Awesome figure, poor choice. What is Mattel copying Jakks exclusives or what? Flash Rey and this Kane are 10X better then their jakks counterparts, but i want something new.

Ok figure, Body should be bigger, Needs facial hair... But i love the removeable mask and hair... I hope Debut Kane has a removeable mask and wig as well Seriously though , When will we see an actual legends Exclusive??  Thats what I'm saying...I want a legends exclusive of someone from the 80's through mid 90's. Does anyone ever think Ringside/Mattel will let us vote on the exclusive....I mean they give us the choices and we pick its a win win situation |

Are people forgetting Mattel is signed for 5 yrs....... I'm pretty sure we'll see more great figures and different eras, all in all this is a nice looking figure  |

I'm of the perspective of a lot of people who aren't getting this. It's Mattel's typically solid effort albeit missing a few details, but it's one of those rare figures that Jakks actually did a pretty good job on with their take on the figure.
Back during Toy Fair, a question was asked about incorporating Legends into the Elite line to help fill out those lines instead of numerous DiBiase or Orton repaints. I thought Bill said it was something they'd look into. I want a separate Legends line for the old-school guys, but adding modern day legend figures of current stars like Rey, Triple H, HBK, Edge, Christian, Undertaker and Kane (even original Cena and Orton) into the regular elite would be great. This exclusive is exactly what I was thinking. Kane has enough name recognition to sell and kids could still get their semi-current Kane look with the bald head that he didn't have to be an exclusive.
I'd love to see online exclusives really taking advantage of the limited production run that Mattel couldn't possibly sell in stores to get us legends like a David or Mike Von Erich, Larry Zybsko or Doom or Orient Express tag team pack for example.

I was gonna wait to order this but i don't want to risk it being on back-order...i have made the same mistake before so... Anyways i bought one...i on the other hand am not disappointed I love the figure and cant wait to get it! ;D oh please, exclusive Flash Rey says "hi" In all fairness, this is a million times better than the Rey exclusive. Hell I would have rather had this be the first Mattel exclusive over Mysterio. |

I'm going to get it. Im debating whether to get two so I can put a mask on my RA kane. It would have been cool if he came with an IC title instead of chains.

I think all the hype made this figure a let down for some. However, the fact that some people still expected someone other Kane certainly added to their dissappointment |

Yeah the figure itself is pretty damn awesome! i think people just don't like it because its not what they wanted..just because its not to their taste doesn't make it a bad figure at all.

This is the THIRD Kane from this era made as an IE. First one was that Raw Metal figure, which was his first legit unmasked figure (R&R and Max Sweat aside). Then came the Limited one from a few years ago, where they 'forgot' to include his friggin' hair piece. And now, this one. He only had that look for a short while compared to the one-sleeve and original tanktop look, which is strange. It reminds me of the CSDA one Jakks made.   I wish it had a beard, but that's not as big of a deal as the painted on straps. The new boot mold helps, though. The figure looks alright (looks great MOC with the packaging and chains), but I'm personally holding out on a definitive debut Kane...and hopefully an inverted variant figure, which would be the coolest color variant of all time. |

Wow oh wow! I love it! I had a feeling it would be his unmasking and particularly MOC, this figure looks incredible. The cardin is some of the best ive seen for a figure ever particularly the back. Love how it has flames everywhere. This Kane looks great MOC. As for the figure itself, the new boot mold looks fantastic and im glad they captured his tights with the grey flames on them, stood out to me. The only real downer is the wristband not being molded. So great to get an unmaskable kane which actually has the hair included and its one of the best bits! I love how mattel got the details with the mask straps showing through the hair and the mask looks to fit quite well. I expected a figure like this to be a DM sometime but im happy to take it as an exclusive with its own great package and all. Really really like it and now i need 2 of them! Gives me great hope mattel will do well with other masked kanes that surely they will make at some point. He is here and he is great!  I see people have a few complaints, well those people need to consider what decisions the design team would have made and the reason why theyve done what theyve done. If they could, im sure mattel would have sculpted the belts and buckles but people, its an elite. And if you added that articulation particularly to the chest area, the mid section will have significantly decrased articulation and theres no point sculpting the thighs belts if the rest isnt. As for the bottom mask strap, its been excluded because it would be too hard to put the mask/hair on if it was there and truth be told, it would be way too chunky see jakks IE. And sure it would be good to have facial hair for a masked version but its clear mattel want to try and capture the masked and unmasked look. Itd look way too bulky to sculpt the weird hairdo kane had so its best left off. The chains (and house arrest look) suits a clean shaven Kane like the fig is without the mask. I can definitely see these reasons as to why mattel have done what theyve done and im really happy with the outcome. I had a feeling you'd be happy with this. Glad you like it. It really is a great looking figure. |
