| WWF HeAT: Sunday 18th October 1998 |

Chicago, Illinois - Rosemont Horizon

The opening video package for Sunday Night HeAT aired, and we are live in the Rosemont Horizon for Judgment Day: In Your House in just under an hour! Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole are on commentary for this episode, as they talk about everything they have to cover in this swift hour.
1) Too Much vs The Hardy Boys |

These young Hardy Boys were quite impressive in this one, a big opportunity for both teams, as Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher both know what it's like to be on RAW is WAR, particularly challenging (and losing) for the WWF Tag Team Championships. "Too Hott" Scott Taylor started with Jeff and straight away Jeff outwrestled Taylor using his agility, outrunning Taylor and nailed a big jawbreaker on Taylor. Hardy used plenty of armdrags before making the tag to Matt, and the pace slowed down a little, "Too Sexay" Brian Christopher with an illegal missile dropkick getting Too Much in control. They worked the shoulder of Matt for several moments before Jeff got the hot tag, and in came Jeff with a swinging neckbreaker on Taylor, clearing house before nailing the Senton Bomb for the victory!

Winners: The Hardy Boys @ 4:34 [**1/2]

These bright brothers from Cameron, North Carolina had gotten a great ovation against Too Much tonight, picking up this unexpected victory in a hot opening contest to Sunday Night HeAT tonight! A video package aired, promoting the feud that Dustin Runnels and his ex-wife Terri have had. Terri returned to the World Wrestling Federation last month at Breakdown and sided with the Big Bossman, and after Bossman and Terri seemingly broke Dustin's spirit, it seemed as though Goldust was making a comeback. Tonight, Goldust returns to the WWF to take on the Big Bossman! -- Commercial Break --We see the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Triple H, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws arrive, and D-Generation X were here tonight to win their three matches in a clean sweep, for sure. We go to the office of the Chairman, Mr McMahon arriving in a wheelchair with help from Pat Patterson. Vince was asked if he wanted anything, McMahon telling Patterson some privacy for now. Vince seemed bitter, still mad about Stone Cold Steve Austin breaking his leg two weeks ago on RAW is WAR. Shawn Michaels then joined McMahon in his office, the Commissioner asking Vince how he was. Michaels didn't get a reaction out of Vince, but the "Heartbreak Kid" told McMahon that he had a way of cheering him up, and that's watching the "Gladiator" Mike Awesome destroy Ken Shamrock. McMahon tells Shawn that he only cares about the Undertaker making the right decision and taking the WWF Championship off of that big red intellectually- disabled person. A video package aired, promoting the buld up that led us from Mike Awesome feuding with Stone Cold Steve Austin turning to Mike Awesome engaged in a rivalry with Ken Shamrock. Awesome came to the WWF and immediately sided with the Corporation, and he was hell bent on getting rid of Stone Cold Steve Austin, motivated to destroy him. But when Austin broke Mr McMahon's leg, the match for tonight at Judgment Day was cancelled. But Shamrock, a man who Awesome has met and been a match to the "Gladiator"s rampage in recent weeks stepped in, and is hell bent on breaking Awesome's ankle to put him in his place, and it could happen tonight! 2) Steve Blackman vs Tiger Ali Singh |

This was their third match in three weeks, the rubber match, as both of these men hold one win against the other a piece, Tiger Ali Singh and the "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman's problems starting three weeks ago when Blackman insulted Singh, calling him a poser and an immigrant wanting to love the United States of America to be accepted. Blackman used his feet and tried to get the win numerous times in the opening moments of this match, but Singh used his raw power to toss Blackman around and Steve ended up turning cowardly. Blackman tried to get in cheap shots, and finally struck Singh with the Martial Arts Kick out of nowhere, but Singh kicked out! Blackman tried applying that lethal Guillotine Choke submission but Singh broke out and set up the Hangman's Neckbreaker, Blackman turning around and hitting the Martial Arts Kick again, securing the win!

Winner: Steve Blackman @ 5:03 [**1/4]

Steve Blackman celebrated his win to boos, the fans not happy about the "Lethal Weapon" beating the impressive rookie, Tiger Ali Singh. -- Commercial Break --Al Snow was shown warming up the backstage area as he was talking to Head about how he was sick and tired with these mind games with the Brood, stating how he was here to end it against Gangrel. Davey Boy Smith and Owen Hart were standing backstage with Michael Hayes, and Hayes talks about how it feels like 1997 all over again, because the "Black Hart" and the former "British Bulldog" are teaming up to challenge for the WWF Tag Team Championships! Hayes asks the duo how confident they are. Davey talks about how he came back to help his little brother-in-law get by as WWF European Champion, but now that they are teaming together, they definitely will win the Tag titles once again tonight. Owen went to talk but Davey talked about how motivated they were. Owen seemed annoyed by Davey's condescending attitude towards him, and walked off, Davey wondering what was wrong. 3) Southern Justice vs The Disciples of the Apocalypse |

This feud has been slowly progressing in recent weeks on the syndicated show, Shotgun Saturday Night, as Skull and 8-Ball have taken note of Mark Canterbury and Dennis Knight, and felt threatened by their previous acts to match with the ruthlessness of the Disciples of the Apocalypse. Southern Justice stole the hearts of the fans from the DOA, the crowd not liking Skull or 8-Ball anymore. Skull started with Canterbury and traded blows, this match turning into a bar brawl, and the four men used several double team moves until Dennis Knight got a boot in the face from 8-Ball, and the twin bikers worked over Knight's head. They tried to play up a possible concussion from the big boot to Knight, DOA trying another big boot just for Canterbury to get the hot tag. Canterbury took down both of DOA repeatedly, Canterbury trying the Justice Drop on Skull, but 8-Ball came in with a tire iron, 8-Ball hiding it from the referee, and Skull covered Canterbury for the cheap win!

Winners: The Disciples of the Apocalypse @ 4:15 [*3/4]

The Disciples of the Apocalypse celebrated their win as 8-Ball then struck Dennis Knight in the temple with the tire iron, Skull and 8-Ball celebrating over the unconscious Southern Justice, the DOA getting booed as they left on their motorcycles. Shane McMahon and Test are standing by with Michael Hayes, and Hayes asks Shane for his thoughts and why he's wanted to take over the RAW announce table. Shane tells Hayes that it's what his father did when he was an announcer. And his son wants to follow the legacy. He's brought his friend Test in, not only as backup or a hired gun, but to help himself and the Corporation. Test has all of the promise, all of the power, and after tonight, where Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are left unconscious and out of a job, tomorrow night on RAW is WAR, it won't be good ol' J.R. and the King on commentary, it will be brand new Shane O'Mac and Test! -- Commercial Break --We return to HeAT as we are shown a history of the rivalry between the two factions, D-Generation X, all full of humour and edgy antics opposing against the dominant, classy and cool Nation. The Nation targeted DX for faction dominance before SummerSlam, and the two teams brawled in every arena visited by the World Wrestling Federation. They traded offence, as the New Age Outlaws lost the WWF Tag Team Championships to Mark Henry and the Godfather, whilst Triple H won the WWF Intercontinental Championship from D-Lo Brown. However, at Breakdown three weeks ago we saw Chyna after being attacked, and everybody had reached the conclusion that it was a member of the Nation that attacked her. Chyna hasn't been seen since, and Triple H wants Rock's head on a silver platter. Those two, tonight face for the IC title in a Two out of Three Falls match. Meanwhile, the Outlaws want their belts back, but have to share contention with Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith, and they face off against each other as well as Mark Henry and Godfather tonight. And lastly, D-Lo Brown was convinced he was cost the Intercontinental Championship thanks to X-Pac two weeks ago on RAW is WAR in a Steel-Cage match, leading to D-Lo wanting to get some retribution. These three matches all happen tonight at Judgment Day! Rob Van Dam and Sabu are shown warming up in their locker room as the returning Todd Pettingill tried to get in a word with the two extremists that have climbed the ladder, before their hardcore tag match with Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal. The "Whole F'N Show" talked about how he doesn't see why the Corporation has such a problem with them, perhaps jealousy. RVD tells Pettingill that him and Sabu are out tonight to score the lovely Debra and woo her clothes off. He says that Jeff Jarrett can eat a Van Terminator, and Steven Regal may be a great wrestler, but hey, he's no Rob...Van...Dam! 4) Al Snow (w/The Headbangers) vs Gangrel (w/The Brood) |

This whole feud started several weeks ago when Gangrel had an encounter with Al Snow, and Christian managed to beat Snow on RAW is WAR. The Brood formed together afterwards though, and doused Snow in a bloodbath. They also gave the Headbangers, Mosh and Thrasher a bloodbath the next week on HeAT after they tried to get involved and make the save for Snow. Snow went into this one bitter, and with six men around the ringside area, a lot of carnage was to go down, ten minutes before Judgment Day began. Gangrel tried to end things early, the Impaler DDT reversed, and Snow knocked a lot of sense into Gangrel, Edge and Christian trying to get involved just for Mosh and Thrasher to attack them! Four men brawling at ringside, the official got distracted, and Snow gave Gangrel some Head, getting the win!

Winner: Al Snow @ 4:23 [**]

Al Snow celebrated his win as he gave Christian some Head as well, Edge giving Snow a big spear! The Brood beat up on Snow but the Headbangers got in the ring, running off the Brood! Gangrel, Edge and Christian were left on the aisleway, as Kevin Kelly and Michael Cole plugged their newly made six-man tag team match, later tonight at Judgment Day! A video package aired to end off the show, cycled around the Mankind and Kane feud that has been set up as a test for the Undertaker's loyalty with the Corporation. 'Taker showed biaseness towards Kane for the past two weeks, but Mr McMahon made the "Deadman" fight Kane for the WWF Championship the night after Breakdown, McMahon not liking the "Big Red Machine" in the Corporation at all. The Undertaker's loyalty with Kane and with the Corporation will be tested when he has to officiate Kane vs Mankind for the WWF Championship tonight; Mankind's dream to be fulfilled? For the Brothers of Destruction or the Corporation for the "Deadman"? It will all be answered tonight! Sunday Night HeAT went off the air.

So glad to see this masterpiece brought back. I'd love you to keep going and going and going....
Surprised to see Hardys go over Too Much, but I guess its time to start the push for them. Pumped for the much needed return of Goldust! Funny Vince/Michaels interaction...love the Kane comment. I never really found Singh interesting or entertaining, so I am really happy to see Steve Blackman score the victory here. Some trouble brewing for the tag team of Owen/Bulldog, wonder if that will lead to some mixed communication later on the evening. Honeslty, neither of these tag teams are really doing it anymore. But, you need midcard feuds for a reason I guess. What an awkward tag match planned, but I like the feel of it and I think it will deliver entertainment wise. Solid main event for HeAT...really looking to see what you do with the PPV. I cannot wait to see and read Dan...will give a reply when you post!

| WWF Judgment Day: In Your House - Sunday 18th October 1998 |

Chicago, Illinois - Rosemont Horizon

The opening video package for the pay-per-view aired, and it was aimed all around the art of unity and loyalty. In this, it focused on Mike Awesome's unity to Shawn Michaels, and how much he wanted to kick Stone Cold Steve Austin's ass just for him to get fired. It also highlighted the D-Generation X and Nation rivalry, and how it was Triple H who wanted to step up and aid his injured best friend Chyna against the Rock for Rock supposedly attacking Chyna and taking her out. And lastly, it was the Undertaker who had to decide which way to turn, his family, Kane, or the Corporation and Mr McMahon! But also, destiny for Mankind to win the WWF Championship! The opening graphic aired, and we cut to the live Rosemont Horizon for Judgment Day! Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler introduced us to the show and ran down the card. Mr McMahon made his way out to the arena to loud boos, the Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation restrained to a wheelchair, wheeled out by Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco. McMahon was helped down to the ring, wheeled to the announce table where he asked J.R. and the King how they were. They reacted with hostility, not appreciating McMahon for his son's antics in recent weeks. D-Lo Brown

X-Pac and D-Lo Brown were here to start off the D-Generation X and Nation war here tonight, as the degenerate started things off with several high-impact kicks to the face of D-Lo Brown. Brown ended up fleeing from the ring, and this whole thing came about when X-Pac cost D-Lo Brown the WWF Intercontinental Championship on RAW is WAR two weeks ago in a Steel-Cage match. Brown pounded away at X-Pac after X-Pac missed a suicide dive, Brown stomping away at X-Pac and applying a headscissors, X-Pac not being allowed any air to breathe, and this is exactly what made D-Lo a deadly WWF Intercontinental Champion in his near four month reign. Brown wouldn't stop beating down on X-Pac, keeping him down and in a front facelock before dropping X-Pac with a DDT. Brown almost got the win, and Brown wanted to go after the head of X-Pac, almost as if he wanted to give X-Pac a concussion. D-Lo continued the battle, gutwrench suplex sending X-Pac almost half way across the ring. X-Pac tried to get some fight in though, as X-Pac dropped Brown with a flapjack right onto the announce table, and this did not go down too well with the Chairman, Vince McMahon on commentary. X-Pac crotch chopped McMahon before continuing the comeback, X-Pac sending D-Lo into the steps and D-Lo tried to get away from the DX member! X-Pac clotheslined D-Lo in the corner before backing away and preparing the Bronco Buster, Brown with a foot up and it struck X-Pac right in the breadbasket! Brown came out of nowhere with the Sky High, X-Pac somehow kicking out! D-Lo tossed X-Pac into the ropes but X-Pac ducked a clothesline, springing off the middle rope and he dove with a crossbody right into another Sky High for the win!

