I have been looking through and reading these forums for the past few months and finally decided to sign up. With that being said, I wanted to know what you guys think about Mattel making Warlord and Barbarian in their singles attires. I know Jakks made them toward the end, but they were horrible and had no accessories. I think that these characters could be two of the coolest wrestling figures ever if they are done correctly. Based on what I've seen from Mattel so far, I think they could pull them off in the Legends or Defining Moments line. What do you think?
Papa Shango could also be a great mattel figure, along with more Machos and Warriors (with a better face scan).

I have always like the Powers of Pain so I'd pick up singles figures of them for sure. However I think they are more suited to the Legends line or a two pack. I don't ever see them getting Defining Moments figures when there are so many other options for big names and big moments not to mention I don't see too many people wanting to spend that much on either one of them.
I do agree with you that they could be pretty cool if done properly though. I also second the notion that Papa Shango would be an excellent figure and he is high on my list of people I want to see Mattel take a crack at.

Yeah, figures of Warlord and Barbarian definitely need to be made. Would be awesome figures!

I'm all for Warlord & Barbarian both in tag team and in singles.
As singles they had awesome gear and as the Powers of Pain - well that's the triumvirate - Demolition, LOD, Powers of Pain - this must be done!
Plus Barbarian is legitimately a tough SOB in a real life.
I'd love to get a figure of him and Meng!

i can see them all being made at some point. barbarian alone has so many possibilities. 80s singles attire, powers of pain, 90s singles attire, faces of fear, and head shrinkers

Powers of Pain was always one of my fav teams back in the day, I would love to get both PoP or the singles version of Warlord/Barbarian in Mattel Legends form. But if they only make one version of them... I would prefer they make Powers of Pain more, mattel could add the arm band/tassles they had also with their walk-in attire(studded/fur straplike vests). Ofcourse I would need a Ivan Koloff figure made also, so with 6-man tag straps

Not a priority. I'd much rather see 50-100 othe stars get figs before we get these two in their silly singles runs.

I would buy Powers of Pain versions of Warlord and Barbarian for sure. Not so sure about their singles attire though.
