Cole/Lawler was good because no one expected it to be a wrestling match or a clinic. It was fine.. Seriously, man? It was pretty damn awful. It was slow as , Cole didn't even know what the hell he was doing and it looked like they didn't even practice for the match, which is what they SHOULD have done this afternoon instead of sucking down coffees. Cole isn't even a wrestler, so they should have taken time to ing plan it. The best part of that match was Cole's outfit. I'll give you that. what the hell did you expect man, I hated that cole was in control for an extended period of time, and that he ended up winning, it was just supposed to be lawler beating the snot out of him like shawn vs. vince at mania 22. but it was entertaining.

I think someone made a comment about how many people don't wait until the show is done to pass judgment. Sure, I'm not giving any time to digest the show really, but whatever.
ONE) Edge v. ADR: Terrible. I think ADR is more than capable to carry the grand title on the B-show, although my main complaint is the placement. Under no circumstance should a show's top title open WM, unless you bring back ECW or something to that extent. The match was also way too short IMO for a world title match, and just overall a disappointment. They could have done a ton with this match.
TWO) Cody Rhodes v. Rey Mysterio: I liked this, but mostly as a Rhodes fan. I still think that first Cross Rhodes reversal was a botched 619, but the duo put on a good enough match. Good result, decent match. Would have been a better opener, IMO.
THREE) The 8-man match: If you don't think this is one of the most embarrassing things ever, I'm sorry. WWE continues to destroy the legitimacy of so many talents. The match was like what, three minutes? You completely bury your tag champs and your IC champ? Just....awful. r.i.p. the corre.
FOUR) Punk vs. Orton: I made my opinions known. I expected Orton to win, and I expected Orton to win via a random RKO. I don't have a problem with him winning, because Wrestlemania is Face-mania. I'm just sick of Orton winning in the same fashion EVERY MATCH.
FIVE) Cole vs. Lawler. Nothing needs to be said. Absolutely embarrassing.
SIX) Undertaker vs. HHH: What can I say? As someone who believes 'Taker should have retired a few years ago, he continues to put on a great WM match. I think the ending was really bad and anti-climatic, but at the end of the day, I just wanted the streak to live on.
SEVEN That match with Snooki vs. Dolph Ziggler and some women: Bad.
EIGHT Miz vs. Cena: Obligatory overwrought entrances. An end that was way overbooked. This card should not have ended with an inactive superstar on top. Sure, I believe Cena and Rock could have a match, but this point, the Rock is an INACTIVE wrestler. It's just....ugh. I like Miz as champion, really. I just think the duo doesn't have much chemistry. Then again, I think Miz is okay on the mic (haters gonna hate), and good in the ring, yet I can't think of anyone that he has had a GREAT match with.
Bleh.

The thing about Cole/Lawler was that they tried to prolong it. There was just no reason for that. They should have skipped to the end and given the extra time to another match. No, I honestly think they had no idea what they were doing or what they wanted to do for that match. They should have had Lawler totally squash Cole in like 3 minutes instead of Cole looking like an ass doing those "Moves". agree with this, it made lawler look like a ing idiot. dancing on top of lawlers leg and then giving him the running tap and lawler selling it too !

You know, I paid for the event. And whether or not the matches were superb, and whether or not it was great compared to other Wrestlemanias, it was worth it to me. To be able to escape for 4 hours with friends and just be kids again enjoying something we love is worth it to me. Mania just takes me back, and for that it'll always be worth it to me. very well put, if you spend the whole show on this forum bashing it, how the hell could you possibly just sit back and enjoy it. Thanks man. I tried to stay away from the forum during the event. I think I may have posted a couple of times inbetween matches, and then several during the main event. But I'm no pro, so I'm not going to pick apart the matches. I watch them, enjoy them, and that's it.

It should have been shorter, yes, but I don't think they tried to prolong it. I just think they had no clue what they wanted to do. No plan.

I did not like the World Title matches. Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio should not have been the opener and it needed 5 more minutes for me to have liked it. The WWE Title match was rushed, but the match started when there was about 25 minutes left of the PPV. At 25 minutes to the PPV, it should have already ended. But, I really liked Wrestlemania. Cody Rhodes vs Rey Mysterio was the match of the night for me, second being Undertaker vs. Triple H and third being CM Punk vs. Randy Orton. I was disappointed that the eight man tag team match was very short. I think Snooki/Trish/Morrison vs. LayCool/Ziggler was longer. I'm surprised Undertaker vs. Triple H went almost half an hour. Loved the finish, the spots, the entrances.
If I could rate this Wrestlemania, I would give it a 7.

I though the show sucked, HHH/taker and Cody/Rey both where good.. Miz/Cena was starting to get good until the countout killed the match.

Punk vs Orton, Triple H vs Taker, & Cody vs Rey were all 5 star matches. Oh, should I have asked you what I thought first? Sorry, sir.

You are nuts. This one ranked up there with 'Mania XI as one of the worst ever, mainly because both main events sucked ass. Thanks for reading my entire post because the very next line said I was kidding. Thanks for playing though.

Rhodes vs Mysterio and Taker/HHH were the only 2 matches that i got excited every 2 count toward the end of each match. Punk vs. Orton was OK but no way was Punk winning and Orton's stale ass winning was predictable. Even the RKO off the ropes was super predicatable. I said to myself, "here comes an RKO" as soon as i seen Punk hit the corner for his springboard clothes line. I would of been happy with Miz/Cena if Miz didn't get punked out by Rock for no reason.

Below average PPV. Besides for Rey/Rhodes, the rest of the card was average to bad. Orton/Punk and Del Rio/Edge were average, and besides for the crowd and one or two sports, Taker/HHH wasn't anthing special(people are already overhyping this match, as their WM17 match was much better). The main event was one of the worst WM main events ever. I wanted to gag after watch the crapfest Cena/Miz put on. This PPV had so much potential, but ended up being flat.

same 3 people bashing mania over and over again, people bash mania every year and it isn't ever as bad as people make it out to be. I enjoyed it but my favorite part was Ryder singing Friday. lmao he is amazing See, this is my qualm. This is Wrestlemania. The best part should not be a ten second segment of a random video clip. It should more than likely be some iconic moment in a main event match.

It wasn't. Lawler shouldn't have even tried. I understand Cole had Swagger in his corner, but he didn't play much of a role himself. They had Cole try and actually get an extended advantage over Lawler, which is the most unbelievable thing about this because Cole is NOT a wrestler. He had no idea what he was doing, and he looked lost as all hell. Snooki performed better tonight than Cole did. Bottom line is, the match shouldn't have gone more than 5 minutes after Lawler kicked the sh*t out of him.