D-Lo Brown celebrated his win to loud boos, in a decisive opening contest, X-Pac remaining down, and D-Lo rolled out of the ring, the fans not too pleased with the outcome. D-Lo yelled that everybody better recognise the power of the Nation, and this was only our opening contest, two other D-Generation X/Nation matches still to come plus three titles on the line! The Undertaker was shown arriving at the Rosemont Horizon in between the end of Sunday Night HeAT and the start of Judgment Day tonight, and the "Lord of Darkness" wasn't too pleased looking, the "Deadman" having to decide between Kane and Vince McMahon: McMahon stating that he counted on the "Lord of Darkness" to make the right decision. In the backstage area we see the Big Bossman and Terri standing side by side, and they both seemingly pretty hyped up, as Michael Cole asked them for their thoughts on this encounter tonight with Dustin Runnels, or whoever 'He' is. Terri talked about how she was married to this creep for many years, and he was such a narcissistic idiot that had questionable sexuality. She was there in his corner when he was stripped to his female panties in front of over 15,000 fans at the Arrowhead Pond at WrestleMania XII. And tonight, the Big Bossman would wipe the floor of this disgrace called Dustin Runnels. Bossman talks about how he accepts Dustin for his originality, but he's stalking Terri, and when Terri's associated with the Corporation, that does NOT go down well with him. 2) Hardcore Tag Team Match Steven Regal and Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) vs Rob Van Dam and Sabu |

A hard-hitting match was up ahead, as Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal have represented the Corporation in so many ways since its original formation in the Summer, ever since after SummerSlam though, "Double J" and the "Lord of Lords" have been dissatisfied with Rob Van Dam and Sabu coming over to the World Wrestling Federation despite Mr McMahon being the one to sign them. McMahon revealed that he's never voiced his own opinion, noting that he wanted to tone down the ECW alumni because the ways of Paul Heyman were disgraceful. He continued to call Rob Van Dam and Sabu solid talents - at weapon fights. He wanted to tone them down and make them learn how to wrestle. Regal and Sabu started, as the "Lord of Lords" clubbed away at the "Arabian Nightmare" until Sabu reversed it and delivered numerous chops to the chest of the British wrestler, Regal trying to get back up just for Sabu to use some kicks and then delivering a springboard legdrop from the second rope! Sabu immediately rolled out of the ring and grabbed a steel chair, Sabu with a dropkick from the top rope, chair underneath Sabu's feet and they flew right into the face of Regal! Jarrett got the tag and both men got into a tug of war with the chair with Sabu, Sabu ramming it into the ribs of Jarrett and tossing it right into "Double J"s face! Jarrett managed to grab an acoustic guitar from Debra though, and Jarrett swung it right into the ribs of the flying Sabu as he tried a springboard crossbody. Jarrett went to work on the leg of Sabu, keeping him away from the "Whole F'N Show" and Regal and Jarrett took it in turns working over the leg of Sabu. The Chairman McMahon praised the two superstars for their technique and technical ability, Jarrett with the Stroke connecting but RVD came in and picked up the chair, a spinning kick with the steel chair! J.R. called it the Van Daminator as Jarrett fell to the canvas, Sabu limping to his feet and diving out at Regal on the floor! RVD went up and landed the Five Star Frog Splash as Sabu limped back into the ring just for Debra to pull on the foot of Sabu! Sabu dropkicked her away and Jarrett sat up in shock of that, kicking Sabu plainly in the bad leg and applied the figure-four leglock! Sabu rived in pain before RVD came in with a split legged moonsault on Jarrett! Sabu finally got the tag to RVD and "Mr Pay-Per-View" kicked Jarrett head off with a solid super kick. Van Dam made Regal eat a spinkick as he fell down into the corner, and Van Dam set up the chair in front of Regal! Van Dam went up to the turnbuckle opposite from the downed Regal, and dropkicked him post-to-post into the face with the chair! The fans chanted 'holy sh*t' as J.R. proclaimed that this was the Van Terminator! Van Dam covered Regal and got the win.

Winners: Rob Van Dam and Sabu @ 12:37 [**3/4]

Rob Van Dam and Sabu celebrated their win as the "Whole F'N Show" and the "Arabian Nightmare" were quite pleased with their win against the Corporation. Steven Regal was helped out of the ring by Jeff Jarrett, the official and Debra as Regal was bleeding from the nose following that Van Terminator. Mr McMahon talked about how RVD and Sabu visibly learned nothing from this rivalry. Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown walking through the crowd, and Mr McMahon was going irate on commentary about how the "Texas Rattlesnake" was out here despite being unemployed for no reason whatsoever! McMahon reminds us that he fired Steve's ass last Monday night on RAW is WAR, and that he shouldn't be here, but Austin held up his ticket, and it didn't seem as though the "Texas Rattlesnake" was going to be leaving the front row! A replay from Sunday Night HeAT was shown as it was Al Snow taking on Gangrel when the Brood and the Headbangers started going at it, and Snow, Mosh and Thrasher got the upper hand. It was revealed that a six-man tag team match was to be added to the show. Marilyn Manson came out from the backstage area, the band all here to present their performance to bring out the Headbangers and Al Snow, the fans in Chicago, Illinois all hyped up for this one! The band performed "The Beautiful People" and brought the Headbangers and Al Snow out to the ring as they were about to officially face the three members of the Brood momentarily. 3) Six-Man Tag Team Match Al Snow and the Headbangers vs The Brood |

An interesting six man tag team match as the fans were all hyped up here in Chicago after Marilyn Manson had just played. Al Snow started things off with Gangrel, the man he fought earlier tonight on Sunday Night HeAT when the brawl started, Al Snow catching Gangrel off-guard with several powerslams and dropkicks before bringing in the Headbangers. Mosh and Thrasher got in many dropkicks on Gangrel, as Mosh soon scoop slammed Gangrel and went up for the Stage Dive just for Christian to get up and shove him off the top rope! Mosh was crotched, and Gangrel power clotheslined him off the top rope, Gangrel stomping away at Mosh and keeping him down before tagging in Edge, who stomped away at Mosh as well, then delivering an enziguri to him. The Canadian older brother of fellow Brood member Christian keeping Mosh under his control and ensuring that he was down on the canvas as much as possible. Edge worked over the shoulder of Mosh until Edge tagged in Christian, and the two brothers gave Mosh a double suplex, then followed up with a double DDT. This Brood trio had some great potential and talent, as Thrasher rived for the tag. Mosh soon dodged the reverse DDT by Christian and Thrasher got the tag, and he ran in with a flying dropkick, Thrasher then giving Edge a hurricanrana and Gangrel suddenly cut him right off with a clothesline! Gangrel set Thrasher up for the Impaler DDT just for Al Snow to come in, the Snowplow on Gangrel connecting! Edge gave Snow the spear before Mosh came off the top with a hurricanrana! Christian then gave Mosh the reverse DDT and Thrasher ran into the Unprettier for the win!

Winners: The Brood @ 8:25 [**1/4]

The Brood celebrated their win as Gangrel, Edge and Christian rolled out of the ring, Al Snow running around the ring with Head, Snow irate with his loss tonight alongside the Headbangers! Edge, Christian and Gangrel had impressed a lot of people here tonight. A video package aired, and it ran through the history between Dustin Runnels and the Big Bossman. Dustin Runnels was once known as Goldust, and paired with wife, the beautiful Marlena. But once Goldust started turning bitter and became the Artist Formerly Known As Goldust, he turned his back on Terri (Marlena), his kids and every interested fan of his in the World Wrestling Federation. Dustin Runnels soon became a respectful wrestler, fighting for the justice in the WWF and doing everything that was right, having become a born-again Christian. But when Terri Runnels returned to the World Wrestling Federation, the Big Bossman recruited her to the Corporation, and Terri further tormented Runnels to the point that he dodged appearing on RAW is WAR and Sunday Night HeAT. Instead, ominous video packages aired to haunt Bossman and Terri, arranging that 'He' would face Bossman and it would be his Judgment Day tonight! 4) Goldust vs The Big Bossman (w/Terri Runnels) |

Goldust returned tonight, and he went right into this one with lefts and rights showering down on the Big Bossman, as he was filled with so much rage that his ex-wife was walking around with the Corporation's likes, wearing sluttier clothing every single week, and flirting with other men whilst wearing the wedding ring of Goldust. Goldust nailed Bossman with several lefts and rights, not allowing Bossman any air and he was just too angry. Goldust tried to aim for a low blow known as the 'Shattered Dreams', but Bossman kept getting out of the ring and getting in some body shots. The Big Bossman slammed Goldust and dropped a big knee over the head of Goldust, Bossman trying to out perform the bizarre one. Goldust managed to get back up though, and he nailed Bossman with a jawbreaker, Goldust then with several uppercuts and he set up for the Curtain Call, Bossman getting out of it and dropping Goldust with the sidewalk slam! Bossman tried to cover Goldust but he kicked out! Bossman looked annoyed as he stood up and prepared a second one, Goldust sending Bossman into the ropes, almost knocking Terri out as she was on the apron! The official was distracted and Goldust gave Bossman the Shattered Dreams, hooking the legs for the win!

Winner: Goldust @ 6:20 [*3/4]

Goldust celebrated his win as the crowd cheered, Terri Runnels looking really annoyed with what had just happened, walking out on the Big Bossman, and Goldust grinned mischievously, Mr McMahon talking about how it wasn't Bossman that cost the match for himself, it was Goldust and it was Terri Runnels! McMahon mentions the amount of conspiracies we have seen in recent months, Goldust and Terri IS the conspiracy! A replay from earlier tonight aired, and we are shown the interview that Michael Hayes had with Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith, Davey Boy talking about how they'd win the WWF Tag Team Championships in tonight's triple threat tag team match with the Nation and the New Age Outlaws, the "Black Hart" not looking too impressed with his brother in law suspiciously. The New Age Outlaws were shown in the backstage area, as Billy Gunn and Road Dogg were being asked about their motivation in tonight's match by Kevin Kelly. The New Age Outlaws talked about how they've not been WWF Tag Team Champions for over a month and a half, but everybody will see in given due time! The Outlaws talk about how they gained respect for Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith past Monday, but now they're somewhere they don't belong, and they certainly don't belong in the Nation and D-Generation X feud! 5) WWF Tag Team Championships - Three-Way Tag Team Match Mark Henry and The Godfather (w/Rikishi Phatu) (c) vs Davey Boy Smith and Owen Hart vs The New Age Outlaws |

Definitely not expected to be a walk in the park for the WWF Tag Team Champions, Mark Henry and The Godfather, and so the two Nation members brought out their larger ally, Rikishi Phatu, currently restrained from action with a broken wrist as Phatu wore a cast and stood at ringside. Two men were allowed in the ring, and any superstar from any team could tag in an illegal man. Sudden death rules in this one as well, and "Sexual Chocolate" kicked things off with Davey Boy Smith, Smith countering Mark Henry's powerhousing moves with power and agility, shoulder block taking Henry right off of his feet! Davey Boy tagged in Owen Hart, and the "Black Hart" exchanged shots with Mark Henry, eventually taking Mark down with an enziguri, Mark Henry tagging in the Godfather and he caught Owen with a fall away slam, the brute on the star of Godfather proving to everybody why he was a WWF Tag Team Champion. Godfather then slapped "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn in the face, and in came Gunn legally. Gunn went in there and traded blows with Owen Hart, Hart giving Billy a half-crescent kick, followed up by dropkicking Road Dogg off of the apron! Gunn was covered, Road Dogg then getting into the ring and giving Owen Hart a pumphandle slam! Gunn stomped away at Hart and kept him down, the headlock applied just for Owen to run Billy into Mark Henry, and Owen had just saved himself from a headlock to get a beating from "Sexual Chocolate". Owen tried to fight back but Henry's power just caught Hart off-guard. Henry gave Owen Hart a powerslam before setting up the Big Splash and connecting, but Davey broke it up and delivered an amazing Running Powerslam to the awe of the capacity crowd! Owen covered but Road Dogg got in, kneedrop to Owen, and the New Age Outlaws set up the Spike Piledriver, Owen breaking out and giving Jesse James a big superkick and Gunn got the tombstone piledriver! Hart applied the Sharpshooter on Gunn but he wasn't legal, even though he was tapping! Owen looked mad, and McMahon on commentary praised Owen for his show of ability right here. Smith got the tag from Owen and got in the ring, preparing the Running Powerslam on Mark Henry again but "Sexual Chocolate" blocked it, Owen then getting in and taking Mark Henry out with a hurricanrana headscissors! Owen suddenly gave Davey Boy the tombstone piledriver and rolled out of the ring, the crowd hissing as Vince McMahon called this genius on the part of the "Black Hart"! Billy Gunn tried to give Mark Henry the Fame-Asser just for The Godfather to run at Gunn with the Ho Train, Mark Henry with the Splash on Davey Boy for the win!

