Hey Bill- What's the deal with Legends 2pack 2??? TRU will NEVER stock L2P2. There is too much L2P1. How about releasing the set through Mattel.com or RSC?? I know everyone here would buy the Rockers and Von Erichs in a heartbeat

If I may interject here... you guys saying budget this, problem that - just stop. There are costs Mattel has to deal with that I am sure none of us know about. Aside from that, I have seen a slice of upcoming stuff. Apart from no ring, you have very little to be worried about.

Mattel can at least let us know why things happen. We can be understanding.

I'm thankful we were at least notified but we're not babies. Mattel can at least let us know why things happen. I don't think that's necessarily true. As a huge corporation, I don't think that Mattel can say things like "the poor sales of the Elite Scale Ring" (if that's the reason for the cancellation) on a public forum. They have to put a smile on for all PR rather than admit stuff that's failed to meet expectations.

I am sure Mattel put this in laymans terms as saying "budget issues" for a reason. To think we'd fully understand the issues laid out verbatim seems silly. When Mattel does stuff right, this board.praises them - when they cut us some bad news people point fingers, make accusations, and come down on them hard. I get that it's frustrating, but it comes off to me like some people think they know the inner workings and everything about budgets and production. It's goofy to me.

The Andre prototype didn't really look like him, the body was generic... he was unique, his hands were huge

I appreciate being kept abreast bit would like confirmation On the fate of the Andre fig and if we will be seeing that same fig in the legends line. Also curious as to why the ring was cancelled though I'd have only been buying it for the fig.

would be good to know why this is being cancelled though. what's the problem?

I appreciate you letting us know Bill, cheers.
...unlike some other company that just does it without warning...

I like the ones who seem to think they know the inner workings yet say the stupidest things. The morons who say Mattel should take the development/production costs of $50 worth of FlexForce and Rumblers and put them into one $15 Elite figure and keep the Elites the same price are the funniest ones. Completely clueless as to how anything works.

Thats strange why they would cancel it. I appreciate finding out this far in advance. However I wasn't going to buy it anyway, so it's not a huge loss to me.
I do agree that less would be more. I don't want to hear a company say "budget costs" are the reason for getting less with our figures when the Rumblers line is clogging pegs everywhere. Flex Force is supposed to be the kids line and they increased price like the Basics at TRU...Mattel is going to price themselves at retail out of the business if they keep going up like this.

Andre solo release works better for me anyways. yeah me too. I still use my Jakks RSR and I have no intentions of getting a new one unless it breaks.

Andre solo release works better for me anyways. This. I didn't want to have to buy the ring just for Andre. Same here. Plus I don't think I would have had enough room for the ring. BUT I really really want the Andre figure!
