This should definitely be good! Can't wait to see what you do with Albert Del Rio, Diesel, and Booker T. I will definitely be reading this.

EWRESTLINGNEWS.COM Reported by: Ryan Clark
- The WWE revealed the official promotional poster for their next Pay-Per-View event, WWE Elimination Chamber, which will take place in three weeks. You can view the post here.
- According to a trustworthy source, both Diesel and Booker T will remain under contract by the company following their appearences at last nights Royal Rumble event. The original idea was to assign Booker T either a manager role, or as a trainer backstage. Due to the reaction he received at the event, it is believed they will go with the former choice of a manager to get him on TV. However, rumours have sparked the idea of Booker T feuding with The New Nexus over on Raw, but whether or not that will happen with the obvious Nexus/Orton storyline building into WrestleMania is uncertain.
- As for Kevin Nash, being billed as his original WWE character, Diesel, he returned to the WWE at the very last minure. Nash had verbally agreed to return to TNA, only to jump ship and join the WWE, appearing in the Royal Rumble match. With this being an on the spot decision, it is unknown what plasn the WWE have for him, but according to many reports from the event, a referee spoke with Nash following his elimination from the match, which apparently was a quick cue for the staredown between him and the Big Show. Diesel versus Big Show is highly expected to come from this.
- According to WWE.com, both World Titles WILL be defended inside Elimination Chamber matches. The winner of the 2011 Royal Rumble, Alberto Del Rio is expected to be given a separate match on that night, however, it is unknown who it will be against. Expect Del Rio to make his choice of Championship match very soon, in order for the story to be built.

I really hope we don't see a Diesel/Big Show match because that would be horrible! I really wish you would have changed the Elimination Chamber concept and only put one title on the line. It is very easy to make a logical WWE Championship match, but the World Heavyweight Championship is kind of hard because the main feuds haven't been intertwined. Realistic, Smackdown doesn't have that much star power. I mean you have Edge/Kane/Show/Wade/Rey (if he isn't injuried) and than I really don't know. Maybe Drew or Booker T or something random.

January 31st, 2011 – Monday Night Raw WWE Superstars Tapings Zack Ryder with Primo defeats. Goldust Yoshi Tatsu defeats. William Regal
- Monday Night Raw opens up without pyrotechnics this week. Instead, Justin Roberts greets us with the introduction of Alberto Del Rio’s personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez, who gets a lot of heat. Rodriguez is grinning from ear to ear as we hear the theme of Alberto Del Rio himself. Rodriguez begins his introduction as Del Rio drives into the arena in another one of his expensive cars, this one with a specialized number plate reading “RR WINN3R”. He cockily leaves the vehicle and does his signature taunt on the ramp, cueing his pyrotechnics to slowly sprinkle from the overhead screen. He enters the ring and is handed a microphone by Rodriguez who is still highly excited. His music fades and Del Rio begins to speak.
- He starts off by saying he is Alberto Del Rio, and he is the 2011 Royal Rumble winner, but apparently… we already knew that. He says that he told us all, of his destiny to become the winner of the Royal Rumble, and then go on to Main Event WrestleMania. Del Rio reminds us that not only did he win the Royal Rumble, but he defeated an extra ten men more than the previous winners, making him the greatest Royal Rumble winner of all time. This gets quite a large amount of boos from the crowd. He then goes on to talk about how he now has a choice to make, a choice of which Champion he will challenge at WrestleMania. Before he can continue any further, the theme of WWE Champion, The Miz hits the arena to a lot of heat. He walks down the ramp with his protégé Alex Riley and enters the ring. Firstly, he congratulates Del Rio on his Royal Rumble victory. He then tells Del Rio that before he goes making any big decisions, he should weigh up the opportunities. He says that while Del Rio does have the ability to challenge for a title of his choice, he says that he would benefit far more from challenging for the World Heavyweight Championship. The crowd boo, obviously understanding that The Miz is simply trying to wriggle his way out of another title defense. Del Rio smirks, and then tells Miz to continue. Miz says that if Del Rio was to win the World Heavyweight Championship, then together, they could rule the entire WWE from both Raw and SmackDown. Miz boasts about how he beat Randy Orton last night once again, failing to mention that he did it by the skin of his