Winners and STILL WWF Tag Team Champions: Mark Henry and The Godfather @ 14:16 [**1/4]

The crowd booed as the Godfather and Mark Henry escaped the ring from the New Age Outlaws, standing all angry. The Nation had escaped with the WWF Tag Team Championships again here tonight, and Owen Hart stood at the top of the rampway, the "Black Hart" having turned his back on Davey Boy Smith before our very eyes! We see the "Brahma Bull" in the backstage area as The Rock was asked by Kevin Kelly about his thoughts just moments before stepping in the ring with the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Triple H. The Rock talked about how Kelly is a fat little interviewer and doesn't really deserve to find out that that he has an interview, and he kicks Kelly off of the camera! Rock talks about how it is Rock's time, and tonight he wipes the floor with the leader of D-Generation X. Rock asks what people call Hunter, "The Game"? More like a god damn superhero wannabe! Rock tells us that tonight he will have the Rock Bottom, and he will have the People's Elbow, and Triple H will wind up with a headache in the morning and he will be without his bitch Chyna at his side to sex him up! If you smell what the Rock is cookin'. A video package aired, previewing the upcoming two out of three falls match between The Rock and Triple H for the WWF Intercontinental Championship. The Rock alongside Mark Henry, Rikishi Phatu and the Godfather of the Nation were victorious last month at Breakdown against X-Pac, the New Age Outlaws and Chyna, as Triple H managed to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship from D-Lo Brown. But it all came about following Chyna mysteriously being attacked prior to the IC title match. Hunter liked to believe that it was of The Rock's doing, and targeted him, defeating Rock live on RAW is WAR one week, but Rock fired back, amongst the Nation and D-Generation X rivalry. And tonight, both men fight until one man has scored a fall on the other...twice! 6) WWF Intercontinental Championship - Two out of Three Falls Match Triple H (c) vs The Rock |

The fans were cheering the "Brahma Bull" as we went into this one, Rock very popular with this capacity crowd in Chicago. Triple H wasn't too pleased to see the leader of the Nation though, and he met Rock on the rampway before the match. Hunter blamed the Rock for attacking Chyna three weeks ago at our last pay-per-view presentation, Breakdown: In Your House but there was no evidence as of yet that he had done it. The Rock stomped away at Triple H though, the battle going back and forth as the pace to the match in the opening minutes were lightning fast and sudden. Rock sent Hunter out of the ring and continued the brawl at ringside, Rock sending Hunter into the steps, and Rock was really trying to calm down the "Game", to slow him down and keep him slow. Triple H though, fired back with several lefts and rights despite Rock's sleeper hold attempt, you had to win two falls in this match to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and Rock didn't seem to want to give up in this one. Hunter delivered several chops and applied the figure-four leglock, Rock trying to reach for the ropes but Rock ended up twisting the hold over and Hunter ended up on his front. The crowd cheered Rock throughout still, the crowd very 50/50 in this contest. Triple H soon gave Rock a facebuster into the knee and followed it with a spinebuster, Hunter setting up for the match-closing Pedigree just for Rock to follow through and drop Triple H with the Rock Bottom, getting the win!

The Rock: 1, Triple H: 0

The match continued as the "Brahma Bull" stomped a hole into the head of the WWF Intercontinental Champion, Rock talking trash to Hunter in between his stomps, Rock then deciding to pick Triple H up and give him several lefts and rights, Hunter missing a clothesline and Rock giving him a big back drop! Rock dropped Triple H on the back of his head and the "Brahma Bull" hooked the legs for a very near fall! Hunter fired back up and gave Rock a big back body drop out of nowhere. Hunter was hell bent on retaining the WWF Intercontinental Championship tonight, and so it all came down to if Triple H was in a fitter condition than the Rock on this very night! Rock gave Triple H a right hand but Hunter fired back with a clothesline! Triple H dropped Rock with a piledriver out of nowhere, then getting the cover just for Rock to get his foot confidently on the ropes! Triple H prepared the Pedigree but just like last time, Rock reversed it and attempted the Rock Bottom! Triple H turned it into a DDT and prepared the Pedigree again, Rock instead with a big spinebuster and Rock set up the People's Elbow! Rock would bounce off the ropes and be about to drop the elbow when suddenly Triple H rolled out of the way! Hunter gave Rock the final Pedigree for the sudden three count!

Triple H: 1, The Rock: 1

And so we were one apiece, in this rubber match fall to determine who was the better man and who would leave Judgment Day as the WWF Intercontinental Champion. Both men now weary, Triple H picked the Rock up and Rock reacted with an eye rake, Rock tossing Hunter all the way out of the ring. The Rock climbed out of the ring with the "Game" as Triple H and Rock traded blows at ringside. Hunter and Rock got back into the ring and Rock trying a flying clothesline and took out the referee! Triple H was then given a right hand knocking him down to the canvas, and the leader of the Nation left the ring to go and grab a steel chair and the WWF Intercontinental Championship belt! Rock set up for a big chair shot to the skull of Hunter but the champion gave Rock a spinebuster! Triple H gave Rock the title to the head, that belt bouncing off the head of the "Brahma Bull", and the leader of DX was signalling for the end! Rock slowly got up as Hunter prepared a Pedigree onto the steel chair, Rock with an illegal low blow, official still down, and Rock cracked Hunter in the head with the steel chair! Rock prepared the People's Elbow and connected, but suddenly Chyna made her way down to the ring and picked up the steel chair, the "Ninth Wonder of the World" having made her return to the World Wrestling Federation after being gone for nearly a month, and she gave Rock a chair shot to the head! Hunter gave Rock the Pedigree, and that was it!

Winner and STILL WWF Intercontinental Champion: Triple H (2-1) @ 20:51 [***1/2]

Triple H celebrated his win as the crowd applauded him here in Chicago, Illinois, and Chyna stood at his side, both of them united once again as D-Generation X. The "Ninth Wonder of the World" handed the "Game" the WWF Intercontinental Championship, and they hugged it out! D-Generation X may not have been successful tonight in other matches, but they still had the IC title and Chyna back! Mankind was interviewed by Michael Cole as Mankind was asked about his chances that the Undertaker will choose the Corporation and give Mankind the win and the WWF Championship. Mankind talked about how he personally didn't care what the "Lord of Darkness" does. Mankind tells Cole that he's not a member of the Corporation, or the Brothers of Destruction, and quite frankly him and Mr Socko don't give a damn! Mankind talks about how Socko may be deemed useless tonight against the masked "Big Red Machine", but what if he gives Kane a little unmasking? That'd be a nice surprise! Mankind says that he can't wait to win the WWF Championship, and Mr Socko will be the the first man to hold it! Have a nice day! We see Michael Hayes trying to catch up with Davey Boy Smith as Smith was asked about the situation with his brother in law, Owen Hart. Davey says that he's mad, he really thought they were the best of friends. For three years they've been the best tag team in the World Wrestling Federation, former WWF Tag Team Champions, and they could have been WWF Tag Team Champions again tonight, but Owen Hart's head is obviously lost! Davey says he's hot, but he's going to calm down and talk it out with the WWF European Champion tomorrow on RAW is WAR. Mr McMahon was shown at ringside as he had a microphone in hand, sitting beside Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler from his wheelchair, and Vince talked about how next month is the Survivor Series, and when Kane has lost the WWF Championship, we will have to crown a new WWF Championship number one contender. And this is why, the next match between Mike Awesome and Ken Shamrock will have the winner become the new WWF Champion, and will face Mankind or what's in the very little odds, Kane next month at the Survivor Series! McMahon finishes off by revealing to Stone Cold Steve Austin in the front row that if he was to get involved in this match, then he'd be escorted from the Rosemont Horizon and banned from all WWF shows in the future! Austin grinned from the front row, raising a cup of beer to Vince McMahon! We see several clips of how this rivalry turned out between Ken Shamrock and Mike Awesome in recent weeks, the "World's Most Dangerous Man" testing the strength and raw power of the "Gladiator", engaging in several brawls over the past few weeks, Shamrock even giving Awesome his first loss two weeks ago on RAW is WAR. And with Stone Cold Steve Austin; Awesome's original opponent for this show fired last week, Shamrock stepped in and challenged Awesome to this match tonight, now a contender's match! 7) #1 Contenders Match Ken Shamrock vs Mike Awesome (w/Shawn Michaels) |

An even match lined up, the number one contenders stipulation only added moments ago by the Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation, Mr McMahon. Shawn Michaels accompanied Mike Awesome to the ring tonight, the Commissioner absent from last Monday's RAW is WAR, and Ken Shamrock was desperate to upset the "Gladiator" a second win, another win under the belt of the "World's Most Dangerous Man", but also giving Shamrock another WWF Championship opportunity perhaps. Shamrock took Awesome down several times in the opening minute before Awesome fired back, using his higher level of power to clothesline Shamrock's head off as Ken came at Awesome. Awesome pounded into Shamrock, several face shots involved. The "Heartbreak Kid" cheered Awesome on as Mr McMahon praised both men, talking about the sort of person the Corporation had molded Mike Awesome into. Awesome applied a cross-armbreaker, very reverse psychology for Awesome to do considering that it's usually Ken Shamrock that applied that move. What made it worse was the fact that it was Shamrock's bad hand, the one that was previously injured by Justin Bradshaw. Shamrock was stuck in the hold, and Awesome kept pounding on the hand that was previously broken. Awesome showed no mercy, dedicated to trying to make Shamrock submit as he rived in pain on the canvas. Awesome's leg was then pounded on by Shamrock's free hand in an attempt to reverse it, Shamrock soon biting the leg of Awesome. Shamrock slowly got up but got sidetracked by a big knee to the face. Awesome tossed Shamrock around like a ragged doll, sending him into the corner and delivering several open hand chops right into the chest of Shamrock! Shamrock soon fired back with a big slap, punching Awesome and tackling him down to the canvas. Shamrock went back to the knee of Awesome, dropping several elbows onto it and then applying a leglock, Awesome trying to get out of it, and Shamrock started dropping knees onto the knee of Awesome, trying to wrench the knee sideways. Awesome soon managed to reverse it into a sleeper hold, the grapevine applied and Shamrock stuck with no place to go. Awesome evolved the move into a triangle choke, and Shamrock was no stranger to this hold, rolling over onto his front and arching Awesome forward into a roll-up for a near fall. Shamrock kicked Awesome in the knee and his knee gave out, belly-to-back suplex to Awesome! Shamrock applied a single legged Boston crab on Awesome, as the "Gladiator" was really being taken to the limit by the "World's Most Dangerous Man". The former WWF Intercontinental Champion refused to let go until Awesome finally reached the ropes. Awesome rolled out onto the apron and Shamrock delivered a kick to the side of Awesome's head, sending Awesome down to the floor. Awesome caught Shamrock's suicide dive attempt, and Awesome went spine first into the barricade, Shamrock head first! Shamrock seemed in a bad way, but Awesome refused to give way to Shamrock for air, Awesome dragging Shamrock into the ring and showing him how much he wanted this match for the WWF Championship! Awesome tried the Awesome Bomb, but his knee was too weakened from previous damage done to his knee thanks to Shamrock. Shamrock was then set up for the Awesome Bomb, but Shamrock got out and Awesome bounced off the ropes, getting both Shamrock AND the referee! Both men were down as Shamrock tried to find the energy to get back to his feet, Awesome as well using the ropes, and Awesome tried the Awesome Bomb again, it connecting! At that moment, Stone Cold Steve Austin came over the barricade, tossing his cup of beer right at Mr McMahon on commentary! Austin got into the ring and gave Mike Awesome the Stunner, then clotheslined Shawn Michaels down as the Commissioner went after the "Texas Rattlesnake"! Austin climbed over the barricade and made his way out of the Rosemont Horizon, as Shamrock hooked a leg, and that was it!

Winner: Ken Shamrock @ 14:58 [***1/4]

Ken Shamrock celebrated his win as the crowd applauded him, the fans in Chicago on their feet for the "World's Most Dangerous Man"! Mr McMahon looked pissed off that Stone Cold Steve Austin had gotten himself involved in this amazing match, but the Chairman still applauded Ken Shamrock on his win, still denouncing that Mike Awesome should have had this match won. Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown getting escorted from the arena by security, climbing right into his pickup truck and leaving the Rosemont Horizon! A video package aired, reviewing the situation between Shane McMahon and Jim Ross, and how the son of Mr McMahon for months commentated by the side of Jerry "The King" Lawler on Sunday Night HeAT before Shane insulted J.R. and prompted the newcomer, "Hired Gun" of the Corporation, Test to attack Jim Ross. Jerry Lawler making the save. Shane even announced HeAT alongside "The King" after, but would have been sued had Lawler touched McMahon. Tonight, there is no lawsuits, and the spot as the announce team for RAW is WAR every Monday night, is on the line. For the Announce Team Position on RAW is WAR Shane McMahon and Test vs Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler |

This was to be a very interesting match, as Shane McMahon came out dressed in tracksuit bottoms and a jersey reading 'J.R.'s Judgment Day' on it. Jim Ross was dressed in an Oklahoma Sooners jersey and his dress trousers. Jerry "The King" Lawler and Test went at it to kick off the match, right hands flying everywhere but the "Hired Gun" would use his size, pounding away at Lawler and the "King" was given a heavy scoop slam, landing right on the back of his head by Test. Test showed confidence as did Shane, Test tagging in the man that Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly (replacement commentators for this match) claimed was 'Shane O'Mac', Shane McMahon throwing some very fast jabs in the way of Jerry Lawler. Shane then ran right into a big clothesline by Lawler, Lawler pounding right into Shane O'Mac! Jerry gave Shane a suplex before preparing the Piledriver just for Test to come out of nowhere with the Big Boot! Shane went to cover, but Jim Ross stepped in the ring! J.R. axe handled the fall away, and J.R. then dove at Shane with a Lou Thesz press! Test went back at it with Jerry Lawler before the "King" laid Test out with a backbreaker, then going up and giving Test the Fist Drop from the second rope! Shane tried running at Jerry but got a punch to the temple, Lawler then scooping Shane off of the canvas and delivering a Piledriver for the win!

