On the CS Patera figure, JAKKS gave him brown kneepads. My question is, "Did he wear brown kneepads during this time of wearing blue attire?" I can't seem to find any pics of him wearing them and was wondering if this was accurate or not. Any info or pics of him wearing these kneepads would be helpful.
To this day, the Ken Patera figure is one of my over-all favorite CS figures from the line. What are your thoughts of this figure?

I don't think Patera wore knee pads at all. Greg Valentine didn't wear them either but he came with them too. It's a great figure, I agree. One of my favorites I'm glad they made him. I always wanted to buy another one to customize it with blonde hair. Never found one though.

I've seen Ken wear blue and black knee pads, but not with his USA singlet. Most of the time I don't think he wore knee pads.
Overall I think his figure is a great one and more or less on spot. I thought it was a nice touch that JAKKS gave him a barbell set.

I think the body style for Patera was too fat. I made a head swap and put Patera's head on a Swagger body. Much better IMO. I know it is not attire accurate but it is good enough. I also put Hacksaw's head on the Patera body. Similar to the Hasbro style Hacksaw figure w/ the singlet. Again, not accurate but cool.

I remember him not wearing knee pads during his matches.

i liked the figure as it was a perfect likeness of him from summer slam 88 i think it was when he faced bad news brown...the build of him then looked good witht he parts they choose...
me personally i did swap his head on the the hogan type chest mold do do him when he was a little more trim and i put him in the gear his ljn figure had...
but i do like the cs one also and dont recall him having knee pads with that look but i could be wrong.

CS Patera is an excellent figure. It was probably based on his "later" years in the WWF. He was "chunkier" then, and not as cut and muscular when he first came to the WWF scene. Personally, I would have preferred a younger version of Patera, with blonde hair, when he was managed by the Grand wizard.

No, he didn't wear knee pads. Also, the only gripe I had with the fig is that it was too tall. I think the proto had him with the shorter boots which would have been great, but then he came out with the Rocky boots. . . I had to swap them out for a pair of CS 3pack Orndorff boots, so now he doesn't look accurate but his height is more in line. Muraco was a BEAST!!!