teeth, with help from The New Nexus. He tells Del Rio that as ‘the most must-see Champion in WWE history’, he knows what he’s talking about, and that Del Rio could quite easily stand by his side as the World Heavyweight Champion. Del Rio rubs his chin and says he’ll think about it, and that he won’t make his decision tonight. Suddenly, much to the excitement of the WWE Universe, the theme of John Cena hits the arena. The Miz and Alex Riley quickly scan the area, obviously worried about what Cena might do after last night at the Royal Rumble. Cena comes out of nowhere and goes to clothesline Miz, but Riley sacrifices himself and gets dropped by Cena. The Miz escapes and retreats to near the announce desk as Del Rio simply looks on. Suddenly, Jerry Lawler gets up from the commentary desk and grabs The Miz, throwing him back into the ring. John Cena begins to deliver hard shots to The Miz, but Del Rio gets involved and starts beating down on Cena. Lawler enters the ring and pulls of Del Rio, resulting in a big four man brawl. However, the carnage is paused as the Anonymous General Manager chimes in. Michael Cole lunges to the laptop and screams to stop the chaos. He reads from the laptop, “And I quote, this is uncalled for, and you have no business out here, Cena. But seeing as you all like getting involved in each other’s business, including you, King, then tonight, I have an idea. For our Main Event, it will be Alberto Del Rio and the WWE Champion, The Miz taking on John Cena and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler!” The crowd erupt as the two teams form. Miz and Del Rio stand outside the ring while Cena and King stand inside. The Raw theme plays as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
- We return to see Josh Mathews as the commentary desk, replacing Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler as he prepares for his match later on. Michael Cole expresses his anger towards King before we get out first contest underway.
Sheamus & Ted DiBiase with Maryse defeat. John Morrison & Daniel Bryan with Gail Kim This match came to a close when The Bella Twins came out and began a scrap with Gail Kim. This distracted Daniel Bryan who was then drilled with a huge Brogue Kick from Sheamus for the victory.
- After the match, the divas have to be broken up by officials. Sheamus however isn’t finished as he attacks John Morrison, but Morrison evades a Brogue Kick and springs off the middle rope, hitting him with a Chuck Kick before escaping from the ring. Morrison leaves with the last laugh over Sheamus as we fade backstage.
- We are taken to the locker room of The New Nexus where CM Punk is talking to his followers. He says that last night, they made a huge impact in the WWE Championship match, and then in the Royal Rumble, but their plans were cut short by John Cena. David Otunga asks what they accomplished by helping The Miz last night. CM Punk gets angry and shouts at Otunga for daring to question his judgment. He says that by making sure Randy Orton didn’t win the WWE Championship, they unsettled the balance of the WWE, proving to the world that they are a force to be reckoned with. McGillicutty then speaks, saying that angering Randy Orton may not have been the best ideas especially after seeing what he has done in the past. Punk tells his Nexus followers to stop doubting and have ‘faith’. He says that there are five of them and one of him – they can ‘deal with him’. They leave the locker room and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Michelle McCool with Layla defeats. Eve After a shocking victory last night, Eve followed it up with a loss to the diva who argues that she should be the Champion, Michelle McCool. She picked up the victory after a small amount of interference from Layla, followed by a Faithbreaker.
- Afterwards, Lay-Cool proceeded to attack Eve, only to be fought off by former Divas Champion, Natalya, who rushed to the ring to make the save. Natalya helped Eve to her feet as Lay-Cool retreated up the ramp. We then fade backstage.
- We see the WWE Tag Team Champions, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov to a huge pop. Santino explains to Kozlov how he was so close to winning the Royal Rumble last night, but ‘Alberto Dellario’ beat him at the last second. Kozlov nods his head, apparently understanding, but whether or not he did is a different question. Suddenly, the duo is interrupted by Alberto Del Rio himself to a lot of heat. He says that winning the Royal Rumble was his destiny, and no silly little Italian was going to take that away from him. Vladimir Kozlov steps in front of Santino and tells Del Rio to pick on someone his own size. Santino says he can handle himself, and then issues a challenge, suggesting that the two should face off on SmackDown. Del Rio laughs and then agrees before walking off. We then fade to ringside.
