Hey guys,
I was watching Wrestlemania 9 earlier and Jim Ross said something that interested me during the main event when Bret Hart was walking to the ring.
"The millions of fans watching at home and listening on the radio"
First off is the WWE still on the radio in the US?
And is there anyone old enough that actually remembers listening to it on the radio, if so, what was it like?

It interested me especially in regards to WM9, because I was wondering if they used the same commentators or not because Ross/Savage/Heenan seemed all over the place at points of that event and that'd make it very difficult for people listening to get the picture.

It's true. Local media in some markets used to air big events on the radio. I wish they still did, that would be awesome.

Imagine if Striker were to host something like that...people scrolling through the stations would be dumbfounded as to why there's a station with nothing but '80s song references nonstop.

Ross used to do a weekend "Wrestling with Jim Ross" Radio on AM 750 WSB out of Atlanta in his WCW days, he continued that show even a bit after he started with the WWF
