Really, I feel the Steelers need to invest in a secondary. Troy and Taylor are aging, McFadden's just not good and don't even start me on Gay/Mundy. At least Clark's remained consistant. When our O-line's healthy (Starks, CK, Pouncey, Colon and Adams) we're alright. Colon could use replacing, and Flozel's like...really old but...I don't know. I think we need a corner moreso than an O-Lineman. Ben/Mendenhall have made due with what they have, but Green Bay, New England, New York and New Orleans showed us how horrible our secondary is. Steelers also NEVER do big free agency signings, so getting someone like Nnamdi's out of the question. **shrugs** I agree that corner is a big need, but I didn't really see anyone left that would be worth a first rounder. But Burton and Williams, are fringe 1st rounders, so I can give you one of them, if you prefer them over an o-lineman. No chance at Smith or Harris dropping in your opinion I take it then?

Well theres always a chance. But right now, I can't see it. One of them might stink it up in the combine dropping their stock. But even then, I can't see neither of them falling at 31. I think the Steelers would have to move up if they really wanted Smith or Harris.

I forgot to say Congrats to the Packers fans here!
Also, wanted to mention how deserving this Packers team was. Truly, they had to over come odds of astronomical proportions losing their 2nd best WR, best DB and their second best DB just in the SB. They had several other key injuries throughout the season and yet found a way to overcome them and become SB champs. Just crazy.

So how did everyone feel bout the game last night? I thought it was a good game but those refs have to be blind or at least on the facemask call where the guy was holding the jersey.

Why would you have the Jets draft a OLB Jamal? They have no need for one. They need a DE #1, replace Slauson on the line and some help at safety.

I wouldn't mind Pouncey, but I really want a MLB and an OLB. And a RB. And another CB.

Why would you have the Jets draft a OLB Jamal? They have no need for one. They need a DE #1, replace Slauson on the line and some help at safety. That was a tough one. At first I gave you Corey Liuget, but than I realized Houston was still on the board, and hes easily the BPA at that point. Hes probably the best pure 3-4 OLB in the draft, and he would present way too much value to pass up at bottom of the first. And its not like OLB isn't a need. Bottom line is, the Jets need more pass-rushers, and your 3 best OLB's are 30 or older. CB and DE are both very deep in the draft, while OLB isn't. So you could still get a good one in the 2nd. There is no safety that is worthy of a 1st round pick, so no one got one. I wouldn't mind Pouncey, but I really want a MLB and an OLB. And a RB. And another CB. I didn't see a MLB worth a pick in that slot. (very weak class) The only RB I would take in the top 20 is Ingram, and hes gone. My final decision came down to Poncey or Brandon Harris. I ended up picking Poncey for the much needed youth in the o-line. But you can't go wrong with Harris either.

It was his first year. They also have Hunter who stepped in great, that Vlad Decause or w/e his last name is who they drafted. The O line is fine. They do need a defensive line. Ellis is old, Jenkins is a question mark, Pouha and Vito or good but not great. They let Howard Green go and now the guy is on the Packers starting in a super bowl. and why did we get rid of him? For gaining weight. We need a big run stuffer as a nose tackle, which i think was the reason we didn't get to the QB, no one demanded the double team so picking up a blitz was cake. I would go with a safety too or a flashy running back like Tomlinson or Leon washington was, though Joe Mcknight showed flashes and i think he will be used a ton.

I like McKnight. I cant stand Slauson. You say he was ok. I say he was bad and needs to be replaced. Ducasse could be good and I am not saying we need to spend our 1st rounder on a OL.....but DE is what we deseperately need. Unless the guy we want will fall to us in the 2nd, I think we take him in rd. 1 and not ![](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/wfcensored.gif) around.

Yeah you are right we need a beast of a DE. RB i think we are good too since we have LT and Greene along with Mcknight learning behind LT. I guess we will wait and see i think we go defensive pick either way.

I guess it really all depends on what the Jets decide to do. If they go BPA, I don't see how they pass up on Houston. But if they consider addressing a bigger need more important, they could pick a DE.

