| Monday Night RAW on USA August 16th, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA. Episode 898 - Order: Restored. |

(Credit: Jord. I wasn't feeling very imaginative on the header front and stole this because it looked pretty cool!) After a brief summary of the previous night's events, RAW kicks off with it's opening video package and pyrotechnics, with Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler welcoming the WWE Universe to the show. The theme of John Cena plays, and the purple clad crowd favourite makes his way out to a very positive reaction. He starts off by saying that last night, the rebels of Monday Night Raw, The Nexus, were defeated in the biggest main event of the biggest pay per view of the Summer, Summerslam, last night, and will NOT be here tonight! He says that they aren't backstage, and they aren't in the crowd, and so they aren't in the arena, so tonight, he can once more focus on claiming back what he was robbed of thanks to the Nexus, the WWE Championship! The mention of this brings out Randy Orton. Orton says that he respects what Cena and the other RAW Superstars did last night to restore order to Monday Nights, but only he deserves another shot at Sheamus, because Sheamus cheated to keep hold of his championship last night. RAW's most popular superstars continue to argue and look close to coming to blows, but the Anonymous General Manager sends an email for Michael Cole to read. He says that for now, he is going to hold back on deciding a new number one contender to the WWE Championship, which gets some boo's. But the Anonymous GM is not done, and says tonight John Cena and Randy Orton must team up, as they will take on the rekindled friendship of Edge and Chris Jericho in main event tag team action! The announcement hypes up the crowd, and closes the first part of the show! ------------------------- Monday Night RAW returns with Bret 'The Hitman' Hart in the ring holding two new Championship belts. He grabs a microphone, and says that the two Championships he is holding are the NEW WWE Tag Team Championships, and from now on they will be replacing the Unified Tag Team Championships. He then calls out The Hart Dynasty, and hands them the new Championships, congratulating them on all their success. However, all this brings out the Uso's, who say that if the Hart Dynasty are as good a team as they claim to be, they'll put those Tag Team Championships up for grabs right now! The Hart Dynasty agrees, and the impromptu title match begins! The Hart Dynasty def. The Uso's to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships after Jey Uso taps out to Tyson Kidd's Sharpshooter. The Hart Dynasty celebrate the win with their new Tag Team Championships, but then 'The Gatecrashers' Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer strike, throwing Hart Smith out of the ring, before hitting the Reverse DDT and Heat Seeking Elbow combination on Kidd. The two then grab the new WWE Tag Team Championships, and pose with them, sending a message to the Hart Dynasty that they want the gold! Commercials begin following this. ------------------------- RAW returns with the commentary team hyping the return to WWE Television of former NXT Rookie and Team WWE hero Daniel Bryan later on tonight in one on one action. Another contest begins following this. United States Champion The Miz def. Evan Bourne following the Skull Crushing Finale. After the match, The Miz grabs a microphone. He says that last night he was insulted thanks to a snub by Team WWE, not only because of the fact that he, the Awesome One, The Miz, was turned down, but also because he was turned down in favour of is pathetic excuse for a rookie, Daniel Bryan! He says that Daniel better watch his back, because now he's not in the high school gyms, and the bingo halls, he's in the big league, the WWE, and after the pathetic way he performed on NXT, he doesn't deserve to be. Frustrated, Miz leaves ringside, as another break begins. ------------------------- R-Truth def. Ted DiBiase with the Lie Detector.Following the match up, Randy Orton is seen backstage walking when he bumps into WWE Champion Sheamus. He warns him that as soon as he's #1 Contender, he's going to pay for the little stunt he pulled last night, and he's going to pay that debt in gold. Sheamus laughs at Orton, saying he's beaten him three times this year on Pay Per View, and it'd be a joke if anyone thought that he could beat him now. Orton and Sheamus square up, but road agents pull them apart, as a "Don't Try This At Home" package plays and