Not gonna lie, this used to be a tearjerker for me when I was a kid.
I've watched my Summerslam '93 VHS tape (with Todd Pettengill pre-show!) more than any other and it will always hold a special place in my nostalgia-loving heart.
The New Generation era was always fascinating to me and, even though Luger's push turned into a complete failure, everything about it brings back some of my earliest wrestling memories.
Also, I love that the same tape has a somewhat rare episode of Sunday Night Slam on USA from the week before Summerslam '94. It's so random, and I don't think I ever saw SS94 until I bought the WWE boxed set a few years ago.

Same here. As far as wrestling's concerned, those are my roots.

First match I ever watched when I was like 5. On one of my uncles VHS's. After that I was hooked

Not a match or in-ring segment (really), but when Ric Flair introduced this it gave me goosebumps. Still does. Best video package in wrestling history.

Videos like this remind me of how poor wrestling is these days. And one of the things it misses most, too. Passion. Listen to the crowd. Listen to JR. Listen to the promos. None of it sounds green at all. It all comes from the heart. Not anymore.

Just mainly the end of the match and the post-match celebration, with Owen looking on and shaking his head. Man, that was such a great moment, since Bret Hart was the first wrestler I really liked and his feud with Owen got me into wrestling.

This is just the recap, but the segment itself was the first time I ever watched WWE/F.

This is for all of you old school cats out there, but my GOD did this tag team annoy me when I was a kid. I don't even remember why. But their song has always been ingrained in the back of my head for years now...

I must say that's a personal favorite of mine too...but it's about 100x better when you see it before a live event and the roaring fans are reacting to certain superstars during the video. And of course whenever Ric Flair shows up on there a consensus of "Wooooooooooooooooos" echoe through the arena. I think they stopped showing it though, as I can't recall seeing it the past few times I've gone to an event.