R-Truth defeats. Tyson Kidd In a rematch from WWE Superstars, these two faced off, and with the same result too. R-Truth finished Tyson Kidd off with the Lie Detector. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
- We return to hear the theme of CM Punk who comes out, followed by the rest of The New Nexus. All five men enter the ring and line up in formation before CM Punk begins to speak. He smirks and tells the WWE Universe that The New Nexus is the future of this industry, and it’s all because of the risks they take. He says that costing Randy Orton the WWE Championship was not an act of stupidity; it was an act of bravery, an act of courage, what Nexus is all about. He says that it is all about faith, and sacrificing yourself for the greater your leader. The crowd boo, and are actually shocked that these men are agreeing to this and letting Punk use them. He says he isn’t afraid of Randy Orton, nor are any members of The New Nexus, because they are all ‘fearless’. Punk says that while he was unsuccessful in winning the Royal Rumble, he accomplished something nobody else has, and that is getting inside the mind of The Viper. Punk says that he knows Orton will be looking for retribution, and when he comes for it, they are ready to take it in their stride. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Randy Orton slithers into the ring. Fortunately for Punk, he sees him and escapes, alongside Mason Ryan. McGillicutty, Otunga and Harris remain in the ring to battle with The Viper, but Orton is set on revenge. He takes McGillicutty down with a huge Powerslam, drops Otunga with the modified backbreaker and plants Harris with the RKO, much to the crowd’s excitement. While Harris and Otunga roll out of the ring, Orton grabs McGillicutty and drags him into the center. The New Nexus escape up the ramp and then the remaining four line up on the stage. McGillicutty gets on his hands and knees and Orton goes into another zone. He stares at McGillicutty and then backs up into the corner. CM Punk looks at his fellow Nexus members and then looks towards the ring before raising his right fist into the air, doing the Nexus salute, appearing to be sacrificing McGillicutty. Orton doesn’t have to be asked twice as he sprints and delivers a sickening Punt to the skull of McGillicutty, knocking him out cold. Medical officials rush to the ring to check on him as Orton stands tall and his theme plays. The sick thing is, CM Punk smirks at Orton, not even bothered by what has just transpired. Orton and Punk stare each other down as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Elimination Chamber, airing on February 20th, 2011. We then return to Raw.
The Great Khali with Ranjin Singh defeats. Jey Uso with Jimmy Uso After a return last night at the Royal Rumble, Khali was hoping for a victory here, and he got it, planting Jey Uso with the Punjabi Plunge for the victory. We then fade backstage.
- Scott Stanford is backstage alongside the WWE Champion, The Miz and his apprentice, Alex Riley to a lot of heat. He asks Miz why he eliminated John Cena from the Royal Rumble last night, despite not being a part of the match. Miz says that John Cena dared to question his abilities as WWE Champion, and said that he wouldn’t retain against Randy Orton, but he did. He says that proving him wrong wasn’t enough, and that Cena needed a reality check, one that made him realize that he is ‘awesome’! Miz and Riley leave as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
- We return to see a quick promo package, which closes with the numbers "2 21 11". The package shown is here. We then return to ringside.
Alberto Del Rio & The Miz with Alex Riley defeat. John Cena & Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler The Miz and Jerry Lawler opened things up. Later on, Alex Riley got involved while John Cena was on the apron, resulting in Cena chasing Riley up the ramp. The referee leant through the ropes to try and call Cena back, which allowed The Miz to drill King with the WWE Championship belt and then leave the ring again. Cena returned to ringside, not knowing what just happened, and Alberto Del Rio took advantage, covering King and picking up the victory.
- John Cena was confused as Alberto Del Rio left in celebration. The Miz and Alex Riley left too with smug smirks on their faces. Cena checked on King as Monday Night Raw faded to a close.