commercials follow. ------------------------- Josh Matthews is interviewing John Cena when RAW returns. He asks him how he feels to be able to get back in the hunt for the WWE Championship now that Nexus isn't around anymore, to which Cena replies that it feels great! He says that The Nexus have been removed from RAW thanks to a great team effort last night, and that he's glad that despite a few hiccups they were able to get the job done. He then walks away, as the action returns to the ring. WWE Champion Sheamus def. Mark Henry following the Brogue Kick. After this contest which opened the second hour of RAW, the camera goes backstage to Josh Matthews who is stood with Daniel Bryan. He asks Bryan how it feels to be back in the WWE after it looked like his career here was over. He says it's fantastic to be back, and that tonight he'll win his return match, and then after that he's looking to right the wrong that was his terrible win loss record on NXT, and go onto Championship glory! The camera then cuts to Alicia Fox, who is walking to the ring, and the commentators note her rematch for the Divas Championship is next! ------------------------- Melina def. Alicia Fox to retain the Divas Championship following the Primal Scream.Melina is celebrating the successful title defense when Team LayCool of SmackDown! make their way out onto the stage. The two explain that they are wanting to make history, and so at Night of Champions, they challenge Melina to a Unfication bout, where the Womens and Divas Championships will be unified! Melina looks unsure, but LayCool goade her and goade her until she snaps and accepts their challenge! LayCool smile, as the commercials roll in. ------------------------- Backstage, John Morrison is congratulating R-Truth on his win earlier on tonight in the locker room, before going on to talk about how they both played a key part in the victory last night against The Nexus. Chris Jericho and Edge walk in, and remind the two that they were the first two eliminated for Team WWE, and they were the first two to let the side down. It looks as if the two teams are about to fight, but instead Morrison and Truth decide that it's not worth it and walk away, as the action returns to the ring. Daniel Bryan def. William Regal after Regal submitted to the LeBell Lock.Afterwards, Bryan celebrates his win, helping his trainer and mentor Regal to his feet, and shaking his hand. However as Regal heads to the back, he is attacked by The Miz, who smashes him in the face with the Money in the Bank breifcase. Miz then walks away, smiling, having sent a message to Bryan. ------------------------- Chris Jericho and Edge vs. John Cena and Randy Orton went to a no-contest when WWE Champion Sheamus attacked all four men. After Sheamus had attacked all four men, hitting them with his signature Brogue Kick, the Anonymous General Manager sent an email for Michael Cole to read. The email states that as a result of Sheamus' actions just now, he has made a decision regarding the #1 Contendership to the WWE Championship. Next week on RAW, Chris Jericho, Edge, John Cena, and Randy Orton will battle in a Fatal Four Way to name a NEW #1 Contender to the WWE Championship! Following this announcement, Monday Night RAW ends, with the commentators bidding the viewers good night and telling them to tune in to see who the new #1 Contender will be next week!

(Credit: Jord Chaz. I wasn't feeling very imaginative on the header front and stole this because it looked pretty cool!) Very strong start to RAW. Orton/Cena vs. Edge/Jericho is huge. Looking forward to that. Nice segment with Bret to introduce the new belts, and a decent defense by the Hart Dynasty. Dislike the post-match attack. I don't feel Archer and Hawkins are a credible threat. Miz defeating Bourne is fine. Miz/Bryan would be good if only to put over Bryan. Seems like you're going with another Orton/Sheamus match judging by this segment with both of them. Cena's constant mentioning of the Nexus not being there leads me to believe they'll be costing him the main event. Unification Match was expected, and I'm predicting a LayCool win. Bryan/Regal is cool. Good to see Bryan pick up the win. Miz's post match attack was expected but cool. Surprised with the ending. Was expecting some sort of Nexus appearance but Sheamus appearing instead is nice story progression. Fatal Four Way sounds awesome. I think Orton's gonna get this one (maybe this is where Nexus will come back at Cena?) and for Sheamus to go on to drop the belt at NOC. Overall, a pretty decent RAW. Good job.

