Overall, I thought it was a pretty entertaining show. Far from perfect, but I still enjoyed it.
-Really didn't care for The Rock's opening promo. It didn't really accomplish anything and it could have been over in half the time if he wouldn't have kept pausing to listen to the crowd. -I was shocked that the World Title match was first, but it made for a solid opener. -Cody/Rey was pretty damn good. Pleasantly surprised that they had Cody go over. People have been making super-villain comparisons with him as of late and I definitely got that vibe tonight. Loved it. -8 Man Tag was a waste of time. -Orton/Punk was much better than I had expected. No complaints with an Orton match makes me a happy camper. -Cole/King was easily the biggest disappointment of the night. I can't believe they actually tried to go the traditional wrestling match route (for the most part) instead of an over-booked sports entertainment-y segment. This was the Hart/McMahon of this show, when I was so hoping it would be the Shane/Vince. -About this time I saw how far we were into the show and assumed that the US Title match has been bumped off. I went to a computer to check and sure enough it was. That was a bummer but at least there were reports saying it might happen so it wasn't as much of a disappointment as the tag match from WM25. -My overall impression of 'Taker/Triple H is positive, but I hated how five minutes into the match they were already selling it like they'd gone through a 60-minute war. And for a while there it seemed like there was at least a minute of pause between every move. But once Triple H started laying him out with the chair and the drama/story of the third act came into play, it was riveting stuff. Loved the extra stuff afterward with Undertaker being worse for wear for once. -6 Person Mixed Tag was another waste of time. I can't believe they never tagged in Morrison/Ziggler. They had 10 seconds to shine and that was it. Snooki wasn't as bad as I'd expected, though. -The WWE Title match won't go down in the history books as being one of the top main events in WM history but it wasn't bad. The same match at any other PPV and you probably wouldn't get any complaints about it. I was ready to go into full on rant mode when they announced the draw ending, because I looked at the time and saw there was only a few minutes left until 11 and I feared they might actually be stuck with that ending. It was cool, though, to see the show end pretty much the way I've been predicting ever since Rock returned.

Im going to SmackDown on Tuesday and I dont even feel like going anymore. Do you ever like anything WWE does. I don't know why you watch when you never actually enjoy it? Stop torturing yourself lol Yes. You must have me confused with someone else. I wouldn't be going to 3 live events in the month of April if I didnt enjoy WWE. I just HATED this WrestleMania. I honestly think it was worst WrestleMania of all-time. Looked good on paper. Looked terrible on TV. I almost drove to ATL for this, so glad I didn't. Even The Rock sucked tonight. Pee Wee Herman was funny though.

Easily the worst WrestleMania, ever. Just downright terrible. "Creative" really need to sit down and PLAN out the future of this company. Crappy 10 minute main events doesn't say "WrestleMania", sorry. - Triple S I don't believe you have seen every WM or you would not be saying this. This way sooo much better than WM 2,4,8,9,11,13 easilly.

Other than the slow matches, I really enjoyed this Wrestlemania. I jumped out of my seat during the HHH/Taker match and Cena/Miz. I loved the fact that Cena lost and Rock closed out the show. Is it the best Wrestlemania? No, but it was pretty enjoyable and I liked it a lot.

I hate how every individual who disliked tonight's show are being lumped together as 'typical IWC bitches' by some of you guys. I like current WWE, it has my favourite roster in years and I wouldn't have stayed up till 5am if all I wanted to do was bitch. Ignore how much you spent on the PPV, because that's irrelevant, and I can't see how WM27 can be considered good at all. Subjectivity must end somewhere. A mixture of predictability , poor match ordering, dead crowd and general WM newcomers really rendered it a let down. I've enjoyed PLENTY of WWE PPV's in the past year (Notably RR, SS and TLC), but I feel this just didn't deliver. THANK YOU BASED GOD

See, I don't have problems with people like you. Never have. Never will. you sure? cause i'm almost certain i've been the lead voice in "this wrestlemania" sucks throughout this thread. i've been called a tool, and a troll, and a bunch of other whacky things in here. I'm sure. I know what type of wrestling you enjoy, and how deeply imbedded into indy wrestling you are. For that, it'll take a bit more than bashing a WWE show for me to lose respect as a fan for someone like you. Sure I thought you were a tool tonight, but you're not nearly as bad or repetitive as most others.

You guys seriously are over exaggerating. "It's the worst Wrestlemaina EVER" "It was the worst PPV EVER."
Seriously?
I think some of you need to sleep on it to be honest.

"Some people just like bitching about everything." Some people just like ripping on people for having a different opinion. Some people liked WrestleMania, and some people didn't like WrestleMania. Get over it. Exactly. I completely agree with you. You didn't like WrestleMania and neither did I really. We've got every right to come here and voice our opinions on what we thought about the event. If some people don't like our opinions, that's just tough sh*t right there. Deal with it and move right along.

So new people at Mania makes it awful? I don't get that logic. And this is what I was talking about with people bitching about predictability. A few matches should have been switched around, doesn't mean it was shit.

The PPV wasn't perfect, but oh well. I liked Del Rio/Edge, Rhodes/Mysterio was good, Lawler/Cole was what it was, HHH/Undertaker got me excited a few times. However, I anticipated Bryan/Sheamus but they bumped it, oh well. Miz/Cena disappointed me, not because it was necessarily a bad match, but the ending sucked. At least it sets up for Rock/Cena (maybe Miz), but that is not what a Wrestlemania main event should be used for, in my opinion.
On a related note, does anyone else who was in the Royal Rumble thread in January remember Mr. Old School saying
Given that he didn't "main event", Del Rio did not lose his spot, and Alberto/Edge was one of the best matches of the night, and Miz did still have his belt. I'm just saying.