I really like the Alberto Del Rio Raw graphic, nice touch. Del Rio kicking off the show is good. I love the Miz trying to create a scheme to get Del Rio on his side to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. I love seeing coming out and going straight on the attack. Lawler getting involved is solid too. The tag team main event was an obvious decision, but I like it. I do not care much for the opening tag team match, but I guess it serves its purpose. Sheamus pinning the distracted Daniel Bryan is fine. I am satisfied that the Sheamus/Morrison feud is far from over. I really like the hostility growing in the New Nexus, but I hope you do not split the group up too early. McCool defeating Eve is fine and Natalya making the save works. I am unsure how much I care for Santino taking on Del Rio this Friday on Smackdown, but I will see where you go with it. I hope overtime you end the brands and unify the titles or that you actually make two separate brands and entities. Truth defeating Kidd is a fine filler match. I do like that you are continuing the feud of Orton and Punk, and the head punt to McGillicutty is good. Khali squashing Jey Uso is something I do particularly care for. I love Cena getting distracted and the Miz being able to plant King with the WWE Championship to steal the victory. Overall, this was as solid return show, but something seemed lacking - maybe the lack of Elimination Chamber build up.

Alberto Del Rio having a personalised number plate reading "RR WINN3R" is awesome, such a cool idea. Liked the opening segment a lot, the main event sounds good. I hope Del Rio gets the pin, just to continue to build him towards Wrestlemania. Sheamus and DiBiase over Bryan and Morrison is fine, like the finish incorporating The Bellas. Not a huge fan of Eve losing the night after winning the title, but I'm a big Michelle McCool fan so I can't complain too much. Bit of a random segment with Del Rio and Santino, but I'm glad Santino getting so far in the rumble isn't being ignored. Truth winning is fine.
I like that you kept Mason Ryan strong during the Orton segment, having him escape with Punk. McGillicutty getting punted is fine with me. Khali winning is to be expected. Main event is fine, glad Del Rio won. Good show, would have liked to of seen more build towards Elimination Chamber but other than that; I'm looking forward to seeing where you go.

WWE RAW: Monday 31st January 2011...Zack Ryder beating Goldust is nice, interested how far this Ryder and Primo will go. Hopefully nowhere too big. I can't stand Ryder, and this is Primo's only upward rise. Yoshi Tatsu beaitng William Regal is acceptable, do something with both men please. It disappoints me to see that one year after ECW has ended, their main stars are still competing on Superstars. Obvious we were to expect Alberto Del Rio in the ring first, to cut a promo. I would love a little touch where Santino Marella wants to challenge Del Rio because he was the last man he eliminated in the Royal Rumble. The Miz involved was a nice hint at Del Rio and Miz. I just hope that you don't make Del Rio's decision for WWE Championship or World Heavyweight Championship shot occur too soon. Save it for after Elimination Chamber at least. Expected violence from John Cena, I'm looking forward to this tag team main event. Sheamus and Ted Dibiase is an interesting team. Dibiase really does need to stop facing John Morrison and Daniel Bryan, though. He needs fresher competition. Obvious win, liked the team with Morrison and Bryan. Interesting what you will do with the Bella Twins as heels. I'd like to see one of the Bellas as WWE Divas Champion in the future. They're talented in the ring, and actually talented on the mic. I'd say go for the Pretty Mean Sisters approach, but Laycool have it covered. Liking CM Punk restoring 'faith' in Nexus. I don't understand why Eve wins the title and then instantly loses to Michelle McCool. Interference or not, that was dire booking. Natalya would obviously make the save. Where is Beth Phoenix in all of this? Wow, Del Rio actually does face Santino. That's good. R-Truth beating Tyson Kidd was obvious, Kidd is now lost after his bodyguard backed out. CM Punk's promo should have been held back a little. You had no actual first-hour main event, which struck me as weird. Punk and Nexus having a feud with Randy Orton can be good; just make it original. And different from John Cena's feud with Nexus. The Great Khali obviously beating Jey Uso in his RAW return. Nice main event win for Alberto Del Rio and The Miz against Jerry Lawler and Cena. A decent episode, but some of the matches were weak and unnecessary. There wasn't too much build, no vignettes for the supposedly debuting Sting either. I feel like there should have been more important segments, maybe Nexus should have been in action. Oddly structured at the same time.

Nice way to open the show with the Royal Rumble winner. I thought it was a good idea to keep some of the stuff they actually used in real life, as it shows Miz's gimmick very well. Main event should be interesting. Nothing too special about the first two matches. I'm wondering how you're gonna do the divas title feud, though. I could see Alberto Del Rio getting too cocky on SD and losing to Santino. The segment with the Nexus was great. I can't wait to see how you do the Orton/Punk feud. Really liked the main event. The finish was played out very well, I could see the Miz doing that actually. Overall, Raw was very nice and developed a lot of important angles. The matches could use a little bit more detail. Other then that, I enjoyed reading it.