WWE RAW: Monday 16th August 2010...Alright, interested with the layout, this should be pretty good. Nice promo with John Cena in the ringto kick off the show, I suppose we are preparing for a Championship Scramble match for the WWE Championship headed into Night of Champions. I'd love some originality and instead doing a Scramble match to determine a number one contender at Night of Champions. Or varying the rules of the match and making it elimination style. Bret Hart introducing the new WWE Tag Team Championships, meh. I much preferred the four titles to the new belts, honestly. Obvious for the Hart Dynasty to retain the titles against the Usos, you need to make Jimmy and Jey credible, don't leave them to be abused. Do like the little notes such as Daniel Bryan returning to RAW hype. The Miz's promo was nice after a decent win against Evan Bourne, it's obvious we are getting Miz and Bryan for the WWE United States Championship, would be great if you tried to extend it to Hell in a Cell instead of just adding John Morrison to the equation. R-Truth beating Ted Dibiase: hope you make Dibiase look better than he did. Break his relationship with Maryse off, Maryse can do so much better. Don't like John Cena having an interview after opening the show. Also hating the lack of Nexus on this show. I know order is restored, but it's a dick move for the Nexus to just disappear. They are too successful. Sheamus beating Mark Henry was fine, nothing wrong here. Melina beating Alicia Fox was likely, good defense of the WWE Divas Championship although it is rare for two titles to be at stake on RAW these days. Looking forward to the WWE Divas and Womens Championship Unification match, please make the undisputed title the Womens Championship. Daniel Bryan beating William Regal was obvious, the best way to reintroduce Bryan. More Bryan vs Miz hype. Lastly, nice tag team match obviously setting up a Scramble match, wait: fatal four-way match for the contenders spot? Interesting. Overall, a nice starter show, but I dislike how you just killed off Nexus. Also not too sold on the layout yet.
WWE NXT: Tuesday 17th August 2010...Nice to see the WWE Trivia take place, Kaval winning I suppose is alright. Should have saved this challenge for later in the series. Cody Rhodes and Husky Harris beating MVP and Percy Watson is fine. I hope MVP stays around in this diary, honestly. Harris is a good part of NXT Season 2, I hope he sticks around longer. Kofi Kingston and Michale McGillicutty beating Alex Riley and The Miz was odd, weird how it's all the Rookies pinning other Rookies. Some Pros involved would be nice. I wonder if you're going to do NXT Season 3 with the divas. Or Season 3 at all. I mean, Season 3 was on WWE.com, not television. Meh, shame Percy Watson was eliminated, pretty good promo though. Interested who goes next week. Acceptable show, could have used another match.
WWE Superstars: Thursday 19th August 2010...JTG beating Chavo Guerrero was obviously going to happen, JTG's the better man here although I really do not see either man going too far any time soon. Chris Masters beating Trent Barreta is fine, I sort've liked the little Dudebusters/Masters feud. Hope the Dudebusters and Masters get on SmackDown occasionally. Santino Marella beating Primo was very obvious, honestly. I hope Primo soon gets somewhat well respected. John Morrison definitely had to win, nice win against Zack Ryder. Overall, decent show I find. This is going good. Keep up with the diary.

| Friday Night SmackDown! on MNTV August 20th, 2010 in Bakersfield, CA. Episode 572 - Introducing Alberto Del Rio... |

SmackDown! opens with a video package highlighting the return of The Undertaker at Summerslam, only for him to once again fall victim to his younger brother Kane! The usual opening video and pyrotechnics follow, with Todd Grisham and Matt Striker welcoming the fans to the show! Rey Mysterio then makes his way out to the ring, grabbing a microphone upon entering the ring. He says that at Summerslam, he let the fans and himself down by not winning the World Championship back from Kane, but he is promising that his quest to be World Champion is not over, and that he will once again prove the critics wrong and reach the top of the mountain! At this point, an unfamiliar theme plays, before a sharp dressed man makes his way out to the ring. He introduces himself to the WWE Universe, saying his name is Alberto Del Rio, but we already know that. He says that everybody in his home country of Mexico loves Rey Mysterio, and he is an icon for his tremendous ability in the ring and the way he revolutionised American wrestling. But he says that he doesn't understand why his country loves a man who jumped the border to California, and is nothing more than a "humilde perro" when compared to a man of royal blood line, and loyalty to his country such as himself. He says his country should respect him, not Rey Mysterio! Rey says that the way he carries himself and speaks to other is of someone who doesn't deserve respect, and needs to be taught a lesson in it! Alberto lunges for Rey, but Rey ducks, and trips Alberto onto the ropes, before attempting a 619, but Alberto gets out of the way! He then leaves the ring, slams his scarf down, and challenges Rey to a contest, a challenge that Rey accepts! The first part of SmackDown! ends as a commercial break begins! ------------------------- Drew McIntyre def. Christian with the Future Shock DDT.As McIntyre celebrates, the World Heavyweight Champion Kane makes his way down to the ring. He grabs McIntyre by the throat, and nails him with a Chokeslam, and does the same to Christian when he begins to get to his feet. He then walks backstage, as another commercial break comes in. ------------------------- SmackDown! returns with Kofi Kingston in Teddy Long's office. He is about to ask a question, but Teddy cuts him off, saying that he's getting another shot at Ziggler next week with the Intercontinental Championship on the line! Kofi thanks Teddy, and the action returns to the ring. 