If you could bring only ONE superstar back to the WWE who would it be,
They could be living or dead or in a different company or retired.
Who would you bring back to the WWE

First off, this thread is made about every month. You'd think by now we could just make one, and stick with it.
Second off, any answer regarding a superstar from a different company that doesn't end with Kurt Angle is wrong.

Bret Hart or Curt Hennig.

If it were physically possible, I'd say Curt Hennig. Aside from the obvious fact that he's my favorite, it would make a good storyline with his son. As a babyface, he could try to reason with him to break free from CM Punk's spell, and change his name back to "Hennig"...with "Michael" resisting at every turn.

Shawn Michaels or Chris Benoit, for the obvious reasons that they are my favourites.

Eddie Guerrero for the selfish reason to entertain me. Owen Hart for the more noble reason of allowing him to be with his family.

The Rock or Bret Hart. Because The Rock made it so much more entertaining to watch and Bret Hart made the in-ring aspect so much better.

Shawn Michaels or Chris Benoit, for the obvious reasons that they are my favourites. Exactly this. Both put on great matches and Benoit was my all time favourite wrestler.

Bret Hart. He's my favorite wrestler ever.
btw im always amazed when threads ask people to list a certain number or people for a certain topic and so many people list more than the number. not a big deal. just an observation really.

For a one time angle? The simple answer for me is The Rock. I would have loved to see him work Mania against Shawn and I would still love to see him come back and face Cena. He isn't ever going to return to wrestling full time but I don't think he has completely abandoned wrestling all together.
Shawn Michaels is my favorite wrestler of all time, but I felt like we all got a gift for having him be able to come back in 2002. The past 8 years have been more than enough for me to let Shawn walk away and be happy. I don't feel like I got cheated out of anything with Michaels when he retired, and I feel like he gave us everything he had.

Without a shadow of a doubt it has to be the great one, the man is the ultimate face.
...but if he came back to do a Rock/Hogan angle and job to Cena I would much rather see him make more Disney movies.

MVP, providing he was used right as a heel.

MVP, providing he was used right as a heel. Or just used as a heel in general. I thought a lot of his heel work with Hardy and around the time that HHH and Jeff Hardy were feuding over the WWE title was good. I know we will disagree on this, but I don't know what happened wrestling wise between WM 23's MVP and the last year or so, but his matches have been boring. Not entirely on his part, but I'd like to see the heel MVP that kept up with CB.

Eddie, he overcame problems in his paste, worked hard, and made it to the top. Amazing in the ring, amazing on the mic, amazing gimmick and a amazing person. Cut down to early by problems from his past when he still had so much more to give. And his death showed that a the world had a lot of love for the man, to have him back would be a dream come true.

Bret "Hitman" Hart, for retired
Chris Benoit, for dead
Kurt Angle, from another company
Having those 3 at the same time, on the same company, would be amazing for me.