This PPV was a huge let down for me. I mean was there even any title changes? The best match of the night for me was Cody/Rey and even that match was suited better for a SD event. You know that feeling every year you get like butterflies in your stomach so to speak for the lack of a better term..well it didnt feel even slightly special to me and possible one of the reason could be because it lacked veterans and the matches were all too damn short and i would have loved a Daniel Bryan/Sheamus match and even Jomo being inserted would have been awesome but no it was completely left off the card for some bullcrapmatch with snooki...i'm sorry but this has to be one of the worst Wrestlemania's i have seen...i really miss Wrestlemania's that just had a better feel to them..i dont know how to explain it but it just didnt do it for me.

Del Rio/Edge, Cody/Rey, Punk/Orton, all of Miz/Cena, amazing hype videos and Rock Bottom on Cena included, the entire (Yes, entire) Cole/Lawler Match and antics, most of Triple H/Undertaker and the Snoop Dogg Talent Search all delivered or over-delivered, in my opinion.
The duds were Bryan/Sheamus getting knocked off for a drawn out Rock preamble and terribly long portion of the show with boring Undertaker/Triple H selling, The Corre losing and being completely buried and the Six-person Tag was too short to judge, though it gets an immediate thumbs up for Trish, more than once, needing to slide her pants upwards, and Snooki wasn't bad at all, either, though not sure pinning McCool instead of Layla was the best way to go.
Overall, I enjoyed it. Really good show with JR and King calling the biggest Matches, which helped them, I think, and if nothing else, was nice to hear them back together at WrestleMania, of all shows. Could have done without the seemingly every-Match barrage of low-impact moves that brought things to a momentary halt, but all in all, good show and glad I ordered.

Some of you guys completely overreacted on the quality of this years Mania. To me at least, it was better than last years and WM 25. They could of easily fit a DB/Sheamus match onto the card, but instead wasted a good 15 extra minutes with the stuff with Cole/Lawler. ADR/Edge wasn't terrible, but I don't like how it opened the show at all. They didn't really build up Del Rio that strong before Mania and he wasn't quite ready to win the title yet. I felt Cody/Rey was a pretty good match. Cody is ready to main event in my opinion. Glad they put Cody over in a competitive match. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this Reys first time losing at Mania? Can't quite remember if he won or lost or not at WM 20. Punk/Orton wasn't bad at all either. The build-up to this match was pretty good. Punk made this made a lot better than it most likely would have been. 8 Man tag was a joke, nothing else needs to be said. 6 man tag wasn't much to talk about as well. Taker/HHH was a damn good match in my opinion. Just a flat out battle that lived up to expectations. Don't like how it was a finisher fest in the end though. Lawler/Cole was bad. Given WAY too much time and the payoff wasn't too good. Felt like this match lasted longer than any other. No need for the back and fourth action whatsoever. All of the Cole/Lawler stuff might have lasted longer than everything involving Miz/Cena/Rock. Miz/Cena was rushed. The match itself could of been done a lot better, but it seemed like they were low on time and had to set aside time for The Rock to come out and do his thing. Really glad The Miz retained and I'm OK with The Rock ending Mania celebrating, good image. Overall, this years Mania was NOT as bad as you guys are saying it is. No one from here wanted Cena to win it or Rock to celebrate with Cena in the end, they didn't, people from here were not happy.

See, I agree with prior WrestleManias being bad... to a point. Those were over 10 years ago and were still better than the 4 hours I just spent.
Honestly, the only good matches on this card were Rhodes/Mysterio, Orton/Punk and Undertaker/Triple H... and two of them weren't even WrestleMania quality.

Not sure how anyone can say this is the worst WrestleMania ever. Here's my rundown of the events:
- Disappointing Sheamus/Bryan got bumped. Not a huge deal for me though. - Edge/Del Rio opening was surprising, but I kinda liked it. Good match, disappointed Del Rio didn't get the title after all his build up. Bit of a let down. - Cody/Rey was what I expected. Very entertaining, 2nd best match of the night imo. Glad to see Rhodes win. - 8-Man Tag Team Match was rushed unfortunately and The Corre should have won. - Orton/Punk was decent, was expecting a bit better tbh. Not a bad match though. - Cole/Lawler dragged on and Austin should have done more during the match. For those who don't realise, Cole was supposed to look terrible. - The Rock backstage segments were great, found them all very entertaining albeit random. Good stuff. - Taker/HHH was great, definite MOTN. Not as good as their WM17 match, and I wasn't keen on all the near finishes as it seemed too similar to HBK/Taker. - Six-Person Tag was satisfying, Snooki got the win which was predictable. Not much to say here. - Really good video packages and entrances for Miz and Cena, especially Miz. - Miz/Cena was really disappointing, and was the thing that let this Mania down the most. Wasn't the fault of Cena, Miz or Rock, the match just felt really rushed and as a result, the ending was flat. Not good enough for a WrestleMania main event but it was nice to see Miz's reign continue. - Surprised we didn't see either title change hands btw.
Matches from best to worst on the card:
Best - Triple H vs Undertaker Rey Mysterio vs Cody Rhodes Edge vs Alberto Del Rio Randy Orton vs CM Punk The Miz vs John Cena Michael Cole vs Jerry Lawler Six-Man Tag Team Match Worst - Eight-Man Tag Team Match (by default really)