1 CAR Nick Fairley DT Auburn Rivera hopes he can have a Suh-like presence
2 DEN Da'Quan Bowers DE Clemson Back to the 4-3
3 BUF Von Miller LB Texas A&M Killed it at the Senior Bowl
4 CIN AJ Green Georgia Adios Ocho
5 AZ Robert Quinn LB North Carolina Can you name their starting OLB right now? (besides Joey Porter)
6 CLE Marcel Dareus DT Alabama In a new 4 man front, Shaun Rodgers will clog and they hope this guy'll penetrate
7 SF Blaine Gabbert QB Missouri They have no QB and it seems as though this kid outta Mizzou is on the rise
8 TEN Ryan Mallett QB Arkansas New coach, new Q. I don't think they'll take Locker or Newton
9 DAL Patrick Peterson CB LSU Jerry Jones should consider himself very lucky
10 WAS Cameron Jordan DE California Unblockable at the Senior Bowl
11 HOU Prince Amukamara CB Nebraska I think if these guys had an impact CB, theyd have made playoffs
12 MIN Cam Newton QB Auburn Dont even ask
13 DET Akeem Ayers LB UCLA More defensive help for a team with a very bright future
14 STL Julio Jones WR Alabama Playmaker at the W to match their playmaker at the Q. Theyve got the OTs, theyve got the RB, and Hoomanawanui was a total sleeper. STL will win this division next year
15 MIA Mark Ingram RB Alabama No Ricky Williams? No Ronnie Brown? Bring in the Heisman winner
16 JAX Ryan Kerrigan DE Purdue Derrick Harvey is terrible and Kampman is getting old. Alualu, Knighton, and Kerrigan have the potential to make Peyton Manning very nervous
17 NE JJ Watt DE Wisconsin Can hopefully help to protect against nosebleeds
18 SD Cameron Heyward DE Ohio State Prototype 5 tech to match with Castillo
19 NYG Nate Solder OT Colorado Athletic OT with the potential to grow into a solid starter
20 TB Aldon Smith DE Missouri Too much potential to pass up, especially when figuring he'd be added to the pair of Gerald McCoy and Brian Price
21 KC Anthony Castonzo OT Boston College I dont like Barry Richardson
22 IND Stephen Paea DT Oregon State I think this guy can have Ngata-like success. And not just because theyre both Tongan...okay, not JUST because theyre both Tongan
23 PHI Brandon Harris CB Miami Outside of DAL & HOU, these guys had the hardest time keeping teams out of the endzone when it comes to passing
24 NO Allen Bailey DT Miami Mediocore pass rush doesnt help your SB chances. This guy has a ton of potential
25 SEA Jake Locker QB Washington Hometown boy makes a feel good story. Fills a need as well
26 BAL Aaron Williams CB Texas These guys have had problems against the pass for a while now. They need to find a guy thatll keep Antonio Brown from converting that 3rd & 19 for 58 damn yards
27 ATL Jon Baldwin Outside of Tony Gonzalez and Roddy White, their only other playmaker is Turner. They should hope this guy can change that
28 NE Justin Houston LB Georgia Can hopefully help to protect against nosebleeds
29 CHI Tyron Smith OT USC Freak athlete with freak potential. CHI gave up a league leading 56 sacks last year. Jay Cutler would probly want out if they didnt find a capable OT
30 NYJ Adrian Clayborn DE Iowa I dont think DeVito scares anyone in this league. Pair this guy with Shaun Ellis and Sione Pouha and itll free up the rest of this D even more. Add in Clayborns motor and I dont Ryan'll be able to resist
31 PIT Mike Pouncey G Florida Just seems right I guess
32 GB Leonard Hankerson WR Miami Another guy who had a very good Senior Bowl. I think Driver'll retire

If Patrick Peterson falls to 9, I will poop my pants and post a picture of it on WF. My thoughts exactly. Peterson won't drop past Denver and there is a chance Carolina could take him. In fact Peterson is the BPA in the whole draft.

If Patrick Peterson falls to 9, I will poop my pants and post a picture of it on WF. My thoughts exactly. Peterson won't drop past Denver and there is a chance Carolina could take him. In fact Peterson is the BPA in the whole draft. ill try to explain my reasoning... there is a chance CAR can take Gabbert as well...but I seriously doubt anyone but Fairley will be called 1st. especially considering the fact that Ron Rivera is now the head coach. CAR ranked 11th in defending the pass and 23rd defending the run. SD's defense during Rivera's tenure was fairly balanced. Fairley is the type of player that not only can hold up against the run but collapse the pocket as well, thus improving the pass AND rush defense. as for DEN, they were absolutely terrible against the run last year as well, giving up the 2nd most in yardage and the 1st most in TDs. thats why they hired John Fox and thats why theyre switching back to a 4 man front, with Dumervil going back to DE. i think it would be very stupid to sacrifice Dumervil's success as an OLB if you werent going to pair him with someone like Bowers on the other end of the line. you can find some DTs to clog in later rounds, but you take Bowers INSTEAD of Peterson because Peterson doesnt help you stop the run. also, there are some quality DBs wholl be avaiable in the 2nd as well why does he fall to 9? i think Von Miller made a real impression during the Senior Bowl and showed what kind of athlete he can be, especially as a 3-4 OLB. also, BUF played the pass very well in '10 so why take a DB? CIN has Leon Hall and Jonathan Joseph, one of the best tandems in the league. AZ has Rodgers-Cromartie and cant stop the run. CLE took Haden last year and is also transitioning from an odd front to the traditional even. and SF & TEN have absolute crap at the game's most "important" position. thats why i think he'll fall. this is without factoring in the impending lockout and all the possibilites that accompany it.

Blaine Gabbert = Bust. I literally heard this guys name maybe 2 times all year and I watched college gameday every week and many many college games a week this year. I just dont buy that once he goes to the nfl that he will all of a sudden become great. And CM, just because YOU like McKnight doesnt mean a thing. He is AWFUL. Did you watch Hard Knocks? He didnt even make the active roster for some games this year when he was healthy. We need a running back to compliment greene. Greene prove this year that he is a complimentary back who needs somebody to share carries with. He's not effective by himself, and LT will not be as good as he was at the beginning of this year.