'Dashing' Cody Rhodes def. Matt Hardy via pinfall following the Beautiful Disaster.Just as with the previous contest, the World Heavyweight Champion Kane made his way down to the ring, and hit a chokeslam on both men, laying them out! He then left the ringside area, bewildering the commentators and fans alike, as another commercial break begins! ------------------------- SmackDown! returns with Teddy Long pacing his office floor. Vickie Guerrero walks in with Dolph Ziggler, the two complaining about Kofi Kingston getting another shot at the gold, but Teddy asks them to be quiet and leave. The SmackDown! General Manager is unsure of what to do with the situation with Kane, and isn't sure of what's causing it. He asks the camera's to leave, slamming his door shut, as the action returns to the ring. MVP vs. Jack Swagger goes to a no-contest when Kane attacks both men.Kane begins to leave the ringside area, but SmackDown!'s General Manager makes his way out to the ring. He says that he wants to know why Kane feels it neccesary to attack his Superstars. Kane says that he is just proving all these people wrong, saying he is the superior Brother of Destruction! This statement triggers the signs of the Undertaker, the lights going off and the gong sounding, but Kane is not phased, saying that he is better than Undertaker! Long then says that if Kane does attack again, he'll be stripped of his World Heavyweight Championship on the spot! Kane leaves the ring, angered by Long's ruling as a break comes in! ------------------------- SmackDown! returns with the 'Gatecrashers' Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer in the ring, Hawkins holding a microphone in his hand. He says on Monday Night, he and Archer sent a message to the WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty, telling them that they want a shot at the titles! Teddy Long then appears on stage once more, saying that lucky for them, The Hart Dynasty were so angered by their actions on Monday, they travelled here tonight, so the Gatecrashers can have their Championship match right now! The Hart Dynasty def. Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships when Archer gave in to Smith's Sharpshooter. The Hart Dynasty celebrate the big win, holding up the new Tag Team Championships, as the commentators hyped the Straight Edge Society appearing after the break. ------------------------- CM Punk makes his way out towards the ring as SmackDown! returns, with his Straight Edge Society following behind. He grabs a microphone, and says he is dissapointed in both Gallows and Mercury, saying that they should've done a better job at Summerslam when faced with the literally giant task of facing The Big Show. He ridicules both men, continually putting them down, but then begins to move onto Big Show. He says he likes to make people laugh by embarrasing other people, but the only thing that's embarrasing is his size. He calls him the 'freak show' and the 'fat fighter', with these insults causing the crowd to boo him. He continues to verbally abuse Show until the man himself makes an appearance to the biggest cheer of the night so far! Show looks ready for a fight, and Punk deploys Gallows and Mercury, both of whom are dispensed easily. Punk then comes face to face with Show, falling off balance when he approaches him, and Show picks him up by his t-shirt, threatening him with the Knockout Punch. Punk is scared, but is only acting, as a tall muscular man came into the ring, nailing Show with a big boot, before lifting him up and tossing him out of the ring! The unknown man then places his hands in the position for the Straight Edge Pledge, as Punk smiles, and helps Mercury and Gallows to their feet, the two also smiling. Serena then leads the four to the backstage area, as Show remains layed out on the outside of the ring, another commercial break beginning. ------------------------- Co-Womens Champion Michelle McCool def. Kelly Kelly with the Faith Breaker. After the match, McCool and Layla hold their Womens Championship pieces together, showing them to Divas Champion Melina, who was on commentary for the bout. The three divas stare each other out, as Grisham and Striker hype Alberto Del Rio's in ring debut against Rey Mysterio next! ------------------------- The final part of SmackDown! now began, with Rey Mysterio making his way out first, followed by Del Rio, who had a very extravagant entrance including a personal ring announcer named Ricardo Rodriguez, driving a Bentley into the arena, and a rain style pyrotechincs display. When he entered the ring, the main event got underway. Alberto Del Rio def. Rey Mysterio via submission when Rey tapped out to a Cross Armbreaker. After the bell, Ricardo Rodriguez handed Del Rio a chair, which he placed on Rey Mysterio's arm, before stomping on it, causing Rey to cry out in pain. Del Rio then locked in the Cross Armbreaker once more, with Rey frantically tapping out. Del Rio then kicked Rey out under the bottom rope, mouthing that Rey was 'trash in his ring'. The night ended with Rodriguez rasing the arm of Alberto, the WWE's newest Superstar successful in his debut, as Striker and Grisham signed off this edition of SmackDown!

