There needs to be an end to the Christian speculation. There is NO WAY he is winning the Royal Rumble. End of. If WWE can't even be sure he'll be ready for WrestleMania, why would they have plans for him in one of their biggest matches? Not to mention he's a glorified midcarder. It's not going to happen. Same as there was no way of Eric Bischoff working for the WWE, or Bret Hart making a return to the WWE.

Christian may be 'deserving" but that can be said for lots of people. I like him but its a known fact Vince only thinks of him as a mid carder and much to small and skinny. Theres a reason the farthest push hes ever got has been as I-C and ECW champ in his whole WWE career. Jim Ross stands a better chance of winning The Rumble than he does. thought Vince wasn't high on him due to him making a big part of his fan base in TNA

i don't get the christian nutlicking either, he is a midcarder and nothing more, look at the talent in the past that didn't win the world title in vinces company ffs, ted dibiase, rick rude, curt hennig, jake roberts, those guys would s**t on christian
he went to tna got the title but they soon realised his rightful place was midcard and back he went and stayed until wwe resigned him, add to the fact that he is 38 years old when you have guys the best part of 10 years his junior such as del rio, barrett coming through i never see him with the main strap

The man is 33 years old (which is only a 5 year difference with CC, by he way) and he's very clearly just talented and THAT'S why he's being pushed, not because he is "young." Even his character isn't meant to be looked upon as "young and hungry," he comes out and gloats and talks about how prestigious and well known he is for a reason. There's a reason he and Christian were just beginning a feud when the injury happened. Basically his injury came right at the beginning of a push.
