I just seen screen shots to the WWE All Star video game and everyone in the game already has a Legends figure except for Andre The Giant(coming with the Legends ring) and Bret Hart. I don't understand why Mattel hasn't had a Bret Hart figure yet? The guy has done a lot of work with WWE this year and wrestled at both WrestleMania & SummerSlam. He is in video games which I believe Mattel helps make? So why still no Legends or DM Bret Hart? He will easily be one of the best sellers especially with as much as he has done with WWE this year so he's one of those guys known to the current generation and the past generation.

Bret should be released with Neidhart as a tag set first. One think I wish Classic and Legends lines would have done would have released characters evolutionary (is that a word?) Like have Sterling Golden, then Hulk Hogan, then Hollywood Hogan, then later years Hogan etc. I thought it would have been a creative way to release things.

From what I understand, Bret Hart has not signed a contract with Mattel yet. Why? No idea.

Mattel probably doesn't want to blow their load on the first sets. I mean that would be pretty stupid to release all the big names then later on release all crapguys later on down the road. Look how great Jakks did with releasing stuff throughout the line, even though some of the later figures were stupid repaints and i'm sure Mattel doesn't wanna do that.

I'm thinking he will be in Series 6 or 7. I'm confident we will get at least 2 Brets (one from his championship runs and one Hart foundation with Jim Neidhart) by the end of this year.

I was just watching some Bret Hart matches from the past and thought the exact same thing. Hopefully he will be made soon, strange that he hasn't signed with Mattel yet though, maybe they'll approach him when they plan on producing him.

It would be awesome if we got 3 bret hart's. one in basic series when he won the US title, 1 legend and 1 DM. Would be cool if we got a hart foundation boxset but it will never happen

I'd bet we see a Bret proto at this years NYC Toy Fair Yeah I can definitely see this. Last year's NYC Toy Fair's protos was headlined by DM Macho (with the Rockers/Von Erichs supporting). It wouldn't be a surprise if DM Bret headlined this year.

From what I understand, Bret Hart has not signed a contract with Mattel yet. Why? No idea. maybe holding out for more cash! As silly as it sounds this could be true. It took Jakks a long time to get Hogan, and until they did the biggest names in the Classic line were Warrior and Bret. Judging by the number of figures Jakks put out of the two they most likely paid them alot of money for the rights. Mattel on the other hand has Savage, Steamboat, Andre and Warrior so far. They are likely using a different scale to judge value with Hogan, Flair, Andre and Savage at the top. Bret could be looking to be in they upper level contract area or Mattel could just be low-balling him for now.
