Well, that was a damn solid event IMO. Lots of fun fights. The UFC seems to be off to an excellent 2011.

I don't know why, but I couldn't get in to this event at all. They were good fights too!
Melvin Guillard seriously needs to hit the top, top tier of the division. I need to sit down and work out what the Lightweight division needs to do in my opinion. Too many guys clustered up at the top, too many fights to make. I'd hate to be Joe Silva right now.
Mark Hominick really is one of the best technical strikers in the Featherweight division. I think he landed NINE punches all fight, all of them were perfectly timed and hit Roop's chin hard. I'm not jumping on a hype train saying he'll beat Aldo because he probably won't but seeing Aldo vs Hominick is guaranteed to be technical striking at it's finest. I, for one, cannot wait for this fight. Roop got destroyed.
Unrelated, but I'm actually happy Mike Guymon lost. I don't like the guy. I don't want him in the UFC. I don't want to have to see his fights. 1-3 in the UFC and going to get that pink slip, along with Tim Hague (he shouldn't have come back), Amilcar Alves and Will Campuzano.