WWE SmackDown: Friday 20th August 2010...I thought the header said 'SmackDown on MTV' first time I read it. Good promo with Rey Mysterio, and glad that you are retaining Alberto Del Rio's debut as involving Rey. Looking forward to the main event. Just avoid pushing Del Rio to the main event immediately please. Drew McIntyre and Christian had a good match, but Kane beating him down did little for me, and little for McIntyre. I am hoping that Kofi Kingston doesn't get another WWE Intercontinental Championship opportunity after next week, but could see a rematch occurring at Night of Champions. Either way keep the title on Dolph Ziggler and I'll be happy. Cody Rhodes and Matt Hardy after that solid opening contest was a bit too soon perhaps, obvious that Cody would win. I would still love either Christian or Matt to turn heel on the other like in real life. Another attack by Kane, meh. I suppose it's leading onto the Kane and Undertaker promos, would've given Kane a hell of a lot of momentum had he attacked Theodore Long, too. Shame MVP and Jack Swagger got this treatment though. I feel the WWE Tag Team Championships match between these two teams should have been held off a little bit. Maybe for an episode of RAW. The Hart Dynasty with the win was likely. The Straight Edge Society debuting a new member to oppose Big Show was interesting. i hated this feud, it made CM Punk look stupid. Michelle McCool beating Kelly Kelly was obvious. The womens division on SmackDown in this stage was abysmal. Lastly, obvious Del Rio would beat Mysterio as it makes most sense for the debut of Del Rio. A decent episode of SmackDown.

-I fell for the MTV too. Good promo to kick off the show. Mysterio and Del Rio tonight sounds cool. -McIntyre over Christian sounds like a good call and that one can go either way. -Cody Rhodes over Matt Hardy was realistic. I hope you push Cody Rhodes to the moon. -Kane attacking in the first three matches seems odd, but something I could picture Kane doing. -I would love to see Archer and Hawkins win the titles soon, but here them not winning here was the right decision. -Del Rio's debut was pretty good. Him winning was the best decision to make. -Solid show.

on USA August 23rd, 2010 in Los Angeles, CA.Episode 899 - A Contender Or Two.

