The reason why I see it being Miz vs John Cena for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 27, isn't it obvious King is going to lose to Miz at Elimination Chamber because of either Alex Riley getting involved in the match-up or it will be Michael Cole who costs Jerry Lawler the WWE Title once again, and then John Cena will win the RAW Chamber to main event WrestleMania once again at WrestleMania 27
Like it is so obvious, just when I think the WWE could not be any more predictable than they already are, they do something like this
I know this match will happen especially after what happened during the 2011 WWE Royal Rumble during the 40-man Royal Rumble Match, Cena was eliminated by The Miz who was not even in the match but was on commentary
Come on, WWE, at least make your matches not so predictable that way everybody knows what will happen

I have been watching wrestling for 30 years. It has never not been predictable.

At least in the case of this Cena/Miz match, it shows that WWE was thinking about Wrestlemania well in advance. I'd rather have some degree of predictability than be able to clearly tell that WWE is just pulling things out of their ass on a weekly basis, which quite frankly, happens all to frequently as it is.

But Miz vs Cena, haven't we seen it in the past back when they feuded way back in 2009 when Miz was first drafted to RAW, he feuded with Cena, so for them to face off at Mania 27, it would be the exact same as how it was back in 2009

Yeah, let's give them a match out of nowhere with no build, just to be able to prove that they're no predictable. Wrestling's ALWAYS been that way man. And so what if you saw coming? Who cares? If the match is great will you still be complaining that you "saw it coming"?
This is why some people will never be happy. Instead of enjoying the show and appreciating the fact that they're trying to actually build a rivalry, they complain about wrestling being to predicable.

The rivalry is going to be entirely different this time around. The Cena/Miz feud in the summer of '09 was meant as a bridge for Cena to get back into the title picture while other stuff was going on. It was booked as a squash feud, The Miz got destroyed. He's now a legitimate main event player, and WWE Champion. Cena will win, of course, but it's going to be far from a squash this time around.

You have 3 topics on the front page. How about you settle down for once.
And I do agree that it's obvious, but atleast we are getting a good build up, and hey maybe Morrison will win MITB and cash in at Mania 27 so he can make the match triple threat. :lO

Not everything WWE does needs to come out of the blue and shock us. Not to mention, people claiming that WWE are way too predictable forget that they sit on a forum half the time reading spoilers and discussing every single possible scenario... Half the things people on WF predict are nowhere close to what actually happens (see Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania 26... so predictable that match up was, yet it never looked like happening).

because John Cena always has to be the hero and will never ever look bad on camera. I don't think it is that it is becoming predictable..I just think this is where we are (most of us) too old for wrestling now maybe. WWE has put a big wedge between itself and real wrestling fans.

The Wrestlemania main event SHOULD be predictable! You SHOULD know what the main event is far in advance! They're building it up for a reason! I much prefer knowing what the main event will be in December and having a long feud towards it, instead of bait-and-switch for the sake of surprise.

I'll try and explain the basics of wrestling for you...
Wrestling is an athletic equivalent of a soap opera. Storylines are (supposed to be) built over time and lead towards a much anticipated final battle between two superstars. Cena and the Miz have previously done battle in the past - and that is a great thing! This means that there is substance in the feud as they have previously crossed paths. Therefore, Cena/Miz will interest the current demographic that WWE are marketing their product towards. I don't understand what you are trying to say. Would you rather see the main event of Wrestlemania being Sheamus vs Punk - a random, thrown together feud? If so, I don't think you understand the wrestling industry as a whole. Simply put, this match has build and history. Cena is the most over guy in WWE since the Rock/Austin. He is the hero of the target demographic. The Miz is the anti-hero, a despise villain who can induce negative reactions out of the target demographic (see his title win). Therefore, Cena vs the Miz makes sense, and will sell at Mania. P.S. This wouldn't be my preferred WM main event, but it makes sense.

When things aren't predictable in the WWE, is when they have no idea at all what they are doing, which is never gonna be a good thing. Wrestling maybe predictable, but that is how it should be and always will.