Nice Job Elliot. I like the way you opened the show. Nice job on keeping the Bellas/Kim feud and have Sheamus/DiBiase go over. Nice way to have Michelle win and to keep Eve from not looking weak. Alberto Del Rio versus Santino on Smackdown, hopefully it is not the Main Event. Randy Orton punting McGuillicuty was nice to cut down the Nexus. Khali over Jey is predictable. Hopeing you do big things with the 2 21 11 thing. I like the ending with the Main Event and how Lawler might want some more revenge on The Miz.

EWRESTLINGNEWS.COM Reported by: Ryan Clark
- As established this past Monday on Raw, Randy Orton will continue his feud with CM Punk and The New Nexus. It is expected, however, that Orton will focus mostly on CM Punk, as plans call for The New Nexus to continue their rivalry with the SmackDown faction, The Corre. According to a source, Michael McGillicutty will be out indefinitely following the Punt from Orton on Raw.
- WWE are advertising four Elimination Chamber Qualifying matches for this Friday's SmackDown. The matches will be Big Show vs. Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre vs. Kane, Jack Swagger vs. Kofi Kingston and Rey Mysterio vs. Ezekiel Jackson. Obviously Edge will automatically qualify as the World Heavyeight Champion, and it is expected that Dolph Ziggler will receive the remaining spot. Speaking of Edge and Dolph Ziggler, the Main Event of SmackDown has been advertised as a World Heavyweight Championship rematch from the Royal Rumble. Dolph Ziggler will once again challenge Edge for the title.
- Many are wondering what the promo package which aired on Raw is actually referring to. The dark segment saw a mysterious figure in a long, black trenchcoat entering an abandoned shack, followed by the numbers "2 21 11" appearing across the screen. It has sparked rumours around the internet regarding the identity of this person. The Undertaker is the obvious choice, but others have guessed that it could be the WCW legend and former TNA superstar, Sting. Rumours circling his supposed 'signing' with the company have been ongoing over the past few weeks, but nothing was ever officially revealed. Sting is reknowned for his reluctance to work for the WWE, despite never actually stating any dislike for the company. However, many believe it to be highly unlikely that he would sign with the company.
- Kevin Nash tweeted earlier today that he had been called in to the SmackDown tapings. Expect to see Diesel making a full-time WWE return this Friday, and as we reported earlier, a storyline with the Big Show appears to be the route they are taking.

February 4th, 2011 – Friday Night SmackDown
WWE Superstars Tapings Chris Masters & Trent Barreta defeat. Chavo Guerrero & Tyler Reks
- Friday Night SmackDown opens up with its usual pyrotechnics display, followed by the commentary team of Josh Mathews, Matt Striker and Michael Cole welcoming us to the show. They tell us that tonight; Edge will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Dolph Ziggler in a rematch from the Royal Rumble. They also tell us that we will see Elimination Chamber qualifying matches with the event taking place in just under three weeks. We then hear the theme of the World Heavyweight Champion, Edge to a huge pop. He comes out with a smile on his face and enters the ring ready to speak.
