Would/do you use dead wrestlers in your feds (eg. eddie, benoit, mr perfect, etc.)
I am going to start one, and want to know what i should do. It would be really nice to use some of the former wrestlers, because they have had a huge impact on wrestling, but I do not want to disrespect them.
what should I do?

as long as you're not mocking death and it's used within a time line perspective, I'd say most dead wrestlers are fine. Just don't put them in casket matches or mock the things that caused their death (IE, don't have Benoit taking a ton of unprotected chair shots to the head)

I don't use them currently in my text fed here,BUT that's just cause I have other things going on and don't have the room for any deceased guys there. However,in my long running offline WWE and TNA feds,I occassionally have appearences by some. I just don't look at it as necessary to have someone die in a fantasy/fig fed. I may not use them as much after they pass on in rel life, but I like the fact that their legacys can continue ,albeit in a very small way,in your fig feds. To me its the same as the addage ,"that if you don't forget someone they are still alive ". It pays tribute to them more than disrespects them. I wouldn't make a fed with a very large roster of deceased guys. To me that is just exploitation of the fact that they're dead and being used to get attention. But adding them here or there ,or making a few at a time part of your active roster is perfectly fine IMO.

I don't care if you put them in a casket match so what if they are in one? Everyone dies some time would it be wrong to put anyone in the match because they will die eventually and don't want to offend anyone. I have no problem using dead wrestlers. I'm sure they'd like to be remembered.

Foley didn't dive from the top rope, night in, night out, and land right on his head every time, either..

Foley didn't dive from the top rope, night in, night out, and land right on his head every time, either.. But there are wrestlers that do and nothing happens to them. Also Benoit didn't do that often either. I doubt he kept doing it AND landing on his head because it should have crossed his mind "Hey I keep doing it this way and I land on my head. I think I'll change how I do it. Eh, never mind." Benoit was insane. Not because of wrestling or steroids. He was just a mentally ill person that killed his wife and son.

I personally don't use deceased wrestlers in my fed as I feel kind of weird about it, but I don't have any issue with anyone else doing it. I do use retired wrestlers in my fed even if they are actually unable to compete as long as they are living I will use them. Just my personal opinion.

i dont see any problem using wrestlers who have passed. coarse ljns were my first figures so i've been doing it so long that i never gave it any thought. for instance adrian adonis was gone and i continued to use him years after he died. i feel it's a tribute to them and i dont feel weird about it at all. doesnt make sense to me that you could use say verne gagne because he's still alive but it would be wrong to use andre the giant cause he passed.
