Everytime there is a change on facebook, there's always a rant thread on here about said change.
Usually i don't really mind but this one is actually annoying, ok so for the past 2 weeks, my laptop has been broke so i've been counting on my phone for my facebook access
So either today or yesterday facebook updated their inbox by changing it to "messages" it basically shows you everything you say to a person, so if you talk to them on facebook chat, that chat history will be there etc.
But the thing is GOD AWFUL to use on mobiles. I tried using it before, i had to send the same message like 3 or 4 times for my friends to get it, its so annoying and just doesn't work on mobiles
What do you guys think of the new facebook messages

Lots of great posts in this thread. If i know what you mean, ive got this update. Ive got like 5 ongoing conversations and no ones replied yet. I cant tell if facebook glitched out or if everyones avoiding me, lol.

I had the same thing last night, i was inboxing a few people, i sent 2 inboxes to some people and like 10 minutes later they wrote on my wall saying wheres the inbox? The whole thing works fine on laptop or if you get your inbox notifications sent to your phone so you can just reply, but it just wont work on the mobile version of facebook |

I have, I just noticed it today. I really dont like it cause when Im talking to someone, Ill get an inbox notification of what they just said to me on chat. It gets pretty annoying to me.

Yeah, same here. Seems to have messed up the chat client I have that runs separate from facebook. I know I've tried talking to someone and she's asked why I'm sending her email of our chat. Needless to say it's a conversation killer. |