- He says that at the Royal Rumble, he overcame the odds, defeating Dolph Ziggler to retain his World Heavyweight Championship. But tonight, he is forced to do it all over again, simply because Vickie Guerrero enjoys watching him suffer. He says that regardless of the circumstances, he WILL defeat Ziggler once again tonight, and he will enter the Elimination Chamber as the Champion. Before he can continue, the theme of Alberto Del Rio hits to a ton of heat, and he drives out in celebration, introduced by his personal ring announcer, Ricardo Rodriguez. He enters the ring and speaks with Edge. He says that this past Monday on Raw, he spoke about how he was already thinking about making his decision for which Championship he should go after at WrestleMania, and The Miz gave some valid points, so he wanted to give Edge the same chance to state his ideas. Edge looks slightly confused and says that he saw what The Miz did, but he won’t do the same. He says that he isn’t going to spend the next ten minutes trying to convince him to not challenge for his title at WrestleMania, he is going to welcome any challenges he receives. Del Rio looks pleased at this. Edge says that if Del Rio wants to challenge for his title at WrestleMania, then so be it, but he should know one thing – he will beat him. The crowd pop as Del Rio laughs. Del Rio tells Edge that he admires his confidence, but whichever Championship he chooses to challenge for, he will get it, no matter who the Champion may be. Edge gets up in Del Rio’s face and asks him to try it if he doesn’t believe him. Before anything can boil over, the theme of Dolph Ziggler hits and he walks down the ramp with his girlfriend, the Acting General Manager of SmackDown, Vickie Guerrero. They stand hand-in-hand as Vickie attempts to speak, but not before a few “Excuse me!” screeches, which make even Del Rio flinch. Vickie says that while Del Rio does have the right to choose which Championship he goes after, he does not have to make that decision just yet, and therefore, the focus is still on Dolph Ziggler and his title match tonight. Vickie says that Edge bent the rules at the Royal Rumble, and she is going to make sure he doesn’t do that again, because she is ordering every available referee to observe the match, and ensure that the now illegal Spear does not get used. Edge says that if he is still unable to use the Spear on Dolph Ziggler in the match, then he has to get something off his chest… SPEAR TO ZIGGLER! The crowd go nuts as Edge drills Dolph Ziggler with the Spear, grinning from ear-to-ear as Vickie screams. Alberto Del Rio looks on in shock as Edge holds his World Heavyweight Championship up in the air. The two share a quick glare as we fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Elimination Chamber, airing on February 21st, 2011. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match; Jack Swagger defeats. Kofi Kingston These two have had quite the rivalry the past couple of months, but tonight was about the World Heavyweight Championship. Jack Swagger managed to finish Kingston off after ducking the Trouble In Paradise and planting him with the Gutwrench Powerbomb. Jack Swagger celebrated as we fade backstage.
- The World Heavyweight Champion, Edge is backstage, speaking with Kelly Kelly. Edge thanks Kelly for what she did at the Royal Rumble, and gives her a hug. Kelly says she was fed up of seeing Vickie Guerrero stick her nose in business that isn’t hers, so she did something about it. Edge says that he would appreciate it if Kelly would accompany him to the ring in the Main Event tonight. Kelly agrees and Edge walks off, leaving her delighted as we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match; Kane defeats. Drew McIntyre Drew McIntyre puts up a good fight, but in the end, the Big Red Monster was able to deliver a thunderous Chokeslam, claiming the victory and earning himself a spot in the Elimination Chamber match in less than three weeks. We then fade backstage.
- We are taken to the locker room of The Corre, who are discussing their tag team match against the Big Show and Rey Mysterio, which will also be an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match. Wade Barrett says that he and Ezekiel Jackson are going to win tonight, and gain entry to the Elimination Chamber match. He says that once The Corre are in, it doesn’t matter who wins, because the World Heavyweight Championship will belong to The Corre, not any individual. The other three men are happy with that, but then they say what if they don’t win tonight. Barrett ensures that they WILL win tonight, because The Corre are the most dominant force in the WWE, and not even Big Show and Rey Mysterio can stop them. We then fade further backstage.
- The SmackDown theme plays as we see Alberto Del Rio strolling down the corridor with a grin on his face, making his way to the ring. We then fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
Alberto Del Rio defeats. Santino Marella with Vladimir Kozlov & Tamina Santino Marella came so close at the Royal Rumble, but unfortunately, it was Del Rio’s time. Similarly, this match appeared to be in Del Rio’s favor too, as once the Rolling Cross Armbar was locked in, there was no escaping for poor Santino, giving the victory to the 2011 Royal Rumble winner. We then fade backstage.
- Todd Grisham is backstage alongside the Big Show and Rey Mysterio to a huge pop. He asks them what they think of The Corre. Big Show says that he has been taken down by them once, but he isn’t going to let that happen again, and he plans on getting revenge on Ezekiel Jackson after he eliminated him from the Royal Rumble. Rey Mysterio says that he and the Big Show have the experience factor, and that these men don’t know what the Elimination Chamber is like. They say that they will win tonight and prevent them from getting anywhere near the World Heavyweight Championship. The duo walk off and we fade to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
- We return to see the same promo package we saw on Raw, ending with the numbers “2 21 11”. The package can be seen here. We then return to ringside.
Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match; Big Show & Rey Mysterio defeat. The Corre (Wade Barrett & Ezekiel Jackson) Despite their confidence, The Corre were unable to claim the victory here, losing to the dynamic duo of Big Show and Rey Mysterio. It was looking promising as Ezekiel Jackson grounded the giant, but once Mysterio exploded into the ring, there was no stopping him. Mysterio picked up the victory after he pinned Ezekiel Jackson following the 619, and a Chokeslam from the Big Show.
- After the match, all four members of The Corre delivered a beat-down to Show and Mysterio. The crowd booed as they took control of the situation. Suddenly, to the excitement of the WWE Universe, the theme of Booker T hit the arena. The crowd went wild as not only did Booker T emerge onto the stage, but he stood alongside Diesel too! They stormed to the ring and fought off The Corre, sending them retreating up the ramp. Justin Gabriel remained the only one in the ring, and because of that, was driven to the canvas by a huge Jackknife Powerbomb from Diesel. Big Show, Rey Mysterio, Booker T and Diesel stood tall as The Corre fled from ringside. We then fade to a commercial break.

- Todd Grisham is backstage alongside Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero to a lot of heat. He asks them if they think that they can defeat Edge this time around. Ziggler says he could always defeat Edge, but at the Royal Rumble, Edge cheated to win, he broke the rules. Tonight, he won’t be able to do that, and Ziggler says he will win because it will be ‘fair’. Grisham mentions that banning Edge’s signature move isn’t exactly ‘fair’, which angers Vickie. She asks Grisham how he dare question her authority, but he quickly backs out, apologizing. Vickie and Ziggler storm off as we fade to ringside.
Eve, Natalya & Beth Phoenix defeat. Lay-Cool & Melina After suffering a loss at the hands of Michelle McCool on Raw, Eve was looking for some retribution, and she got it tonight. The trio of divas defeated their rivals when Beth Phoenix planted Layla with the GlamSlam for the victory. We then fade to a promo package.
- We see a promo package for WWE Elimination Chamber, airing on February 21st, 2011. We then cut to a commercial break.
Commercial Break.
World Heavyweight Championship Match; Edge [C] with Kelly Kelly defeats. Dolph Ziggler with Vickie Guerrero via Disqualification Once again, the rule still applied that if Edge used the Spear, he would be disqualified and lose the World Heavyweight Championship. However, Edge wasn’t the one getting disqualified, it was Dolph Ziggler, but of no fault of his own. It looked for a second as if Edge was closing in on a victory, but with referees surrounding the ring, he couldn’t use the Spear. He grabbed Ziggler, going for the move he finished him off with at the Royal Rumble, the Killswitch, inherited from his long-time friend, Christian. However, out of nowhere, Alberto Del Rio enters the fray and brutally clubs Edge on the back of the head, resulting in the disqualification.
- Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero fled from the scene as Alberto Del Rio paced around Edge with a smirk on his face, seeing an opportunity to injure a possible WrestleMania opponent. Del Rio seemed to be getting ready for the Rolling Cross Armbar, but all of a sudden – the theme of Christian hits and the WWE Universe erupt. Del Rio quickly spins around and is met with a flurry of blows from Christian. He delivers right and lefts to him, getting revenge from the injury he gave him months ago. Christian clotheslines Del Rio over the top rope and then helps Edge to his feet. Edge, Christian and Kelly Kelly stand tall with smiles on their faces as Del Rio, Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero retreat up the ramp. SMackDOwn then fades to a close.

Good stuff so far, man. I like how you're keeping King in the thick of things, would be unrealistic if you didn't. I see eventually he'll have a match with Miz where he'll have to retire, but that's just me. I like how you're using Del Rio, keeping the suspense high. I'd like to see him stay on smackdown, and see him kinda be the face of that show. I'm hoping Ziggler stays in the main event-ish scene, he's on a roll right now. Christian returning? YES! Excited to see how he fits into wrestlemania, hope he gets into the Smackdown elimination chamber! Keep it up.
