Noone ever asks them about the snow boot fiasco... it bothers me. its a small detail that shouldnt be over looked. and it keeps me from buying figures. lol I think it is because of all their other problems lol |

Dixie, Taz, Tenay + Hebner figures may be released? GREAT. Would love to expand my collection.
Now all we would need after those are maybe Borash and Hemme XD
Excited to hear about a possible Ultimate X RSR, hopefully with an announcers table

I cant see the second Vid  Put the 1st One sounds not bad at all in my opinion. -Shannon &GenMe getting released this year is great! -Dixie this Year is Great! -Hardys 2-Pack is Great! -Immortal Belt will be awesoem too! -RI = mixed feelings... -Commentators etc. good! -Real Scale with X, will be great too! I am not gonna come on here and bash Jakks. I like Jakks; I have always liked their head scans. I was even willing to over look scale for the awesome head scans they produce. But, the RI news really saddens me. Not to moan and complain, but hear me out:
Jakks put out those horrible TRU four packs for years during the Ruthless Agression run, we also got the Backlash line over and over again. All I was hoping for was 1 to 2 RI sets a year at dollar/pharmacy store levels. What they did with RI this past Christmas season was perfect for me. I undesrtand the draw behind DI and the price point, and all that. But all I am saying is if you can give us Genesis figures, then why not four to eight RI per year? Make them TRU exclusives in sets of four like the current Genesis figures. I don't even care about detail, heck I can paint myself if I just had a base to work with.
I appreciate Jakks even still. I will now say that their Knockouts blow the mattel divas away! Also, Jeff Hardy is a great figure each time Jakks produces him. Those are my pros and cons from toy fair.

I still don't get what the need for so much mystery and secretness there is in the wrestling figure world. There is only ONE company making TNA figures...they have no competition.
Now that Jakks is all Deluxe....Announcers & Refs are pointless.
I'm sorry but "Huge" news to me is NOT another Hardy Boyz 2 pack. I've got 3 of them already (1 being deluxe)

I very much liked the Q&A. I'm glad the dude was honest and he at least knew what he was talking about. That being said, the only things I really care about are RI & LotR. As most of us here on the boards (and you "death to limited articulation" people can argue all you want - there have been countless polls here and RI always beats DI), I want RI style figs and only getting, what, 5 or 6 this year? That's just terrible news.
I'm really glad they did the Q&A. I'm just a little sad that there was more bad news than good.
edit: The news about a possible RSR was good. I would buy it. But that's about it for me it so it seems.

Trying to give the fans wat there looking for? Id really like to see how? for the legends collectors theyve done the closest to nothin that ive ever seen. matt and jeff 2 pack wont be bad for those who want it, but thats the big announcment?? wow, i got money saying they use old scans, theyll prolly put them out as legends, lol. Hey its definalty a possibility, lol, and i quote! We need RI figs, man this needs to be done, alot more ppl will collect tna figs i feel. Still have the NJPW and NWA license but they do nothing with it. 2012 for new Legends??? What the hell?? dissapointment beyond! Its toyfair for god sakes, u should throw it all out there, and they dont at all and havent for lke the last 2 years! As fare as the compettion out there its killing jakks, and i hate it but comeon this is ridiculous, they have the njpw, and the nwa license, how do u mess that up!  Brock Lesnar shouldnt be in the Legends line he isnt a legend?? Wat the hell?? focus on the actual Legends!!!! Legends line of 4 or 5 would be great, it should happend!!! |

Blah. Don't bother doing a Q&A if you're not going to say anything. That Jakks rep was a horrible speaker that felt like he didn't know anything about the product. He looked like a scared child sitting there. I felt bad just watching his awkwardness.

Okay. My turn.
First off, all this shh...isn't going to help Jakks improve this line one bit, Andy. If you want more consumers, spread a little bit with us. It doesn't seem that Mattel (your competitor) had any issues with announcing, much. Pretty poor, there.
Second, Pros, I love the announcement of your upcoming/future releases for Gen Me, Dixie Carter and more Knockouts, Hardy 2 pack, and the Immortal Belt; but I was blown out of my chair when you said upcoming RSR (4 Sided) special. Oh God, please let it be an Ultimate X set.
Even though I'll get a few bad responses here, I'm glad to see that your main focus on the TNA line will be no more that just the DI and CTL set. Legends chase figures inside DI sets...eh, what can I really say since I don't collect those anyway? Goodbye RI, we barely knew thy. ;D
Third to Tom, love your videos, keep them coming!
Forth, Accessories with CTL sets, love the idea. Improving the body molds, make it happen. Another Samoa Joe mold? Why, what was wrong with the first one? I was a bit disappointed with no announcement of any improvements with the scale of some wrestlers. Come on!
I'll give ya credit Andy, you had me laughing pretty hard when you came clean and said "No." to the Micro Impact six sided ring. Just the way you said the answer...funny.
I believe that's all I've got to say; but when it really comes down to it, the set in the background was pretty sad. No look at the figures during the video at all, some were on the ground, rather than standing up. Tisk, tisk. Not to mention that the setup was really small and full of figures that are available now, except for I count at least 4 new ones.You have so many ideas to improve the TNA line, yet you couldn't tell or show us anything about them, besides the usual answer, "Maybe"
You need to work on that, a bit.
One more thing...
If you can't say much about the future figures/sets/etc., just tell me, what in the Hell is it going to take to get Wal-Mart to sell your TNA figures? Any possible chance of seeing this happen this year or the next?

I wish a follow-up question about the RI line would have been asked. After he said it's on hold would have been the perfect time to ask why. Were the sales bad? Do you just not want to have a Walgreens exclusive? Jakks claim they read the boards, but it's impossible to read anything here without seeing the demand for RI is still out there.

It doesn't sound like things are going so well for Jakks. He was really nervous about doing the interview. A lot of "Maybe's". Come on man, I know what "maybe" means. My mom used to tell me that when I was a kid, and I asked her to buy me a toy a TRU. "Maybe" means "No".
Just keep pumping out the legends PLEASE! Give us some NWA figure belts too!!!