Winners: Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler @ 4:55 [*1/4]

The crowd cheered as Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler celebrated their win, Test and Shane McMahon laid out on the canvas, their attempts to take over the announce table every Monday night on RAW is WAR over! J.R. and King took their place on commentary back for the last match, shaking the hands of Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly. The video package aired promoting the rivalry between Mankind and Kane, their rivalry dating back to late last year, when Kane's first official match was against the deranged Mankind. Kane evolved throughout 1998, as did Mankind, and tonight they meet with the "Big Red Machine" now the WWF Champion. But with the Undertaker having to choose between the Corporation and his brother, the "Lord of Darkness" must decide which side he wants to choose when he officiates this main event! 9) WWF Championship Kane (c) vs Mankind The Undertaker is the Special Guest Referee |

This was definitely not going to be one for the weakened heart, and it seemed unlikely that we'd get the Undertaker as special guest referee disqualifying or counting out any of the two main eventers involved. The "Lord of Darkness" had to make the right decision, but there was no idea where Mr McMahon had gone following having beer spilt on him by Stone Cold Steve Austin. The "Big Red Machine" started things off with a fist fight in the ring with Mankind, both men with several haymakers, and recalling Mankind's interview earlier tonight, he was planning on still using the Mandible Claw, but by doing that unmasking Kane! The "Big Red Machine" tried to keep on his feet, but when eventually Mankind knocked him down, Mankind started trying to go after the mask. Kane fired Mankind off though, and the "Big Red Machine" gave Mankind a massive Chokeslam, Kane covering for a near fall. The Undertaker's officiating was deemed as fair and unbiased, but it wasn't so determined as of yet. Mankind fired back, the battle spilling out of the ring, Mankind picking up a steel chair and cracking it over the skull of the WWF Champion, the deranged one downing Kane into the corner, head against the steps, and Mankind put the chair in front of Kane's face, Mankind with a run up and he sandwiched Kane's head in between the steel steps, the steel chair and Mankind's knee! Kane spilt blood from his mask, as Mankind continued to pound on Kane, getting him into the ring for a cover, and the "Deadman" counted two fairly. Mankind and Kane continued to go at it, as Mr McMahon soon came out on his electronic wheelchair, McMahon coming to ringside as Mankind suddenly pointed the finger at Vince, warning him not to get involved in this match! The Undertaker kept glaring at McMahon as the Chairman expected him to quicken the pace and make the decision! Kane regained offence and picked up a sledgehammer, Mankind in trouble, and the "Big Red Machine" drove the sledgehammer into the face of Mankind, sending Mankind sailing into McMahon's wheelchair! McMahon was tipped back as 'Taker got Mankind off of McMahon and then Kane got into a fist fight with Mankind on the aisleway! The "Lord of Darkness" helped Vince up as he seemed to now he going in McMahon's direction to turn on Kane! Paul Bearer then walked out to the ring, Bearer looking at his son fighting his ex-client Mankind for the WWF Championship whilst his stepson officiated this match! Mankind pulled out Mr Socko and gave Kane a right hand with Socko before looking at Bearer, and the deranged one came after Bearer, the Mandible Claw applied with Socko! Kane then grabbed Mankind by the hair and brought him back to the ring, Bearer helped up by his son. Kane and Mankind fought in a tug of war over the sledgehammer as the "Phenom" watched between them, Kane trying the Tombstone Piledriver, but the Undertaker grabbed his brother by the throat! The crowd booed loudly as 'Taker planted Kane with the Tombstone Piledriver of his own, and Mankind stumbled to his feet, going up to the top rope and coming off with an elbow drop similar to what his old favourite, Jimmy Snuka did to Don Muraco fifteen years ago, Mankind with the cover, and 'Taker reluctantly counted three!

Winner and NEW WWF Champion: Mankind @ 18:29 [**3/4]

Mankind celebrated his win as the crowd cheered loudly, fans chanting 'Foley' throughout the Rosemont Horizon! The Undertaker looked annoyed with himself for costing his own brother Kane the WWF Championship, and he stared at Paul Bearer and Mr McMahon at ringside, then grabbing Mankind by the throat and dropping him with a Chokeslam as well! The "Lord of Darkness" climbed out of the ring and stared at both Vince McMahon and Paul Bearer, for family or for the Corporation. And the "Deadman" grabbed Vince by the throat and shoved him right on his ass in the wheelchair! The fans gave the "Phenom" a mixed reaction, Undertaker leaving with Paul Bearer, we have a new WWF Champion! Judgment Day went off the air.

WWF Judgment Day: In Your House McMahon on commentary should be interesting. Awesome way to kick off the show with X-Pac versus D-Lo Brown, these two always put on great bouts back in 1998. Glad that D-Lo picked up the victory. Fun hardcore match between Rob Van Dam and Sabu against the Corporation. Loved the Van Terminator spot to end the match. Austin's got a ticket! I feel like there could be hell to pay for Michaels and Awesome tonight. Cool little six man tag here, best thing about it was the Brood picking up the win though. Great to see Goldust back, picking up the victory of Boss Man was the right thing to do. Interested where the whole thing with Terri goes. The Nation retaining the tag titles after Owen Hart turns on Davey Boy is interesting, but I wish the Harts could've given more time to run. Looking forward to a match between Davey and Owen, however. Loved the Rock promo, authentic for him in his heel role during this time period. Another awesome DX versus Nation match here, I remember really liking their two out of three falls match at Fully Loaded 98. Great to see Chyna back, but a Rock face turn is clearly in the works. I imagine the DX versus Nation feud is just about over. Intrigued by the added stipulations to Ken Shamrock versus Mike Awesome, but still sure that won't stop Austin from getting involved! Obvious that Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler would be retaining their spots at the announce table. Hopefully something is in the works for Test after losing to two announcers, even if one is Jerry Lawler. Stacked main event for the WWF Championship with Undertaker as the referee, loving the hype for this match. Really dramatic finish, love it. Mankind winning the title is great, even if it isn't as special as his January Fourth win. Intrigued by 'Taker leaving with Bearer at the end, is the Ministry on the horizon? Overall a solid pay-per-view, looking forward to how you handle Survivor Series.

JUDGEMENT DAY 98 Been waiting for this one...pretty pumped! Vince on commentary should make for an interesting evening. Wow, D'Lo over XPac was unexpected, and a good surprise for me man. So far Nation is 1-0 tonight! I hope Goldust kicks some ass here tonight. See no point in the Hardcore Tag Match...obviously the ECW guys had it. Austin in the front row...classic. You get Marilyn Manson to play the theme...and they lose. What a waste haha but I am glad the Brood scored the win. YES! Goldy gets the win in what was probably a decent match. Terri and Goldust in cahoots after all this would be a mindf*ck! Stupid Owen Hart...saw that turn coming from the HeAT segment. Nation now has two of the three wins...with the big one to go. CHYNA! In an epic fashion to help DX salvage something tonight. Didn't seem them being swept here. Solid Mankind promo...could hear him deliver that. Also, I wonder what will come of the Owen/Davey stuff. Shamrock as the number one contender? Alright, I guess it could work. Better than Mike Awesome thats for sure. Oh who didn't see JR and King win? That was expected. Holy moly, you gave the strap to Mankind. I am bewildered Taker turned...but not fully as you can see. I don't know what to think about Mankind/Shamrock as your lead feud, but I have faith in you Dan. Solid PPV...love this diary. You have a constant replier in me.

If I remember correctly, Pac and Brown had some good matches in real-life, and it seemed like a solid way to open the show. For some reason I've been a fan of D'Lo. Not surprised that RVD and Sabu won the hardcore match. A nice package to give me an understanding of the Goldust/Bossman feud. That seems like an intense personal feud. Good call to have Goldust comeback and win. Interesting to see Owen turn on Davey Boy, and I imagine the Nation will feud with the Outlaws for the titles moving forward. I enjoyed the two out of three falls match between Rocky and Triple H. Those two just click very well. Figures that Austin would get involved when he was told not to. I'm not sure about Shamrock as the number one contender. I'm thinking you can sell me on it, though. This must be the formation of the Ministry coming our way. I like Mankind having the strap and a match with Shamrock would be better than Kane/Shamrock. Personally, I wish Awesome won the number one contender spot, but oh well. A solid pay per view, Dan.

Judgment Day: In Your House: 10/18/98 McMahon on commentary? What a maneuver! Great choice of an opening contest between X-Pac and D'Lo Brown. While I do enjoy me some Attitude Era X-Pac, I've always loved D'Lo, so glad to see him pick up the victory. Fun Hardcore Match here with Rob Van Dam and Sabu getting the win over Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal. Obviously, the ECW originals were going to get the win in their match. Marilyn Manson cursed Al Snow and the Headbangers. Nice feel-good victory for Goldust over Big Bossman. Very interested in seeing where this feud, and Terri, goes next. Owen turned on Davey Boy? Whaaaa? That's a feud to look forward to. Nation's on a roll tonight. Let's see if they can cap it off with the Intercontinental Championship. Chyna! She's He's It's back! Good to see Triple H hold onto the WWF Intercontinental Title, preventing the Nation sweep. Hoping that now, the Rock can ascend into the main event scene. Aw, Mike Awesome lost? Shamrock is getting the title shot at Survivor Series? You're gonna have to make this one up to me, Danny Boy. Expected win for Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler to retain their spots at the announce table. Now, onto the main event. Where do I start? Paul Bearer returns, Undertaker turns, Mankind is the new World Wrestling Federation Champion, 'Taker Chokeslams him and shoves Vince before leaving with Bearer? I will say that I am surprised to see Mankind grab that title. Something big has to be in store for Survivor Series as it's a bit difficult to see Mankind/Shamrock headlining it. As for all of the other events, holy Ministry of Darkness. Overall, a really solid PPV. Not much to complain. And whatever there is for me to complain about, I'll just take your word and let it all play out.

| WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 19th October 1998 |

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Bradley Center

A replay from last night's pay-per-view aired, as it was Judgment Day and it came down to Mankind taking on Kane for the WWF Championship, with the Undertaker acting as the special referee. 'Taker had to decide between the Brothers of Destruction and the Corporation, Vince McMahon or Kane, and after a hard fought battle forgetting the disqualification and count out rules, McMahon appeared, as did Paul Bearer. The Undertaker took out his brother Kane and counted Mankind the victory, Mankind winning the WWF Championship, but the "Deadman" decided to also take out the Chairman by shoving him out of his wheelchair, and 'Taker left with Kane's father, Paul Bearer! The opening video package for RAW is WAR aired, and we cut to the live Bradley Center for the fallout of RAW is WAR! Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcomed us to the show and they seemed happy after defeating Shane McMahon and Test last night to retain their positions as the announce team for RAW is WAR.
The crowd booed as Mr McMahon made his way out to the ring, Vince wheeling himself out onto the rampway as Mr McMahon seemed quite pleased with what happened last night. McMahon talked about how he has the right to be happy: Stone Cold Steve Austin has finally been banned from the World Wrestling Federation permanently, the "Big Red intellectually- disabled person" Kane was no longer the WWF Champion, and the Corporation still remain to be a dominant faction. They may have suffered more losses than wins last night, but the main thing is that they are unstoppable! But one unstoppable superstar that he thought would be very helpful to the Corporation is the Undertaker! McMahon mentioned that the "Lord of Darkness" had the decision to join the Corporation, or join his brother in the Brothers of Destruction. And what did he do? He did neither, and is no longer a member of the Corporation, but a mere enemy! McMahon talked about how Ken Shamrock qualified the right to go to face the WWF Champion, Mankind at our next pay-per-view, the Survivor Series in four weeks time, but talked about how Mike Awesome in his mind was screwed out of the WWF title shot! And this is why tonight, Ken Shamrock will prove what main event promise he has in him, because he will get to choose a tag team partner to take on Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal! Suddenly, the glass shattered and the fans cheered as the "Texas Rattlesnake" was shown outside of the Bradley Center from the TitanTron, trying to get past a police perimeter! Austin was yelling at police officers, and Austin yelled to McMahon that it was now hunting season, and he was coming for the Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation!
-- Commercial Break --
An advertisement aired, promoting the WWF Survivor Series, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, November 15th 1998 from St. Louis, Missouri.
We return to the Bradley Center, as Mr McMahon was shown in his wheelchair being walked by Pat Patterson and Gerald Brisco as well as the Big Bossman. McMahon talked to Bossman about how scared he was, and that he wanted him to stay by the Chairman and look out for Stone Cold Steve Austin and keep him away from the "Texas Rattlesnake". Bossman took off his shades and put on a ski-mask, Bossman stating that he wouldn't let McMahon down.
1) WWF Tag Team Championships: Mark Henry and The Godfather (w/Rikishi Phatu) vs Edge and Christian (w/Gangrel) |

This was quite an interesting way to kick off RAW is WAR tonight, the WWF Tag Team Championships on the line and it was quite a split decision for the crowd to decide who they wanted to walk out of Milwaukee as the champions, Mark Henry and The Godfather coming out with Rikishi Phatu, the wrist of Phatu still broken and he was out here to manage "Sexual Chocolate" and the Pimp in their title defence against the two youngsters, Edge and Christian. Gangrel accompanied the Brood members to the ring, and these two young men were coming off of a win against Al Snow and the Headbangers the night before at Judgment Day. Henry started off with Christian and Christian used his agility to outrun "Sexual Chocolate", Edge getting in and using a lot more offence to take down Mark Henry. Edge was soon worked over by the Godfather, as Godfather prepared the Ho Train, connecting as well, and Godfather connected with the Pimp Drop on Edge! Godfather tagged in Mark Henry when suddenly the New Age Outlaws came from out of nowhere, Billy Gunn grabbing the foot of Mark Henry whilst Road Dogg dragged The Godfather out of the ring, and whilst the official was busy with getting "Bad Ass" Billy off of Mark, Edge slammed Mark Henry with the WWF Tag Team Championship belt and connected with the Downward Spiral for the win!

