In the latest interview in wwe mag, he tAlks about moving past the wwe title, like hbk and taker did, and being like those 2, helping establish new stars. So maybe he won't win, besides is it really considered a "surprise" return if everybody expects it? As far as I know, cena was suppose to be out for close to a year when he returned it was like 4-6 months early. Triple h has already been out close to a year

I guess.
I mean I have so many expectations and theories about returns this sunday, that if Triple H doesnt return it wont be a letdown because somebody will.

I'd be pretty surprised. I've been expecting him back since around Hell in a Cell. This is the last stop before Wrestlemania where it'd actually make sense for him to return and have enough time to have a proper build-up for a 'Mania match.

Yes, but I know he won't be able to resist the urge to have the limelight thrust upon himself and bury up and coming stars.

Id be somewhat shocked if he didnt return. What would really be shocking though if someone like Ryder or someone you would least expect actually win the rumble match itself.

Not really, it has gotten to the point where everyone thinks it is a sure-thing so it probably isn't. I can honestly say I would be shocked, and disappointed if he won the Rumble. I have at no point actually believed they would have another guy "return" and win the Rumble after just doing it.
Triple H sounds pretty happy taking on creative control so maybe he really just doesn't want to be on tv right now. I know it sounds crazy, but peoples goals and aspirations change as they get older, and dare I say mature. Triple H is set to be the next Vince, and it seems reasonable to me that he has risen above thinking he needs to chase Flair's legacy when he could do more for the business than just perform in the ring.

To be honest, I'm not expecting him to return Sunday. Triple H is the kind of guy that if promoted to be at a PPV people will buy it to see him return. Hasn't happend yet so I'm not getting my hopes up. That said, I'd like him to return Sunday.

I honestly dont think he's going to return. And if he does, I think he'll eliminate Sheamus and himself at the same time. Because there's no way he's winning it.

I'd be surprised, sure. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I'd be surprised but I don't really care if he doesn't yet show up. Would be fun if he returned in the Rumble and eliminated Sheamus restarting their feud..

Tbh no, It's just speculation and although he is cleared to wrestle it seems his backstage role is the first priority, I do think he will return soon in time for Mania.
