Monday Night Raw
2/21/11

The intro goes off and we are introduced to the show by josh Matthews and Michael Cole who say that Jerry will not be broadcasting tonight due to last night’s match with The Miz. They run down tonight’s matches and Cole goes on a rant about how Jerry shouldn’t have been in the match with the miz and should be commentating because that’s his job and The Miz is AWESOME

As if on cue The Miz comes out with Alex Riley and goes to the ring and gets a microphone. He said that everyone thought that Jerry Lawler was going to beat him and win the title for his mother and finally go to WrestleMania. Well it didn’t happen and he is still the WWE Champion. He then focuses his attention to Cena and says no matter what Cena does at Wrestlemania. Cena can’t beat the Miz because he’s the Miz and he’s awesome! Cena’s theme hits as he comes down and stands on the ramp. They go back and forth saying really to each other then Cena gets serious and says that he can beat the miz 9 out of 10 times and he’ll beat him at wrestlemania. He then says that Alex Riley isn’t an apprentice he’s just an insurance policy for The Miz. Cena then challenges Riley to a match but the Miz says Riley isn’t ready yet. Jerry Lawler’s theme plays as he stands next to Cena. He says what about a tag match Jerry and Cena vs the Miz and Riley the Miz doesn’t agree to that and says that Lawler should go back to announcing the GM then emails Cole. Cole goes up to the podium and says that tonight’s main event will be Jerry Lawler and Cena vs The Miz and Riley tonight. Cena and Jerry smile as we go to commercial.

We come back from the break and William Regal is in the ring getting waiting for his opponent for tonight. Santino Marella’s theme hits and Santino comes down with Vladimir Kozlov.

Santino Marella w/ Vladmir Kozlov Vs William Regal
The two start the match circling each other Marella goes for a quick takedown but Regal avoids it. Regal takes advantage of the miss and starts to hit Santino. Regal then hits a European uppercut followed by a neckbreaker he pins Santino for a two count. Regal goes for the Regal stretch but Santino counters it and knocks Regal down after a couple of punches Santino then irish whips Regal into the ropes and goes for the back body drop but Regal kicks him. He then hits the Regal Cutter followed by the Regal stretch. Kozolv distracts the ref as Santino taps out but the ref doesn’t see it. Regal then knocks Kozolv off the apron as he goes back to Santino. Santino gets back to his feet and hits a dropkick to Regal followed by another dropkick Santino then hits Regal with The Cobra and pins Regal and gets the win.
Winner: Santino Marella

After the match Kozlov and Santino celebrate the victory

Commercial Break

We come back and Sheamus is standing in the back. He says that at WrestleMania he lost to Triple H last year but the month after he ended Triple H’s career. He says that Triple H was a legend and now that legend is gone thanks to him. To celebrate the anniversary Sheamus is going to end someone else’s career later tonight Sheamus hopes Triple h is watching because it will be a night that no one will forget.

In another backstage area Daniel Bryan is with Gail Kim. Daniel wishes Gail luck against Nicki tonight Gail thanks Daniel and says with Daniel in Gail’s corner Gail can’t lose. Bryan smiles and nods his head in agreement and Daniel says that “they” will make the Bellas pay.

Commercial Break

We come back from commercial break and Nicki Bella comes out with Brie and they wait for Gail as her theme hits as she comes out with Daniel Bryan.

Nicki Bella w/Brie Bella vs Gail Kim w/Daniel Bryan
This was a back and forth matchup with both divas hitting moves on each other and getting pin attempts. At one point the ref took a bump and was down Nicki goes to get a chair but Daniel stops her. Brie low blows Daniel and Nicki gets the chair and goes back into the ring with it. She goes to hit gail with the chair but Gail dropkicks the chair into Nicki’s face The ref then gets up and sees the chair and puts it outside the ring. Gail pins Nicki and gets the victory.
Winner: Gail Kim

We go back to the announcers table as they hype the main event tag team match as well as the return of the Undertaker. Josh Matthews and Michael Cole wonder what the Undertaker is going to do and when he’s going to show up.

Commercial break

Sheamus comes down to the ring and Yoshi Tatsu is already in the ring

Sheamus vs Yoshi Tatsu
This was a short match with Sheamus dominating the whole way Yoshi getting little to no offense in there. Sheamus would toy with Yoshi pinning him only to get up and do more damage to Yoshi. Sheamus would finally end it with a Brough Kick followed by a Celtic Cross he then pins Yoshi and gets the win.
Winner: Sheamus

Aftermath: Sheamus was not done with Yoshi as he picks Yoshi back up and hits another Brough Kick. He goes outside and dismantles the announce table he then gets Yoshi outside of the ring and put Yoshi onto the table and gets up on the table. Sheamus then hits a Celtic Cross through the table as the crowd and Michael Cole and Josh Matthews are speechless.

There is another promo for the Undertaker’s return as we go to commercial

We come back from commercial showing a during the break video of Yoshi being carried out on a stretcher. Michael Cole and Josh Matthews are still speechless as to what they saw
The New Nexus theme hits as Michael McGillicutty comes down to the ring John Morrison soon follows

Michael McGillicutty w/New Nexus vs. John Morrison
This was another back and forth match with Michael hitting a few moves then Morrison hitting moves. Both superstars had a lot of pin attempts throughout the match. The New Nexus tried to get involved and they ended up getting ejected leaving only Michael and John. John would hit a series of moves and would hit a corkscrew plancha followed by the Starship Pain. and gets the victory.
Winner: John Morrison

Aftermath: The New Nexus come back down and they all beatdown on John Morrison then leave him unconscious in the ring.

Commercial Break

Back from the commercial break and the Miz and Alex Riley come out and Michael Cole drools over the Miz. John Cena comes out and stands at ringside followed by Jerry Lawler as Michael yells at Lawler through the headphones.

John Cena and Jerry Lawler vs Miz and Alex Riley
Cena and Riley start off the match Cena would dominate Riley and Miz refused to be tagged in. Cena would pin Riley only for it to be broken up by the Miz Cena would then take advantage of Riley once again. Miz would eventually get into the match after Cena tags to Lawler and Miz would dominate Lawler. They go to the last Commercial Break they come back from break and the Miz has Lawler in a headlock but Lawler doesn’t tap out. Lawler would fight out of the hold and tags to Cena and Miz tags Riley back in and Cena hits the Attitude Adjustment on Riley and pins only for Miz to break up the count again. The end of the match would come when Cena would knock down the Miz and tag in Lawler to pin Riley but Cole distracts the ref. Lawler is arguing with Cole, Riley knocks down Cena and rolls up Lawler for the victory.
Winners: Miz and Alex Riley

Aftermath: Miz and Riley celebrate their victory when the lights go out and lightning hits the ring posts. When the lights come back on both Riley and Miz and the Undertaker is in the ring standing over them. Then the lights go back out and on the titantron 2/21/11 flashes on screen followed by “is now”. The lights come back on and Sting is in the ring standing behind Taker pointing his bat at Taker and the crowd goes insane. Undertaker turns around and gets hit with the bat by sting as the crowd is in shock as to what they just saw as Sting stands over Taker with his bat raised high as the show comes to a close.