Winners and NEW WWF Tag Team Champions: Edge and Christian @ 5:46 [**1/4]

Edge and Christian rolled out of the ring, Gangrel securing their WWF Tag Team Championships, and the crowd gave the Brood a round of applause! The New Age Outlaws backed up the rampway, very pleased with what had just transpired, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg having cost Mark Henry and The Godfather the titles! We see Owen Hart in the backstage area, the "Black Hart" making his way through the entrance of the Bradley Center, as Kevin Kelly tried to catch a word with the WWF European Champion, Owen Hart simply looking through Kelly and continuing his walk, and tonight Hart is scheduled to defend that WWF European Championship against Val Venis! -- Commercial Break --The crowd booed as a gong was heard, the "Lord of Darkness" making his way out to the ring with Paul Bearer, and the Undertaker seemingly turned his back on the World Wrestling Federation as a whole last night at Judgment Day, deciding not to choose either Kane or the Corporation and Vince McMahon, instead leaving with the returning Paul Bearer. Bearer also walked out on his son, the "Big Red Machine", and Kane was nowhere to be seen ever since losing his WWF Championship last night to Mankind. The "Deadman" stood before the Milwaukee crowd, talking about how he doesn't need to give any of these fans a damn thing. The Undertaker mentions how he started to loathe every single person in the locker room, working behind the scenes, competing and even watching the product. People made him choose, and in the end, it is the "Phenom"s choice and ONLY the "Phenom"s choice. Paul Bearer talked about how last night was indeed Judgment Day, and it officially started the beginning of a new identity in the World Wrestling Federation. Bearer talks about how he doesn't need to talk about his son, Kane, nor does he need to talk to him either. Bearer calls this identity the Ministry of Darkness! The "Deadman" explains that this is an almighty faction brought together by the higher powers of a glorious leader. And the Ministry WILL tear the World Wrestling Federation limb from limb. The day is coming, Vince McMahon. Undertaker tells the Chairman that they will grow in numbers, and they will not quit until the Corporation is demolished, Vince McMahon is demolished, and the "Lord of Darkness" has ultimate power of the WWF! Mr McMahon was then shown wheeling onto the rampway with Big Bossman and Test by his side, McMahon telling Undertaker that whatever he has planned, he has great confidence that it will backfire! McMahon tells 'Taker that his previous attempts to become WWF Champion are now over. Vince warns the "Deadman", telling him not to get in their way, because the Corporation would wipe the floors with whatever force the Ministry has got! 'Taker asks McMahon if he is right about that, introducing the first three members. And with that, rappelling down from the rafters behind the Undertaker and Paul Bearer came Gangrel, and the new WWF Tag Team Champions, Edge and Christian of the Brood! The crowd cheered as 'Taker rolled his eyes at McMahon, Vince looking angry, telling 'Taker that he may have got the WWF Tag Team Championships, but we will see who the bigger man is once the Corporation is wiping the floor with the Ministry! He challenges 'Taker and his so-called Ministry to a match at Survivor Series against the Corporation, wishing for them to TRY and intimidate McMahon! 'Taker laughed, telling him in time. -- Commercial Break --We return to RAW is WAR as the Rock was shown confronting the Nation in the locker room, the "Brahma Bull" telling the Nation members that he hasn't been so satisfied with the faction for various weeks. But what really ticked him off was the fact that Mark Henry and the Godfather let the New Age Outlaws get to them earlier tonight, and the Nation no longer have possession of the WWF Tag Team Championships! Godfather tells Rock that in their defence, they got their job done last night, and Rock did not deliver in bringing home the WWF Intercontinental Championship. Rock asked if it really mattered what Godfather thought, because as a faction they should stand tall together! And if they want to do that, they need to take down D-Generation X a couple notches! Rock tells D-Lo Brown to go out there with him and show the New Age Outlaws who the REAL People's Champions are! -- Commercial Break --We return to RAW is WAR as Terri Runnels was shown in the ring, microphone in hand, and Terri happily announced that she was done with the Corporation and the Big Bossman. And so she was here to bring out her newest romance interest...Bob Holly! 2) Goldust vs Bob Holly (w/Terri Runnels and Bart Gunn) |

Goldust was coming off of a win against the Big Bossman last night at Judgment Day, Bossman being the romantic interest of Terri Runnels last night, but it was the fact that Terri managed to score with another WWF superstar in less than twenty-four hours after dumping Bossman to prepare this match against her ex-husband was astonishing. Bob Holly and Bart Gunn, formerly known as the Mid South Connection came out in JOB Squad shirts, Holly catching Goldust off-guard with a high-angle dropkick, absolutely beautiful movement on it. Holly worked over Goldust and caught his Curtain Call attempt with a powerslam, Holly showcasing his brutal and more confident side. Bart and Terri cheered Holly on from ringside as Holly tried a spinning suplex known as the Falcon Arrow just for Goldust to get out of it, and Goldust kicked Holly right in the balls!

Winner: Bob Holly @ 4:22 by disqualification [**1/4]

Goldust celebrated his loss as Terri Runnels looked very unhappy with what had just occured, Terri's new romantic interest Bob Holly's genitalia now perhaps ruined by the ex-husband, Goldust! Terri encouraged Bart Gunn to get in the ring and go after Goldust, and he finally went right at it in a fist fight with the "Bizarre One", Goldust instead kicking Bart in the balls as well, some Shattered Dreams to Bart as well as Bob, and Goldust dropped Gunn with the Curtain Call! Goldust watched Terri from ringside, as Runnels threw a tantrum and started to leave. We cut to the backstage area as the "World's Most Dangerous Man" was caught up with by Michael Cole, Ken Shamrock asked by Cole about who he planned to choose as his tag team partner tonight when he takes on Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal. Shamrock told Cole that he was very giving tonight, reason being that he was now the number one contender to the WWF Championship! And he told us that he believed that Mankind was a hell of a competitor, and he couldn't wait to take him on at the Survivor Series, but he wanted to team with him as well, and tonight Shamrock will team with Mankind to face Jarrett and Regal in that ring! -- Commercial Break --Stone Cold Steve Austin was shown still outside, trying to get into the Bradley Center just to be pushed away by various police officers from here in Milwaukee. The "Texas Rattlesnake" then offered an officer an autograph, and whilst the officer's back was turned, Austin started charging for the arena! Austin was in the Bradley Center, here to hunt down Mr McMahon! Mr McMahon was shown in his office, the Chairman watching a monitor, and Vince started to leave with the Big Bossman, McMahon showing a hell of a lot of fear in his voice as he told Bossman to take him out to the parking lot area. 3) The Rock and D-Lo Brown vs The New Age Outlaws |

The Rock and D-Lo Brown had to get this win to make the Nation stand up to D-Generation X. The New Age Outlaws already appeared earlier tonight, Billy Gunn and Road Dogg Jesse James having cost Mark Henry and the Godfather their WWF Tag Team Championships. Rock was unfortunately defeated by Triple H last night and failed to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship despite the solid effort put on by the "Great One". Rock and Road Dogg started off, trading blows, and the Rock started working over Jesse James, Rock showing why he is the People's Champion. Rock stomped away at Road Dogg, Road Dogg finally firing back with some snap jabs, Jesse James managing to get the hot tag to "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn, Gunn with a dropkick to Rock, and in came D-Lo Brown. Brown fired back though, drop toe hold sending Gunn right into the turnbuckle pad face first. D-Lo got overconfident as Brown dropped Gunn with the Sky High, just for Road Dogg to step in and break it up! Rock got back in the ring, and the end of the match came with all four men firing blows at each other, Chyna coming down to the ring and Rock took her out with the baseball slide! D-Lo went up top meanwhile and came off with the Frog Splash, Billy distracted by Chyna, down at ringside, and Rock nailed the People's Elbow to get the three!

Winners: The Rock and D-Lo Brown @ 5:05 [**1/4]

The crowd booed as The Rock and D-Lo Brown celebrated in the ring, Billy Gunn meanwhile trying to help Chyna up just for the "Ninth Wonder of the World" to shove her stable mate away! Chyna gave Gunn a clothesline, and Chyna had just taken out a member of her own faction, D-Generation X! DX seemed to be disintergrating before our very eyes, whilst Triple H ran down to ringside, Hunter getting on the microphone and telling Chyna that he'd talk to her later, Hunter then arranging an eight-man tag team match this Sunday on HeAT, Hunter, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws to take on Rock, Mark Henry, D-Lo and The Godfather, and we'd see who the kings of entertainment were! Hunter dropped the microphone, then catching up with the New Age Outlaws on the rampway. We see Mr McMahon in the backstage area as the Big Bossman is wheeling him out of the Bradley Center, McMahon and Bossman approaching a door just to discover that it had been barricaded shut! McMahon tells Bossman that he senses Stone Cold Steve Austin's blood in the arena and he isn't happy! Bossman tells McMahon that he's going to settle this, Bossman pulling out his nightstick and telling Vince that he'd drop him off in catering under the attention of everybody in the backstage area to ensure Austin wouldn't get there. McMahon still seemed terrified. -- Commercial Break --We return to RAW is WAR as Mike Awesome was shown with Shawn Michaels, Michael Hayes here to conduct an interview, and the "Gladiator" talked about how pissed off he was that Stone Cold Steve Austin was still scaling the Bradley Center, and cost him that contenders match last night! The Commissioner told Awesome to calm down, but Awesome told Hayes that he was pretty sick of that "Texas Rattlesnake" roaming around like the head honcho of sports entertainment! Michaels tells Awesome to cool it, but Awesome doesn't appreciate that, and tells Michaels that he wants a match with ANYBODY in the back tonight. Michaels tells Awesome that he can take on his old ECW buddy Rob Van Dam, because the "Gladiator" needs to stricken up and make some idiots bleed! Michaels tells Awesome that he will get his contenders match in due time, but right now, he's going to prove to everybody why he SHOULD be the number one contender. We catch up with Davey Boy Smith as he meets with Owen Hart, the "Black Hart" apologising for his actions last night at Judgment Day. Owen tells Davey that he doesn't know what happened, and he feels like he's been losing it in recent weeks. Davey tells Owen not to worry about it now, because he needs to get ready for his WWF European Championship match with Val Venis next. We return to the Bradley Center as Jerry "The King" Lawler was in the middle of the ring preparing us for this bikini contest! She introduced the WWF Womens Champion Jacqueline and Luna Vachon of the Pretty Mean Sisters! They came out in robes, Jacqueline getting on the microphone and talking about how they would definitely defeat Sable with sexy bodies! Luna Vachon called Sable a sl*t and talked about how she was one of the most unattractive women in the World Wrestling Federation locker room. Moments later we heard the theme of Sable, and she came out in a very revealing robe, but she introduced a friend to come and help her out, Starla! Starla Saxton made her way out to the ring with Sable, and it seemed like we were ready for some tag team bikini contest action! Jacqueline and Luna took off their robes, both wearing red, revealing plenty of flesh. Luna told Sable and Starla to not even undress, because they had this won. Sable then took off her robe and revealed an extremely skimpy white bikini! Starla undressed to reveal a yellow bikini, and the fans roared for Sable and Starla! Lawler awarded them the win, but suddenly Jacqueline gave Sable a DDT! Starla and Luna went at it, and Jackie got on the microphone about how sick of Sable she was! She told Sable that they can go at it for the WWF Womens Championship at the Survivor Series, and this would be their FINAL encounter! Jacqueline and Luna of the Pretty Mean Sisters left, Sable being aided to by Jerry and Starla. -- Commercial Break --4) WWF European Championship: Owen Hart (c) vs Val Venis |

"The Big Valbowski" seemed to be in a good mood, and who could blame him? Val Venis went at it with the "Black Hart" in a back and forth effort, Owen Hart trying to get in several dropkicks and clotheslines, Val Venis firing back and managing to give Owen a backbreaker. Venis was given a more positive reaction than Owen, as the fans still seemingly hadn't gotten over what Owen did to his brother in law, Davey Boy Smith last night. Owen got in a sharp enziguri and that could have cost Val the match right there. Venis' back was worked over, this capacity crowd routing for the "Big Valbowski" to pick up the win and make a comeback in the process, but as Val started firing back, Venis tried to give Owen a backdrop, Owen landed on his feet and Owen planted Val with the tombstone piledriver, but all of a sudden, the official checked on Venis and he wasn't moving.

Winner: Non Finish, and STILL WWF European Champion: Owen Hart @ 4:18 [**]

Owen Hart didn't seem too satisfied with his victory, mainly because the official was checking Val Venis over, the "Big Valbowski" seemingly having planted right on top of his head. The "Black Hart" picked up his WWF European Championship and let it trape on the floor behind him, Owen starting to leave. We would see close ups and replays of what just transpired with Val's injury, as EMTs came down to the ring and placed Val on a stretcher, wheeling the "Big Valbowski" out of the Bradley Center to a massive ovation. We see Davey Boy Smith meet up with Owen Hart, as Owen looked right through Davey and told him that it was over. Davey asked what he meant, and the "Black Hart" yelled hostilely, Owen telling Davey that he never once intentionally wanted to hurt anybody, and he did it tonight! The WWF European Champion left, as Davey yelled at Owen, begging him not to walk out on his family's legacy. Hart refused to turn back, leaving the arena. -- Commercial Break --We returned to RAW is WAR as Mr McMahon was drinking a coffee, extremely paranoid by those around him in case it was Stone Cold Steve Austin. Suddenly, from the other side of the catering table appeared Mr Socko! McMahon jumped, Mankind standing up and asking Vince what the matter was, telling him that he was just playing with him! Mankind tells Vince that he's so gracious that McMahon gave him the opportunity last night to take on Kane, and he won the WWF Championship. He wanted to thank McMahon in any way possible. Vince yelled at Mankind to go away, but Mankind pulled out a game of Connect 4, telling Vince that he knew he was scared with the Stone Cold commotion, but while he's here, he's going to kick his ass in a game of Connect 4! 5) Rob Van Dam (w/Sabu) vs Mike Awesome (w/Shawn Michaels) |

This was an ECW reunion for these two men, as Rob Van Dam and Sabu are definitely not favourites of the Corporation, particularly after what happened last night at Judgment Day when Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal was defeated by the "Whole F'N Show" and the "Arabian Nightmare". The "Gladiator" was almighty and dominant though, despite his loss to Ken Shamrock last night, Awesome was here to get rid of some vent up aggression brought on by Stone Cold Steve Austin last night and tonight. RVD got in some heavy hitting kicks, stunning Awesome, a big superkick sharp in the face of the "Gladiator" attributing to a near upset victory. Awesome soon caught RVD as he sprung off the middle ropes, caught with a spear, and Awesome pounded into Van Dam as he prepared the Awesome Bomb. Van Dam slipped out though and dropkicked Awesome into the corner, the cradle then giving Van Dam a near fall. Van Dam ran off the ropes and was tripped by Shawn Michaels, the Commissioner then getting into a brawl with Sabu at ringside! Awesome gave Van Dam the Awesome Bomb out of nowhere for the victory.