After the usual RAW intro video and pyrotechnics, and the commentators welcoming the WWE Universe to the show, WWE Champion Sheamus makes his way out to the ring. He says last week he sent a message to the four men vying for a shot at his title that he is better than each and everyone of them. He tells Orton and Edge that they're yet to win a World Championship in 2010, and that the dry spot they are going throught right now isn't going to end anytime soon. This draws out Randy Orton, who is closely followed by Edge, the two rivals staring each other, and then Sheamus down. Orton tells Sheamus that they have unfinished business, and at Night of Champions that business will become 'finished' when he defeats him to become the new WWE Champion. Edge shakes his head, telling the 'garden snake' that all he's felt all summer is Spear's, before reminding 'Casper' that the first time they met, he suffered the same fate. Sheamus takes offense to Edge comments, ramming the WWE Championship into his face, before attempting a Brogue Kick on Orton, which is ducked. Orton then hits his backbreaker before he looks like he is preparing for the RKO, but the preperations are cut short by a huge Spear from Edge! Edge then looks over the carnage, pulling at his hair, before heading to the back as his theme song plays, and the first break of the night comes in. ------------------------- RAW returns with Daniel Bryan backstage, warning William Regal of his opponent tonight, The Miz, and how he has a horrible mean streak, Bryan concerned for the man he calls his true mentor's wellbeing. Regal says that Miz doesn't worry him, and that tonight, Miz is going to pay for his actions last week. Bryan says that he's going to go to the ring with Regal just to make sure that nothing funny goes down, with Regal saying thank you to Bryan for the offer, but telling him he's in a 'dog eat dog' world now, and he needs to man up a bit if he doesn't like seeing friends get hurt. Bryan smiles, and says he's just as much of a "man's man" as Regal is, the two smiling as the opening contest gets underway. Ted DiBiase def. Mark Henry with the Million Dollar Dream.DiBiase celebrates the huge submission victory with Maryse, the commentators saying that DiBiase picked up a big win here tonight, as a break begins. ------------------------- Backstage, John Cena is seen in the locker room. WWE RAW: Monday 23rd August 2010...Nice promo to begin with Sheamus in the ring and basically setting up for what we will come into with Edge and Randy Orton's involvement. I found it interesting, but am still wondering where this goes with four weeks until Night of Champions. 900th episode next week, wonder if you're doing anything for it, would be realistic for you to. I do like how Daniel Bryan and William Regal now have an alliance or terms of respect somehow, it could potentially give Regal something more to do. Play along with this scenario. Ted Dibiase beating Mark Henry is fine, gives Dibiase something to do at last, but you could have had a stronger opening contest. Nice show of respect by Melina against Gail Kim, the win was rightful and I'd prefer Melina winning the unification match at Night of Champions, but I understand Michelle McCool or Layla winning. John Morrison and R-Truth would probably be great options for tag team contenders against the Hart Dynasty: they'd make the Dynasty look solid and Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith would gain some more momentum, if only they had the mic skills and personality to back it up. Interesting that the fourth match was first hour main event, good win for Sheamus against Evan Bourne though, it went alright. Would have been better going as the opening contest though, being that Sheamus was in the ring first and that is a good spot for opening contest. Bourne just doesn't scream first-hour worthy to me. Laycool beating the Bella Twins was alright, two womens matches is weird though. Guess this proved dominance by the SmackDown divas. Should have switched The Miz vs William Regal with the Laycool/Bellas match, or put Miz and Regal's match on in the first hour main event, an obvious win for Miz, and a nice showing by Alex Riley but I liked Daniel Bryan making the save. A good storyline is going on here. John Cena and Randy Orton co-winning a fatal four-way main event is spicy, good show overall.

WWE NXT: Tuesday 24th August 2010...Husky Harris winning the arm wrestling challenge I am happy about, but could see Husky being the next rookie to be eliminated from the competition if I am honest. Husky with immunity was interesting but cannot see Harris winning NXT Season 2 whatsoever. Alex Riley and The Miz beating Kaval and Zack Ryder is fine, a good win for Riley and liked him pinning Ryder too. You should have put in another match or probably two, honestly. Or shown signs of a RAW Rebound segment. Michael McGillicutty beating Husky Harris is the best decision, and the next elimination being McGillicutty is a shame. He definitely should have made the finals, did like the anger on display by McGillicutty though. Overall, a fine episode but Harris isn't finalist material in my eyes.
WWE Superstars: Thursday 26th August 2010...You marked the date in this one as August 17. Curt Hawkins beating JTG is fine, I like how Hawkins rose to the occasion some on Superstars during this time, hope to see him get somewhere on actual SmackDown in the near future. Chris Masters beating Caylen Croft was pretty expected. Masters is a guy I still see some value in and he could still be a potential future WWE Intercontinental Champion. Hope to see the Dudebusters eventually have momentum against Masters though, if they are feuding. Goldust beating Primo is fine, another thing I hope that Primo is able to get a nice push. The Hart Dynasty competed on RAW, double duty for them. Also could have been a better match had Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov fought heels. A decent episode, could have been booked better though.
