I've collected all the Legends, Defining Moments and Entrance Greats. I've seen the 2011 Toy Fair Pics. All of the figures that I have and all of the figures on display are awesome! I really see them as mini works of art depicting my childhood heroes.
However, we are 6 lines in with Legends and Mattel has yet to do a female legend or a manager. Once they get around to these names I know they will be awesome, but how much longer do we have to wait?!?!
Everyone who follows me knows how hard I fought to get JAKKS to do a Sherri figure. At the time I was grateful to JAKKS even though I was not happy with the era they chose when doing Sherri. Now I see Mattel and I know that they could do a great Sherri with her hair down, crazy face paint and one of her dazzling, glitzy dresses. And we need a special Harlem Heat 3-pack with Sister Sherri, too! It would be an amazing figure!
In addition, we need figures of Elizabeth, Bobby Heenan, Mean Gene, Classy Freddie Blassie, The Wizard, Captain Lou, Mr. Fuji, Jimmy Hart, Slick, Paul Bearer, Moolah, Wendi Richter, Madusa, Jim Cornette, Lord Alfred Hayes, Arnold Skaaland, etc..
All of these figures should be made! How much longer do we have to wait Mattel?!?!
BTW: Keep up the good work!

Divas are not on top of their to do list b/c they don't sell. If they don't sell at 9.99 who will shell out 14.99 for one? They said they might make them down the road in the basic series or maybe an exclusive.

I do find that we are getting more repeats of guys than new superstars.

With only 4 to a series I'm afraid a long, long time. 6 was perfect. That's the biggest mistake imo. Only showing 3 at Toy Fair sucks too.

Mattel said in a past interview they were considering putting Lita & Trish in the Legends line. There was no mention of any other girls.
They are even slacking on the current Divas. There is still 8 girls (9 if you count Vickie) we don't have figures of. I was hoping they would have at least shown a couple at Toy Fair but there was none to be seen.

You have to keep in mind, at the end of the day, these are catered toward young boys. How many young boys want to buy an action figure of a girl? It looks really awkward. They don't sell well, so its hard to blame them for putting it lower on their priority list.

These women were wrestlers that were passionate about their craft. They weren't the Playboy Bunnies of today. Second, I'm not suggesting that Mattel stop making Macho Man, Ultimate Warrior, Rock, Austin, etc. The big names sell and they should all be made. But don't tell me that Sherri and Elizabeth figures wouldn't out sell figures of Akeem and Rick Martel. Sherri and Elizabeth are Superstars on the same caliber as many men figures! Third, the same goes for a lot of the manager I mentioned. I think Heenan, Hart, Fuji, Blassie, etc. would be good sellers, too! And a Harlem Heat three pack including Sherri would fly out the shelves!

Companies change, the demographic does not. There is not enough interest this early on for it. Should they get figures? Of course, will it be soon? No. It took Jakks a while, and Mattel has only been doing this for a year. Failed? No, quite the opposite when it comes to good business. Now, if it was a two pack with a popular superstar, no issue there, it should be done, but since they aren't making two packs at all, obviously that's not an option at the present time.

Sherri was not a shelf warmer. I'm not opposed to the women being packaged with men if that's what it takes to get them made. As I suggested, I think a Harlem Heat 3-pack would rule!
Save Gail Kim, Beth Phoenix and Natalya, all the WWE Women wrestlers are Playboy Bunnies. And those that are good wrestlers are treated like crap and are objectified. The fact that the WWE had two story lines poking fun of the weight of Mickie James and later Natalya is a disgrace and shows that the WWE unfortunately does not appreciate good women wrestlers unless they also happen to be Playboy Bunnies.
The majority of the TNA women, including Kong, are good wrestlers. However, TNA doesn't call their women Divas. I was not talking about TNA.

We didn't need a bunch of more repaints. Then we got Eve in Series 11, so maybe they just skipped a series. I don't know, I just hope they hurry up and get more out. We could have some Diva's in 2 pack as well. Vickie & Dolph. Bella 2-pack. LayCool 2 pack.

You named a third of the Women's roster And Kong is in WWE anyways, so your whole "not TNA" thing, is a moot point, cause guess what sparky? She's a WWE diva now. And I wasn't referring to Sherri as a shelf warmer (1 per cases usually are not shelfwarmers simply for the fact... that they're 1 per case). I was referring to all the males you mention, Freddy Blassie, Fuji, etc. ESPECIALLY Blassie. So many of him, good Lord.

The level of rudeness and name calling is really laughable.
I'm just suggesting that Mattel make some women and manager Legends, especially Sherri. I don't think these figures should dominate the line, and I do think they would sell well. I don't think I should be subjected to dealing with immature name calling for making a perfectly reasonable observation.
As for certain posters saying the fact that 1/3 of the female roster at wwe are real wrestlers discounts the theory that most wee women are playboy bunnies just proves my point. By this logic, that means that 2/3 of the roster are playboy bunnies. I think that's sad.

I didn't say 1/3 of the female roster are real wrestlers, YOU named wrestlers, and I said YOU named 1/3 of the roster. 3. What makes them playboy bunnies? That they're pretty? Gail Kim is pretty hot, but she's a wrestler. Someone who was hired for looks? Well, I'd say look at Michelle McCool, she was hired for looks, but at least she's decent in the ring. The problem has nothing to do with who is part of WWE, but how WWE treats the division as a whole (Terribly)

You took what I call just about everyone as an insult? Oh wow... I suppose telling people "not to get their panties in a wad" is another term of endearment that you say all the time as well? What a waste. I regret thinking that I could start an honest discussion here without being maligned. I still think Mattel should make a Sherri figure and I'll keep saying it.

Well, at that point you were already playing victim when no one was saying anything bad, just explaining why its not smart business, so I figured might as well just be honest. You're taking it way too seriously. End of the day, they're still silly pieces of plastic