Winner: Mike Awesome @ 6:08 [**1/2]

Mike Awesome celebrated his win in dominance as Shawn Michaels gave Sabu the Sweet Chin Music at ringside, the Commissioner leaving with the "Gladiator", and the "Heartbreak Kid" yelled into the camera that Awesome deserves another opportunity! Mankind was shown playing Connect 4 once again, as he scored the win with four yellows in a row. Mr McMahon still seemed unsatisfied, as he kept telling the new WWF Champion to go away, and Mankind revealed the overall score, with 21 wins to McMahon's 0. Mankind asked for another before Vince yelled at Mankind to get the hell away, reminding him that he was WWF Champion, not a damn kid! McMahon also reminded him that he had a match in a few minutes, to go to that. Mankind said that Vince was just sore because he lost. Mankind left with the WWF Championship, and he's in action next! -- Commercial Break --6) Mankind and Ken Shamrock vs Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal (w/Debra) |

This was our main event, as the WWF Champion Mankind who won the title from Kane last night at Judgment Day teamed up with the "World's Most Dangerous Man" and new number one contender to the WWF Championship, Ken Shamrock. They did battle against two of the hardest working WWF superstars in the back, two members of the Corporation at that. Shamrock started with the "Lord of Lords" and immediately wrestled him to the ground, pulling out all the stops and the cross armbreaker was applied. Regal fired back though, with his technical ability also coming into play, rolling out of Shamrock's hold and applying one of his own. Regal targeted the shoulder of Shamrock that was worked on last night by Mike Awesome, and Jeff Jarrett further brutalized it with his more physical attacks as opposed to Regal's submission holds. Jarrett prepared the Stroke on Shamrock but Shamrock gave him the belly-to-back suplex, Shamrock with the tag to Mankind and the WWF Champion came in and took out Regal with a running knee to the face in the corner, "Double J" trying the Stroke on Mankind just for Mankind to pull out Mr Socko, and the Mandible Claw was locked in! Suddenly though, Ken Shamrock gave Mankind a German suplex! Shamrock returned to the apron as Jarrett gave Mankind the Stroke for the victory!

Winners: Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal @ 7:24 [**1/4]

The crowd booed as Jeff Jarrett and Steven Regal returned to their feet, Debra climbing in the ring as well. The three Corporation members stood as one, when suddenly Ken Shamrock came from behind, shoving Jarrett away! The "World's Most Dangerous Man" exchanged a glare with "Double J" before the two united! The crowd booed louder as it seemed like Shamrock had just sold his soul and joined the Corporation! Shamrock told Mankind that he'd see him at Survivor Series, and that he would happily take the WWF Championship away from him! Shamrock, Jarrett, Debra and Regal stood tall. In the backstage area, the Big Bossman returned as Vince McMahon asked if the coast was clear to no response. Bossman wore his ski-mask as McMahon told him to help him leave the arena. Bossman suddenly unmasked to reveal that he was Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Vince screamed in fear, Austin wheeling Vince out to the ring! -- Commercial Break --The crowd roared as the glass shattered and out came the "Texas Rattlesnake", Stone Cold Steve Austin wheeling Mr McMahon out to the ring, and Austin shoved McMahon out of his wheelchair right on the way, McMahon shoved into the ring despite his broken leg that occurred thanks to Austin himself. Austin took the microphone and revealed a handgun from his pocket, the unemployed Stone Cold talking about how everything was dandy, dandy until Mr McMahon had to come in and fire his ass on the spot. For what exactly? Austin didn't know that McMahon's leg would be broken. McMahon told Austin that he says this, but the fact of the matter is that Austin always had it out for him, and he used his power as Chairman of the World Wrestling Federation to dump Austin from all WWF programming! Austin told Vince that he didn't only screw him, he screwed his own brown-noser, Mike Awesome! Vince tells Austin to let go of him, as it was getting ridiculous. Austin tells Vince to shut up with his whiny attitude. Austin told Vince that they could do this the easy way or the hard way, and the easy way involved of McMahon being released from his hostage under the condition that McMahon drops any lawsuits and charges done to him, and McMahon reinstates his contract! Vince tells Austin 'hell no', as Austin laughs, telling Vince that he is bringing this on himself! Austin reveals that McMahon could have his brains splattered all over the Bradley Center here in Milwaukee thanks to his gun! Vince yelled into the microphone that if Austin wanted his job back, he could face Mike Awesome at the Survivor Series for it! Austin laughed, telling McMahon that he'll take it. But he's still going to shoot his ass! Austin set Vince up on his knees and pulled the trigger on the gun, out popping a 'BANG 3:16' flag! Vince was stunned as the fans in the arena were loving it! Austin told Vince that he smells something, asking him if he soiled himself. Vince stood up to reveal a wet patch, and McMahon was given the Stunner! Austin may not have been reinstated officially, but the "Texas Rattlesnake" had destroyed the Chairman's reputation as the Owner of this company! RAW is WAR went off the air.

THE BRIT REPORT Presented by Mike Potter on Thursday 22nd October 1998
-- You can see my review of Sunday Night HeAT and RAW is WAR here.
-- Val Venis's injury last week on RAW was purely storyline; Venis has requested time off to attend to a nagging neck injury, and he will be taking off for a few months. Things are planned for him in 1999, so we may not see him in 1998 on television.
-- There was some controversial footage last week on RAW is WAR with Stone Cold Steve Austin holding Vince McMahon hostage and threatening to shoot. Some parents complained to the USA Network for allowing that footage to be aired live.
-- The WWF are focusing on some music entertainment as well as wrestling for publicity. Marilyn Manson performed a song live at Judgment Day last weekend, and now Motley Crüe are looking to perform. Their Greatest Hits album was released yesterday.
-- WWF RAW bested WCW Nitro this week with a 4.8 rating to 4.7. Identical ratings to last week.

Pretty good episode of Raw to begin the build toward Survivor Series. I see you're incorporating some real life events into your universe, such as Austin holding Vince hostage, Owen "crippling" someone and leaving (in this case Val Venis instead of Dan Severn) and Undertaker starting to form the Corporate Ministry. I also like how the DX/Nation feud is still going and can easily see the final bowloff in a Survivor Series match. All in all excellent stuff and keep it up!

Great start to the show with Mr. McMahon reviewing the Corporation's night at Judgment Day. I still think Ken Shamrock challenging for the World Wrestling Federation Championship on pay per view is a bit strange, but who am I to talk on that matter when I have Zack Ryder as a title contender. Aw sh*t, Stone Cold in this bitch! What da hayle?! Edge and Christian are the new WWF Tag Team Champions. Seemed out of nowhere, but as a huge Brood/E&C fan, I love it. Makes more sense with the interference from the New Age Outlaws. Holy crap, the Ministry has come to fruition. I don't think I have to tell you to not make Vince the Higher Power. The Brood in the Ministry is lovely, and the Survivor Series match sounds fantastic. Seriously looking forward to that. Goldust on a ball-kicking spree. Now kick Terri in the vagina! Shamrock teaming with Mankind tonight? I smell a turn coming. Good victory here for the Rock and D-Lo Brown. The tension between D-X is very interesting, and I can't imagine them being able to work as a cohesive unit on HeAT. Good promo from Mike Awesome. I loved the guy and would really love for him to be in the title hunt soon. Having HBK at his side id nice as well. So we're finally getting the conclusion of the Sable/Jacqueline feud at Survivor Series. Good. A bit uncomfortable with the finish to Owen/Val. Though I am interested in seeing what comes out of this. Good victory for Mike Awesome over Rob Van Dam. Would've been a great match I'm sure. As expected, Shamrock turns Mankind. Does certainly add some interest to the championship match at Survivor Series. Lastly, glad you included the classic gun segment, while making it your own by announcing Austin/Awesome at Survivor Series. Overall, a great RAW is WAR.

WWF RAW is WAR Solid promo from Vince McMahon to kick off the show, addressing Judgment Day: In Your House. I easily see Shamrock joining the Corporation sometime soon. Austin's here! And it's hunting season! I think we might have an "accident" on our hands tonight. Damn, I'd like a gif of Boss Man taking off his glasses and putting on a mask, that would look bad ass. Wow, shocked that the Brood took the tag titles off of the Nation in the opening bout. Good finish with the Outlaws costing the Nation the match. Awesome promo with the Undertaker and Paul Bearer establishing the Ministry along with the Brood. Corporation versus the Ministry is something I can get behind. Dissension among the Nation, uh-oh. Liking the storyline between Terri and Goldust, and Goldust kicking the JOB Squad in the nuts was unintentionally hilarious. Shamrock and Mankind teaming up tonight, awesome. Austin's in the arena! Vince! Good win for Rock and D-Lo to regain some momentum back on the Nation's side. Interesting aftermath between Chyna and Billy Gunn, things don't look good for either faction at this point. Eight man tag on HeAT should be fun. Nice promo from Mike Awesome and Shawn Michaels, looking forward to the eventual match between Awesome and Austin. Typical Diva's segment for 98, final encounter for Survivor Series is alright. Finish to the match between Owen Hart and Val Venis is similar to the angle with Dan Severn(?), but I'm loving the downward spiral Owen Hart seems to be going into. Enjoyed the little segment between Vince McMahon and Mankind. Solid win for Mike Awesome over Rob Van Dam. Laughed at Mr. McMahon's rage quit of Connect Four, loved Mankind back in this period. Great main event with Shamrock turning on Mankind in the end and joining the Corporation, a bit earlier than I predicted though. I still see Mankind retaining at Survivor Series however, someone else will be the Crown Jewel of the Corporate Team. Austin's got Vince! Oh no! Classic final segment with the famous "BANG 3:16" gun and Vince wetting himself. Austin and Awesome at Survivor Series is great, sensing a screwy finish in this one. Overall a great edition of RAW is WAR, looking forward to the upcoming Winter.

Coming back here for the first time in years, I'm glad to see you had a 1998 last this long and from the looks of things you are going great. I love your versions of the Nation and Corporation. I'm not sure if I can take Shamrock and Mankind as a big PPV main event seriously, but I'm sure you can make it that. Austin and Awesome should have a great brawl for the PPV. Loving the ECW guys you brought in, the ones you picked fit well with the guys you are putting them with. I'm also glad that you are pushing Regal like he should have, hopefully he stays off the drugs in your game too.

| WWF HeAT: Sunday 25th October 1998 |

Milwaukee, Wisconsin - Bradley Center

The opening video package for WWF Sunday Night HeAT aired, and we cut to the Bradley Center for this episode of HeAT. Shane McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler were on commentary, Shane apologising to Jerry several times for what happened this past month with McMahon trying to take Lawler's job. Jerry told Shane that if he got in his business again, he'd be getting more than just an ass kicking and a Piledriver.
The crowd booed as out came Mr McMahon, the fans not too pleased to see him, and the Chairman was still reclined in a wheelchair, McMahon wheeling himself out to the rampway as McMahon talked about how last Monday night was the lowest point in his entire professional career. And it's all because of Stone Cold Steve Austin! McMahon mentions that he may have offered the "Texas Rattlesnake" one final chance to impress him against Mike Awesome at the Survivor Series, but if he fails to do so, he'll be permanently removed from the World Wrestling Federation and if he ever lays his hands on him again, Austin will be arrested and sued for every single penny he has earned whilst in the company! McMahon talks about last Monday night and reveals that Ken Shamrock has officially joined the Corporation, and we will hear from the "World's Most Dangerous Man" tomorrow night on RAW is WAR. McMahon then talks about how Austin's buildup to the big match against Awesome on November 15th will involve A LOT of difficulty for him. McMahon was then interrupted by the theme of the Ministry of Darkness, and out came the "Lord of Darkness" himself, the Undertaker, accompanied by Paul Bearer. 'Taker got on the microphone, face to face with McMahon and told him that he doesn't know if McMahon recalls last Monday on RAW, but he set up a faction destined to destroy the World Wrestling Federation, and dominate the World Wrestling Federation. McMahon laughs, telling 'Taker that he's been in this company for about eight years, and he's still yet to believe that the "Deadman" is actually a threat to his Corporation, his empire! 'Taker laughs, telling him that if he wanted he could give him a Chokeslam off of this stage in less than ten seconds. The fans cheered and Vince backed his wheelchair away, 'Taker revealing that we will see a new member of the Ministry appear within the next week. He laughed evilly as McMahon wheeled off, the fans giving 'Taker a mixed reaction.
-- Commercial Break --
D-Generation X were shown arriving at the Bradley Center, without Chyna as Triple H, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws were ready for big eight-man tag team action against the Nation here in our main event.
1) The Oddities (w/Tori) vs The Headbangers |

A mismatch it seemed, as Darren Drozdov and Prince Albert have definitely become new people ever since Tori started managing them several weeks ago, the Jackyl having disappeared from the World Wrestling Federation since. Mosh and Thrasher used their agility to get by Albert as Albert and Thrasher started, the Headbangers preparing a Stage Dive just for Droz to slip into the ring, attacking Thrasher from behind and giving him a big top rope neckbreaker. The Oddities both worked over Thrasher as Mosh kept signalling for a tag, but Thrasher didn't have it in the tank, and Albert gave Thrasher a shoulderbreaker for the win!

