Hey guys, I've been looking into some noise canceling headphones to use. I mainly want to use them for studying and on trips so what do you guys recommend?
I really like Sennheiser headphones but I want to look into others as well before I purchase a pair of headphones. I've been looking into the Bose QuietComforts but many people have been telling me not to get them mainly because of crazy price and a mediocre sound quality. Can anyone vouch for this?
I'm looking for a pair that cancels most of the outside noise and prevents leaking. I've heard the Beats leak quiet a lot too. Is this true?

I have listened to both the bose ae2s and qc15s at best buy. And the sound quality is about the same. Can be a little brash. But the noise canceling is FANTASTIC. I'm highly considering buying them just for the amazing noise cancelation. The sound quality isnt bad, but theres no doubt you're mainly paying for the noise cancelation seeing as there are better sounding headphones at the $300 price point.

I have a pair of Beats and the noise canceling isn't great by itself, but works pretty well with music at a decent volume.
But they do leak a good bit. I never listen to my music loud in public so it's not a problem for me, but some people love turn it all the way up without thinking if others can hear them.
