I wonder if we will see Elite & DM 2 packs announced this year, not now but maybe at SDCC, because I'm really scratching my brain to know what if anything new and special Mattel could show at SDCC after this.

Took a closer look at the pics and Kane is holding the SD MITB briefcase which is awesome. However its a different size to the one ted holding. Also, kanes briefcase has the MITB logo on it but it is a bit small. So he should be coming with the briefcase and hopefully the world heavyweight championship.  |

Great showing by Mattel. No real surprises for the Legends/DM lines. Here are my thoughts.
I am psyched about the Undertaker from Survivor Series 1996. I was at SS 96 in MSG. It was a great night but I think the more memorable moment was the Bret vs. Stone Cold and Sid vs. Michaels match.
Michaels went into the Garden as the baby face and he got booed out of the Garden. The majority of the people were chanting for Sid and he pulled off the victory to win his first WWF title. Not a great match but the energy was amazing. Also, kudos to Vince and booking for giving the home crowd what they wanted.
Triple H's head sculpt/scan for his DM figure looks off. I saw a side shot on another site and it looks perfect but head on it is a bit off. I see what they wanted to do with the removable jeans but they are too baggy. I will get the figure for the moment as I was ringside for the return.
Ricky is flawless. Warrior is flawless. I am happy we are getting Bam Bam's gear. Texas Tornado is awesome.
Another note, it seems Mattel has an affinity towards wrestlers performing at MSG. Undertaker, HHH, Texas Tornado, Steamboat (i know it is from his return but he also performed in that attire w/ Kerry in the six man tag)
Also, does anyone know what moment the SCSA DM figure is from?

Although the question now is, what happened to the Rockers? I just want Marty Jannety, so a singles release would work for me I'll get Warrior and glue his mouth shut, that'll give me the snarling Warrior I want I guess if there's no more 2-Packs then they'll be in Series 7 or 8? My guess is that they will still have 2-Packs, but pulled out Kevin and Kerry because they would have set on the shelf. And, will put high profile figures in the next 2-pack series (Rockers, etc.) |

About Eddie's boots if there was any doubt left...  Besides the orange boots, not sure why they used that orangy tan skintone either. Eddie had a white complexion throughout his career for the most part. Jakks used a similar incorrect skintone until they got it right at the end. Nitpicking aside, bring on more Eddies! Cannot wait for the Elite Ryder, Gallows, Miz and Yoshi. I was dreading MVP was going to get that color combo, but at least we're getting one. I dig the 2 color DiBiases. Will definitely pick up the green version. Undertaker and Steamboat are just unbelievable! How the heck are they going to fit Taker in package with that wingspan? I hope they give Steamboat a beefier torso. Otunga reminds me of Armando Estrada. Michael Tarver looks like a black RVD.  Mattel's WWE slogan should be " Just hook it to your veins!" |

It seems they just need to lighten the color of Eddie's boots and it will be perfect.
They do seem to have a problem with that color, a lot of hair ends up orange and now boots...