Winners: The Oddities @ 4:25 [**1/4]

The crowd booed as the Oddities celebrated their win, Prince Albert and Darren Drozdov celebrated their win with the seductress, Tori. The Headbangers remained down in the ring, but the "Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman was shown in the backstage area nodding his head to the Oddities' win, a kendo stick in hand. In the backstage area we see Kurrgan getting attacked by two men draped in black cloaks, their faces unrecognisable, and Kurrgan was given a shot to the skull with a ladder set up against a wall in the corridor. The other man slammed a steel chair over Kurrgan's spine, and the two cloaked men left! Perhaps new identities revealed in the Ministry of Darkness! -- Commercial Break --An advertisement aired, promoting WWF Survivor Series, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, November 15th 1998 from St Louis, Missouri. Al Snow was making his way to the ring as we returned to HeAT, Snow shaking Head around rapidly, and Snow talked about how his match last Sunday was obviously the result of something he liked to call 'doing the job'! Snow talked about how people never gave him a chance to shine as Leif Cassidy. Or Avatar. And now Al Snow! But everybody still loves Head! The fans cheered, as Snow talked about how he was here to get the win, because this was all about him, and he wasn't going to become a feature of the JOB Squad! 2) Al Snow vs Brian Christopher (w/Scott Taylor) |

After several weeks working on Super Astros and Shotgun Saturday Night, Too Much were back on television, as Al Snow took on "Too Sexay" Brian Christopher. Snow and Christopher traded blows, Christopher standing his ground against the slightly larger Al Snow, Christopher targeting the foot of Snow and he stomped away at it, as well as applying a footlock, Christopher trying to keep Snow off of his feet. Snow fired back though and came off the top rope with a big moonsault, Snow preparing for the Snowplow but he then picked up Head and slammed it into the face of Christopher!

Winner: Brian Christopher @ 3:57 by disqualification [**]

"Too Hott" Scott Taylor slid into the ring and went after Al Snow, but Snow gave Taylor Head as well! Snow strutted around the ring with Head, as the official told Snow to get out of the ring, Snow leaving and talking into the camera, telling everyone that he just did the JOB! Test was shown in the backstage area standing with the Big Bossman, and the two Corporation members stood side by side and talked about how as members of the Corporation, they are here to respect all orders followed by the Chairman, Mr McMahon. Bossman told Test that he's not so pleased about these Brood scum getting a WWF Tag Team Championship opportunity out of nowhere, and they must put a stop to them before they give the Ministry of Darkness too much power. Test agreed, telling them that they would handle it for Vince. -- Commercial Break --A graphic aired, promoting Ken Shamrock's revealing of why he joined the Corporation; Stone Cold Steve Austin returning to RAW is WAR after last week's controversial occurrence; the WWF Womens Championship on the line between Jacqueline and Starla Saxton; Jeff Jarrett taking on Davey Boy Smith; Plus, will the former WWF Champion Kane return? All tomorrow night from 9 CT on USA! Michael Cole introduced us to the WWF European Champion, Owen Hart. Cole noted that Val Venis was put out with a severe neck injury last Monday night on RAW is WAR after a botched tombstone piledriver by the "Black Hart" during their title match. We were shown a replay, and Owen stood still, quietly with his sunglasses on the entire time. Owen talked about how mad he was at himself, and that he can only blame one man. Owen talks about what happened was a terrible, terrible accident, but the show must go on as WWF European Champion. He just doesn't know if he's ready yet. Owen tells Cole that he's going to take a week or two off and determine if he's really ready to do this job as champion. 3) Non-Title Match: Gangrel and Edge (w/Christian) vs The Big Bossman and Test |

This was an interesting match as it was the first official match between the Ministry of Darkness and the Corporation. The new WWF Tag Team Champions, the Brood were given the option of the 'Freebird Rule', meaning that any two members of the trio can defend the titles. Edge and Christian won the belts last Monday night on RAW is WAR, and you had to believe that the Godfather and Mark Henry were going to get a rematch in the near future. The Big Bossman started with Edge and pounded away at him in the corner, Bossman and Test taking it in turns, working away at the ribs of Edge. Edge soon fired back though, flying clothesline from the top to his fellow Canadian, the "Hired Gun", Test. Edge tagged in Gangrel and all four men soon started brawling. Edge gave the legal man, Test a Downward Spiral and then speared Bossman, and Gangrel got the cover to get the victory!

Winners: The Brood @ 4:43 [**]

The Brood celebrated their win as the crowd cheered, the new WWF Tag Team Champions claiming their belts before the lights flickered and Gangrel looked at the rafters above, seconds later Test and the Big Bossman getting soaked in blood, a Brood Bloodbath taking place! The Nation were on their way to the ring, and there was eight man tag team action up next! -- Commercial Break --We returned to Sunday Night HeAT as Test and the Big Bossman were shown freaking out in the backstage corridor, Mr McMahon looking at them and asking what just happened. They explained the situation as McMahon talked about how creepy the Brood were. They were told that they sucked tonight, but he still has faith in them being good, worthy members of the Corporation. He told them to go shower, but Vince seemed concerned with all of these Ministry cameos. 4) Eight-Man Tag Team Match: Triple H, X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws vs The Rock, Rikishi Phatu, Mark Henry, D-Lo Brown and The Godfather |

A packed main event to HeAT tonight, as Chyna had had a falling out with D-Generation X this past Monday night on RAW is WAR, and now all hell was about to break loose. D-Lo Brown and X-Pac started off, these two men having some bad blood to settle after their match last Sunday at Judgment Day, where D-Lo walked out victorious. Brown and Mark Henry double-teamed X-Pac and worked him over, keeping X-Pac under pressure of submitting, as Brown had the abdominal stretch applied. "Sexual Chocolate" then began to work the ribs and the Rock occasionally came in to pound away and get in some very confident offence on X-Pac. X-Pac soon kicked Rock right in the face with a roundhouse kick and gave D-Lo the X-Factor, X-Pac tagging in Billy Gunn, and the New Age Outlaws soon started to double-team D-Lo! Rikishi Phatu finally got in the ring, returning from a broken wrist caused over a month ago. Phatu dropped Road Dogg with the Phatu Driver just before the WWF Intercontinental Champion got the tag, Triple H with DDTs, high knees and spinebusters all around! The Godfather was given a Pedigree, and that was all she wrote.

Winners: D-Generation X @ 8:25 [**1/2]

D-Generation X celebrated their win as the Godfather remained down, the Rock standing at ringside and summoning for Mark Henry, Rikishi Phatu and D-Lo Brown to leave Godfather down in the ring! The Nation had just abandoned the Godfather in the ring, and more dissension was occurring in this DX/Nation rivalry! Sunday Night HeAT went off the air.

RAW 10/19/98 - Oh man, the hunting season skit? This should be a good Raw. Explosive way to start off with a title change. Edge & Christian get their first of hopefully many reigns here. The Brood grows strong and I think if you book all three correctly, you have a legit threat in the WWF. Ministry is here...Brood is here?! This is crazy stuff. The way you write Vince promos make it seem all too real. Awesome job with that segment. Goldust at this point in time is a real character, even more than in the past, so it will be interesting to see where you go. Holly & Runnels is unique definitely. Awesome post match segment. Mankind?! Interesting choice to be Shamrock's partner. AUSTIN IS IN! Some disintegration within DX and the eight man will be explosive to say the least. Mike Awesome bores me and I don't think he is ready to be this big of a threat honestly. Davey/Owen heating up. Thank god this is it for Sable & Jackie. Ah I like how you're doing this Owen storyline. Hope Venis isn't really hurt though. INTENTIONALLY HURT HIM?! What in the world is going on here? Eh, would have been rather interesting if you had RVD go over, but I guess it builds Awesome up. Was waiting to see Shamrock join the Corporation...only a matter of time. AUSTIN! Love that end segment and I love that you put it in. Great job and great Raw.
One of the best diaries of all time no doubt.

Great start to the show with Mr. McMahon addressing last Monday's occurrences. Interested in hearing from the newest member of the Corporation, Ken Shamrock, tomorrow on RAW is WAR. Great interaction between Undertaker and McMahon. A new member of the Ministry? Looking forward to that. Nice win for Darren Drozdov and Prince Albert against the Headbangers. Blackman gon' them up! Oh, are there two new Ministry members? Very entertaining stuff between Al Snow and Too Much, going on a Head giving spree (hehehe). Good tag team bout here. Interesting to see the Brood implement the Freebird Rule. And great to see them get the victory. Bloodbath! Lastly, huge main event, and D-X with the win was fine. Both factions are sure to implode sooner or later, I'm sure. Overall, a very good edition of HeAT. Looking forward to RAW is WAR as we continue to head towards Survivor Series.

WWF RAW is WAR: Monday 26th October 1998

Madison, Wisconsin - Kohl Center

A recap of what happened last week on this programme aired, reviewing Stone Cold Steve Austin kidnapping Mr McMahon and threatening to shoot him in the middle of the ring for re-employment. He got it, and Vince urinated himself, the Chairman totally disgraced! The opening video package for RAW is WAR aired and we cut to the Kohl Center where pyrotechnics went off, and Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed us to the show.
1) Davey Boy Smith vs Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) |

Davey Boy Smith has been struggling as of late with his brother-in-law Owen Hart, Owen having seriously injured Val Venis and put him on the shelf for six months last week with a botched tombstone piledriver. "Double J" represented the Corporation, and he fought the freedom fighting Davey Boy, Jarrett showing a lot of tenacity and obnoxiousness in this match. Davey overpowered him various times in the ring, pounding away at Jarrett and quickly setting up for the Running Powerslam, but Jarrett slipped out and attempted a roll-up, then going after the knee of Smith. Jarrett started to prepare the Figure-Four Leglock but Davey kicked him off, Davey setting up the Running Powerslam again, when suddenly Owen Hart showed up on the rampway, looking quite disorientated, out of ring attire and with a beard growing. Davey was distracted and Jarrett quickly hit the Stroke for the win.

Winner: Jeff Jarrett @ 5:19 [**1/4]

Jeff Jarrett celebrated his win and began to leave with the beautiful Debra, as Owen Hart just continued to stare into Davey Boy Smith, Smith sitting up and asking The "Black Hart" where his head was. We see Stone Cold Steve Austin in the backstage area as the "Texas Rattlesnake" seemed to be heading for the ring, next! -- Commercial Break --The glass shattered, and out came the "Texas Rattlesnake" himself, Stone Cold Steve Austin having been resigned to the World Wrestling Federation last week in a controversial scene last week on RAW is WAR, Austin having threatened and held Mr McMahon hostage before the entire Milwaukee crowd. Austin talked about how it was indeed a toy gun, and Vince just couldn't seem to grasp the fact that it was plastic! He was there threatening him for almost over an hour and didn't notice the authentic nature on the gun! Austin calls the Chairman a dumbass for falling for it, but he must say that it saved his job! Mr McMahon's voice was suddenly heard yelling, and out came McMahon with Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco and the Big Bossman. McMahon told Austin that he may have hired him last week, but Steve played with his emotions and screwed him over! And he has the right mind to sue his ass off! But, he just cannot put up with this lawsuit, and so, he wants to fire him right here and now! Austin laughs, telling Vince that he'd love to obey him, but, thanks to the contract Vince chicken-scratched last week on RAW, he can't! Austin told Vince that he has one year immunity from contract termination, and if he tries to sue him, then it'll be fun to see him get all holy when his lawyers know holy crap! The theme of the "World's Most Dangerous Man" hit, and out came Ken Shamrock, Shamrock getting loud boos. Shamrock talked about how Steve Austin seems to have overshadowed his explanation for why he joined the Corporation! He joined it because people like Austin, and people like Mankind are all holding him down! Even as number one contender, he's being held back. But on November 15th at the Survivor Series, he will prove to everyone out here that he's better than Austin and Mankind, because he'll own the WWF Championship! Vince says how Shamrock is comfier in the Corporation. It's a safe lifestyle, it's a shame that Austin never followed him and dominated the WWF with him. Austin tells Shamrock that he doesn't give a crap what he's doing, or what he's thinking of doing with Mankind. But he does know this for a fact, and that's Shamrock wants to prove himself? Austin vs Shamrock tonight! Shamrock yells that he's on as the crowd roar. In the backstage area we see the New Age Outlaws were shown standing by, and Michael Cole asked the former WWF Tag Team Champions about their chances on regaining the titles that were once theirs against the Brood tonight. Road Dogg is all hyped up, talking about how they have been without the titles for a month, and their main focus may be on the Nation, but the Nation are failing to impress ANYBODY in the World Wrestling Federation as of late! Billy Gunn talks about how he hasn't heard from Chyna in a week, but she'll come along. But tonight, the Outlaws regain the titles! -- Commercial Break --We return to RAW is WAR as Mankind was shown in the boiler room, Kevin Kelly trying to get a word with the WWF Champion as Mankind giggles, asking Kelly about what Ken Shamrock has as an entertainment value? Mankind talks about how him and Mr Socko have been trying to cheer up Vince McMahon, and he keeps shoving them away! He's a stubborn bunny! Ken Shamrock, he may be able to break ankles, but Mankind's main man, Socko, he can break Shamrock jaw! Mankind tells Kelly that he'll gladly do it tonight if he was to get the opportunity, if Shamrock is man enough! 2) Test vs Tiger Ali Singh |

A hard-hitting match ahead of us, as the young "Hired Gun" took on Tiger Ali Singh in a fist fight. Test showed a lot of arrogance in this one, overtowering Singh by several inches. Singh tried to fight back, manage to drop Test with a TKO as well as a backbreaker, Test and Singh going back and forth. Test soon took control of Singh, going right to work on the shoulder of the Singh and seemingly attempting to dislocate it. Test slammed Singh right into the ring post shoulder first, and Test applied the abdominal stretch, picking Singh up slightly to apply even more pressure! Singh finally fought out of it, hip toss to Test, and Singh nailed Test with a big diving clothesline, Singh soon attempting the Hangman's Neckbreaker just for Test to slip out, and Test nailed Singh with the Pumphandle Slam for the win.

