Imagine the #1 entrant wins the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match, that means the #1 entrant beat 39 other men which would be unheard of, the first time that it would ever happen, and the #1 entrant would make history by eliminating 39 other men to win the Royal Rumble Match all the way from the #1 entry spot which would make you an instant legend, you would be in the record books and that means outlasting everybody, and the only 2 men in WWE history to win from the #1 position are Shawn Michaels way back in 1995 16 years ago, and Chris Benoit back in 2004 7 years ago, so someone becomes the third man to win from the #1 position

You should honestly add Mysterio to that list. Seeing as #1 and #2 start at the same time. Not to mention the #1 entrant wouldn't eliminate 39 other people, they'd out last them if they won.

This was the first thought that came through my head when they announced that it's gonna be a 40-man Royal Rumble.
Can't believe its 7 years ago since Benoit won.

If either Christian or Triple H return at either no.1 or 2, whichever one it is, will win it, I can guarantee that. Also I wonder if this 40 man Rumble will be a one time thing, or will all Rumble's from now on be 40 men.

The #1 entrant in the first ever 40 man Royal Rumble match will make history especially if the #1 entrant wins it, and they break the longest ever time record of being in the ring breaking Mysterio's record of lasting the longest especially since it's 40 men and not 30

the more i hear them talk about the odds being against cena, the more i expect him to win. any time the odds are stacked against cena, look out. which wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't so dang cheesy about it.

I want Alberto to start out #1 and have Alberto win the Rumble, he would be so cocky about outlasting 39 other men

It better be every 2 minutes a Superstar enters the ring and not every 60 seconds. If it's every 60 seconds, it'll suck ass. It'll remind me way too much of the '95 Rumble which was one of the worst Rumble's in history just because it was too short. They came in way too fast and it was over much too soon.

Then we'll compromise. 90 seconds. That is what the WWE has said the time will be.

Alberto Del Riooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Ricardo Rodriguez whenever he says Alberto's name, I love it, especially the personal ring announcing, it is Del Rio's destiny to win the Rumble and I want him to start out #1 and then outlast all 39 men to win the Rumble, that will be Alberto's huge push

Could be possible if the Entrant runs around like a intellectually- disabled person until 40 and he could win

Or imagine John Morrison enters at #1 and he wins it all, a 40-man Royal Rumble Match, John Morrison would then become the next Shawn Michaels by outlasting 39 other men, John Morrison just so reminds me of a 1995 version of Shawn Michaels

Please let it be Morrison, he reminds me so much of The Boy Toy Shawn Michaels way back when Michaels was a heel back when Michaels won the Rumble in 1995, Morrison can do the same thing and win the 40-man Rumble from the #1 spot and he would then become cocky about it, and turn heel again and Morrison could then become the next HBK by winning the Rumble from the #1 spot

I dont want Del Rio to win, but it seems that he is going to win. That doesn't mean I don't like him, but its too early. I don't want them to Swagger him and make him a mid-carder 6 months later..!

I'm still expecting Cena to win, quite honestly, but I'm hoping for pretty much anything else.
I'm not putting much stock into Del Rio. I think he'll have an impressive showing, but if it's going to be a heel taking it, I think it will be CM Punk.
As for #1, I'm sure we'll have a pretty good indication as soon as the match starts whether or not they stand a chance. It almost seems too picture perfect for WWE to do it, but i wouldn't put it past them, especially with Cena.

Or Jericho returns for the Rumble as a surprise entrant at #40 or at #39, imagine it

I sure hope nobody wins at #1 in a 40-man Rumble because it makes all past winners seem a little less impressive to fans of a new generation.
Besides, where do they go from here if the first year crowns a #1 winner? Is next year's Rumble a disappointment if someone wins from #3-40 then?
And the Morrison-HBK comparisons are a little tired by now; it's never going to happen and WWE would still manage to screw up a Morrison push heading into WrestleMania.
