I don't think so. It hasn't been made official but the Von Erichs that were gonna be a 2 pack are now in Legends series 6. No news on the Rockers either. It doesn't look good. Hopefully the Q & A will let us know.
Unless Bill from Mattel is still online. Bill?

Doesn't look like it, Kevin and Kerry have been put into Legends 6. So who knows the fate of the Rockers and whoever the 3rd set was going to be

im pretty sure the legends two packs have been canceled, and are now being put in legends waves starting with six. so maybe the rockers will end up being in seven

From what it sounds like buddy the 2-Pack Line is dead and that the Von Erichs and Rockers will be apart of the upcoming later Legends series.

If the two packs are indeed cancelled that is a damn shame. Between bumping each wave down to four per set and getting rid of the two packs.....well, it's really going to suck as I only collect Legends, and the wait for new/more figures is going to be brutal. Mattel really needs to find a way to get more Legends out there.

What they should do for the 2-packs is only make really marketable ones. It's either that or the line dies completely, you know? So maybe they can do The Rockers in the next ones, and then instead of the Von Erichs do LOD in red, or maybe Edge & Christian or something. Just keep it to people who appeal to a wider demographic. And when they get Hogan signed? Hogan/Savage nWo era.

First the case cut-back to 4 and now no 2-pks... it will take FOREVER to get loads of guys released.

they should capitalize on US and do RINGSIDE COLLECTIBLES EXCLUSIVE.. a ROCKERS two pack in their 89 wm5 gear pending Ringside can stay @ retail or close to retail price i know i'd buy two...no more than $35 for it.. that KERRY VON ERICH is AMAZING!! looks just like one of his 92 house shows against the model when he was soo messed up he couldnt even work but he was still over and martel was a pro

I don't know the production numbers, but I can say with Jakks my local TRU never got more than 3 cases of any CS 2-Packs yet with the Mattel Legends 2-Packs they received at least 10 cases. They had the Legends 2-Pack cases sitting on the overstock shelves when they first received them. The last time I was there it was down to about 3 cases left between the pegs and overstock shelf. They had almost 2 cases on the shelf (1 Piper/Orton set & 2 Bushwackers were gone)and 1 full case with none in the backroom. So they did sell at least 7 cases of Legends...but that leads me to think they were overproduced.

Although I'm a little disappointed at the loss of Legends 2 packs, I'm certainly not surprised based on how sluggish sales were at my local TRU (and everyone else's from the sound of things). I think 2 packs in general are going extinct in today's toy market.

Not to beat a dead horse but I really wish they could fix the problem instead of canceling it. PJ is right they shipped too many. The sales were there but when you get 10 cases, everytime they sell out a new case emerges. At my TRU they had a bogo sale on them and they were down to 2 left and 3 more cases got put out.
2 packs have a huge place in this line. Just think how many tag teams, famous matches, and wrestler and manager there were. At this point an online exclusive would work for me. To just scrap it is a huge mistake imo.
It is not are fault they shipped so many but we lose out. I know it isn't official yet but a better solution is needed.

I agree with the less of them made, also makes them rarer, harder to collect and when found is great feeling.

Don't worry, Kevin and Kerry will absolutely destroy Legends Wave 6, lol.
I love the Von Erichs, but they're destined to be peg warmers as individual figures.

I wish they would keep the 2-packs but come out with like Andre the Giant and Bobby Heenan The Nasty Boys The Hart Fondation The Rockers But I guess if they cancel it but put them into the singles I will be happy with that. I wish they would start doing managers though I would like to see Bobby Heenan,Slick,Jim Cornett,Sherri Martel ,Miss Elizabeth,Jimmy Hart.

Just imagine how bad it would've been having to buy Luke and Butch individually. Even though a 2-pack costs $30 and two individuals cost 15 a piece, there is still that state of mind people have when buying pairs. If they're together it makes more sense to buy it. I bet some people (not everyone) passed on Smash because they couldn't find an Ax. Or Hawk because the store didn't have a Animal in stock at the moment. Some people don't hunt for figures, and having to risk not completing a team may keep someone from buying. Even those of us who do hunt have a hard time finding figs. My point is, this could have a negative impact on some figure sales. Nasty Boy Knobbs sitting alone is supposed to look appealing? But the Nasty Boys together does. Call me simple minded, but I think a good deal of people think this way.

I was in New york in November, and was absolutely disgusted with the price of the 2 packs in Toys are Us.
They were $34. I had to draw the line at £22 pound for some Bushwhackers.
They are still expensive on RSC.
Didn't anyone learn from Nikolai Volkoff CS series 5 still being on shelves 4 years after release?