Winner: Test @ 4:24 [**]

Test celebrated his win to loud boos before suddenly the lights went out, and the "Lord of Darkness" the Undertaker made his way out to the arena! The crowd cheered the "Deadman", as he was accompanied by Paul Bearer, Undertaker climbing into the ring, and Test began to escape! Test got to ringside when suddenly the two men in black cloaks attacked Test! These two mortal followers in the Ministry of Darkness it seemed brought Test back to the "Phenom", and Undertaker grinned evilly, the Chokeslam to the Corporation's Test! -- Commercial Break --We return to RAW is WAR as the Undertaker was still in the ring with the two cloaked men in black beside the "Lord of Darkness" and Paul Bearer. Undertaker welcomed everybody to the second step of preparing the Ministry of Darkness. Undertaker talked about how in three weeks at the Survivor Series, the Ministry of Darkness will face the Corporation, and he wants to introduce everybody to the next step. Paul demands the two cloaked men unmask themselves, and it turned out to be Justin Hawk Bradshaw and Faarooq! 'Taker talks about how Bradshaw and Faarooq are his two ex-adversaries. And they came together to become the Acolytes. The Acolytes of the Ministry. 'Taker talks about how these are the two henchmen of Hell that will prevent any injustice to be served on the sinning Corporation. Tick...tock. On November 15th, the Higher Power will watch on, as the Ministry of Darkness put an end to the Corporation and dominate the World Wrestling Federation. A replay from last Monday night aired, as it was a dramatic scene where Owen Hart defended his WWF European Championship against Val Venis. During the match, the "Black Hart" dropped Val on his head and severely injured his neck. Venis is currently at home and will hopefully be back with us in a couple of months. We see Owen Hart in the backstage area, as Davey Boy Smith confronted him, the brother-in-law of the WWF European Champion asking him where his head is at, because it's surely not at home. Owen tells Davey to spare his trash talk. His motivational garbage got old fast. Davey tells Owen that he needs to stop being such a pansy about silly little accidents and face the real world! Dog eat dog. Davey gets shoved by Owen, and Owen just left. D-Generation X were shown in the backstage area without Chyna, and Triple H and X-Pac will be accompanying the New Age Outlaws to the ring, for their WWF Tag Team Championship match! -- Commercial Break --3) WWF Tag Team Championships: Christian and Gangrel (c) (w/Edge) vs The New Age Outlaws (w/D-Generation X) |

This was our first-hour main event, and the Brood were trading blows right from the get go with the New Age Outlaws, all four men in the ring going at it, and only one team could prevail as WWF Tag Team Champions. The Brood have had so much competition in the past week as champions, going through the Corporation as well as the Nation. The Nation still not having arrived here in Madison, Wisconsin. Triple H and X-Pac were here in case of an attack from the Ministry of Darkness, as Road Dogg was worked over by Gangrel and his unorthodox style of wrestling, biting the bicep of Jesse James. Gangrel continued to work the arm with Christian, Christian with some agile and quick-witted moves catching Road Dogg off-guard. Christian missed a crossbody and "Bad Ass" Billy Gunn got the tag, Gunn with several atomic drops and dropkicks, Gunn preparing the Fame Asser on Christian but on the TitanTron we saw the Nation in the parking lot, sledgehammering the DX limo! D-Generation X looked irate, and whilst the referee was distracted, Gangrel used the WWF Tag Team titles belt to lay Gunn out for the win!

Winners and STILL WWF Tag Team Champions: The Brood @ 6:22 [**1/4]

The Brood celebrated their win, as it was revealed that Gangrel will be in the Ministry of Darkness/Corporation match at the Survivor Series, teaming with the Undertaker and the new returning Acolytes, as well as one other man. In the parking lot we see D-Generation X rushing out to their destroyed limousine, Triple H and X-Pac so irate with what the Nation did to their transportation vehicle. Suddenly, from inside the Kohl Center, it looked like the Nation had locked them out! The Nation, led by The Rock started heading for the ring! -- Commercial Break --An advertisement aired, promoting Austin vs McMahon being featured on this Thursday's edition of Celebrity Deathmatch, only on MTV. Vince McMahon was shown talking to Jeff Jarrett, Debra and Steven Regal in their locker room, as the Chairman asked "Double J" and the "Lord of Lords" to help him out and join the Corporation's team against the Ministry of Darkness. Jarrett states how they think they can popularize the Gothic culture, but this ain't the 1500s! Jarrett tells McMahon that he'll consider it, but he doesn't want the Undertaker's eyeliner on his hands after he's through with him! Regal told McMahon that he's up for a good headsmashing. McMahon says good, saying that these two, along with Test and the Big Bossman are now on the team for Survivor Series. But now they only need one more man... We return to the War Zone as The Rock led the Nation to the ring, the Godfather with them, despite the Nation abandoning him last night. D-Lo Brown introduced everyone to the Nation's show. Rock tells the fans that they paid to see DX win the WWF Tag Team Championships? Bullsh*t, they paid to see the "People's Champion"! Rock tells the fans that this rivalry with D-Generation X rages on, and they just won't give up. And so, they have 'obtained' something from DX that means a lot to them. Suddenly, Mark Henry came from the backstage area with Chyna tied up! The "Ninth Wonder of the World" was with the Nation, seemingly being kidnapped! Rock mentioned how he saw Mr McMahon get held hostage, so why can't the Nation do it too? Rock tells people to stay tuned, because he's in action next. 4) The Rock (w/The Nation and Chyna) vs Al Snow (w/Bart Gunn, Bob Holly and Scorpio) |

The "People's Champion" took on Al Snow, as he was accompanied by a union of superstars that have taken part more so on syndicated programming as of late, all of them wearing JOB Squad shirts. The meaning of 'job' is currently undefined to higher ups, as far as Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler say. The Rock stomped away at Snow as Al kept trying to fight back, Rock cutting him straight off. At least this group could fend against a Nation attack. Snow got in several shots, including a victory roll, but Rock continued to be dominant. Snow soon tried to go for the Snowplow out of nowhere, but Rock turned it right into a snap DDT! Rock prepared the People's Elbow, but Bart Gunn got on the apron, the Nation then jumping Gunn, Bob Holly and Scorpio! Rock nailed the People's Elbow for the successful three.

Winner: The Rock @ 4:11 [**1/4]

The Rock celebrated his win to loud boos, the Nation climbing into the ring, Mark Henry rolling the handcuffed Chyna into the ring. Chyna was surrounded by the Nation as the group of 'JOBbers' began to leave, Rock taking a microphone and asking how much DX care about this piece of monkey garbage valet, Chyna! Chyna was tossed into the corner by "Sexual Chocolate", and the Godfather came at Chyna with 300 pounds of the Ho Train! Mark Henry scoop slammed the "Ninth Wonder of the World" before the Rock dropped the People's Elbow on poor Chyna! The Nation soon positioned the unconscious Chyna under the bottom turnbuckle, and Rikishi Phatu went up, preparing the Banzai Drop, and the fans got ready to explode just like Chyna's fake breasts when D-Generation X hit the ring, all nine men going at it before Rock decided it was time for the Nation to retreat! Triple H and the New Age Outlaws tried to attend to Chyna, but Chyna stumbled up slowly by herself, shoving away her teammates! DX stood tall, and Chyna just proved she was as tough as nails! -- Commercial Break --Terri Runnels was shown in the men's locker room, wandering through the shower room. She laughed seductively and unzipped her dress, jumping right in with whoever was already in there! 5) Jacqueline and Prince Albert and Darren Drozdov (w/Luna Vachon and Tori) vs Sable and the Headbangers |

A mixed tag team match here, as Jacqueline continues to prove herself as a threat to Sable, constantly using the WWF Womens Championship as a reminder of why Jacqueline is better than the bombastic blonde. The 'Oddities' name seemed to have dropped, as there was no mention of it. Albert and Droz wore leather, as did Tori. Luna Vachon didn't get on too well with Tori at ringside. Albert and Droz double-teamed Mosh as Thrasher tried to get the fans behind Mosh, Mosh soon escaping a nerve hold by Droz and firing back, Mosh tagging in Thrasher, but before long all six star were brawling in the ring! Luna tried to get involved but Sable took her out, Mosh with a Stage Dive from the top on Albert! Sable decided to follow, Stage Dive of her own on Jackie for the win!

Winners: Sable and the Headbangers @ 4:42 [**]

Sable celebrated her win with the Headbangers, as Luna Vachon and Jacqueline seemed outraged from ringside. Tori took Prince Albert and Darren Drozdov on leashes, annoyed by the WWF Womens Champion costing her boys the match. Sable motioned that November 15th would be the date she takes it home to her. In the backstage area, Terri Runnels was shown coming out of the shower in nothing but her towel, and who to follow her, but BOTH members of Too Much! Scott Taylor told Terri that her favor she asked for, definitely will go ahead now. Terri licked her lips and left the scene. An advertisement aired, promoting WWF Survivor Series, live on pay-per-view on Sunday, November 15th 1998 from St Louis, Missouri. -- Commercial Break --Mr McMahon was shown in his wheelchair, talking to Mike Awesome and Shawn Michaels, the Chairman telling the Commissioner that he really needs a fifth guy, and he wants Shawn to be that fifth guy. The "Heartbreak Kid" reminds Vince that he will be training Mike Awesome for his match with Stone Cold Steve Austin unfortunately...but at least this way, the "Gladiator" will wipe the "Texas Rattlesnake" out of the World Wrestling Federation forever. Vince laughs, shaking Shawn's hand before wheeling off. Awesome asks Michaels where his competition is tonight. Michaels told Awesome that they'd go find some. 6) The Acolytes (w/Paul Bearer and the Undertaker) vs Bart Gunn and Bob Holly (w/Scorpio) |

Another feature of the JOB Squad shirt wearers, as the former Mid-South Connection took on the Acolytes and basically stood no chance instantly. We saw another side to the one-time Nation leader, one-time freedom fighting Faarooq. And we saw a more unforgiving side to Bradshaw, once a New Blackjack alongside Barry Windham. The Acolytes tossed Gunn and Holly around the ring, as Bradshaw took Gunn's head off with a BIG Clothesline From Hell! Faarooq gave Holly a Dominator, and the Acolytes covered their respective victims for the win.

Winners: The Acolytes @ 2:26 [N/A]

The crowd booed as the Acolytes celebrated their win to loud boos, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer getting onto the apron as Scorpio tried to attack Faarooq with a suplex, Faarooq and Bradshaw instead giving Scorpio a double powerbomb! The Acolytes, the "Lord of Darkness" and Paul Bearer left as the Ministry of Darkness. Mr McMahon was shown begging his son Shane McMahon to position himself as the fifth guy on the side of the Corporation against the Ministry of Darkness. Shane told Vince that he's working that night already: announcing Sunday Night HeAT. Vince tells Shane that he'll give him anything if he can help the Corporation take out the Ministry revellers. Shane laughed, telling his father that he'd do anything, but he's not getting in the same right as guys like what we've just seen. Ken Shamrock was shown standing by with Michael Hayes, as Hayes asks the "World's Dangerous Man" for a deeper couple of comments on why he turned his back on the WWF fans. Shamrock talks about how people used to walk over him, and he used to have to be the underdog every night. But that's not happening anymore. He is his own pilot, and he has faith in the Corporation. Shamrock talks about how if you can't beat them, join them, when he was loved by those idiots out there when he lost to Shawn Michaels last December for the WWF Chmapionship, nobody cared about it. Not anymore. On November 15th, Mankind WILL get his ankle snapped. -- Commercial Break --7) Sabu (w/Rob Van Dam) vs Christian (w/The Brood) |

An intriguing light heavyweight match here, as the "Arabian Nightmare" went up to face the newcomer, Christian in singles action. The Brood with Christian, Rob Van Dam and Sabu were dangerously outnumbered. Sabu flew around the ring and nailed several hurricanranas, but Christian copied this, several diving clotheslines connecting. Christian went up and came off with a diving crossbody, but Sabu kicked him right in the ribs! Sabu nailed a bulldog and set up for the Arabian Facebuster, Christian remaining stood up and giving Sabu a reverse DDT! Near fall, Christian continued to work Sabu until Sabu came out of nowhere with another Arabian Facebuster, this one connecting and he gained the three!

Winner: Sabu @ 5:27 [**1/4]

Sabu celebrated his win as the crowd cheered, Rob Van Dam then getting into the ring and running up with a diving senton out of the ring, landing on all three members of the Brood! RVD and Sabu seemed destined for the WWF Tag Team Championships. Shane McMahon was shown arguing with Mr McMahon in the backstage area, but unfortunately the audio was cut due to requests of the Chairman, but things seemed to be occurring with the McMahon Family! Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler hype us up for our main event, which is next. -- Commercial Break --8) Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Ken Shamrock |

Such a hard-hitting main event, as the "Texas Rattlesnake" made what could have been one of his last few RAW is WAR appearances against the number one contender to the WWF Championship. The "World's Most Dangerous Man" showed much more of a bitter attitude towards Austin, something none of us had ever seen before, Shamrock having shown his satisfaction with the Corporation. Shamrock worked over the ankle of Austin as well as the knee, Shamrock continuing to pound away at Stone Cold with no remorse for his opponent. Austin was taken to the limits, but Austin fired back and seemingly had the Stunner in mind, when suddenly Mike Awesome hit the ring with Shawn Michaels shortly after, and the "Gladiator" took Austin out with a clothesline! Mankind then stumbled out of the crowd, and applied the Mandible Claw on Shamrock at ringside, the crowd going nuts as chaos had just been unleashed!

Winner: No Contest @ 8:14 [**1/2]

Ken Shamrock tried to reverse the Mandible Claw with a cross armbreaker at ringside, but Mr Socko was too far in the "World's Most Dangerous Man"'s jaw to do anything! Mike Awesome continued to attack Stone Cold in the ring, the "Gladiator" knocking him senseless with the Awesome Bomb! The Commissioner even got involved, as Shawn Michaels cut Mankind's Mandible Claw off with the Sweet Chin Music, and the Corporation had cleared the scene! Shamrock stood face to face with Awesome, his rival as of two weeks ago, and Shawn got between them, the Corporation standing tall over the "Texas Rattlesnake" and the WWF Champion! RAW is WAR went off the air.
