This isn't good unless they do this in theaters. If Vince was smart he would try to compete and get this done before the UFC goes to have an option of 3D. Next thing we know on our TV's it will have Four Options for a Channel. They will be Regular TV, HDTV, 3D TV, HD 3D TV.

I don't get what the big deal about 3D is? Isn't the upgrade to HD enough?

I'm not sure why so many of you are against this. You still would have an option. 3d is not a fad as they are advancing the technology for 3d. Later this year they are releasing 3d tvs that do not require glasses.

So to confirm, there are no official plans to record WM27 in 3D?

It's going to be a while before you start seeing WWE in 3D, if at all.
WWE was a relatively late adopter of HD technology, so I don't see 3D being any different. There are very ,very few television programs being produced in 3D right now, and very few networks for them to broadcast on.
Not all cable providers have access to it, WWE would have to find a channel to broadcast on, and most importantly, only a very small section of the market has a 3D capable TV or cares enough to use it.
I think 3D is here to stay, but I think it's going to be a "geek" feature for quite a long time. To get the best out of a 3D TV right now, you really need to have a basis of knowledge of electronics and HDTVs in general. It's hardly something I'd recommend to your average family at this point.

I'm honestly surprised that people are still writing off 3D as a fad, or phase. The 90's 3D stuff was a fad, 3D now; is here to stay. It'll be around a long, long time. so getting motion sickness from watching TV is here for a long, long time? awesome!
