Just doesn't sound true to me.

Anne, definitely can play Catwoman. Though the press release seems to indicate she isn't Catwoman yet. She's the character before she became Catwoman.
