Did you ever think of maybe that's why she broke up with you? i mean instead of flowers or a jewelry you gave her a Lita action figure? Smooth.

If you want the figure back bad enough just ask , but she'll probably say no .

As far as I am concerned a gift is a gift. Whether or not you are together anymore is irrelevant. Any attempt to recoup gifts will come across poorly, regardless of how expensive....Of course, if an ex tried to get a big ticket item such as a computer back, you could always pull the incredibly low "As soon as you repair and return my broken heart" card.

Thats a picture of an old Lita figure I had. I demand that you take it down, this is embarrassing for me just to be associated with this thread.

TBH i wouldn't give anything to anyone unless i wanted them to have it forever. and i mean even if they turned into a complete jerk, i highly doubt i'd have given them anything i'd want back. if i'd wanted it so bad, i'd have kept it in the first place.

People here obviously dont know much about the value of a relationship. If a guy gave a girl something as rediculous as a... dog bobblehead, it may seem rediculous to us, but we all dont know the meaning it served to the two. Maybe there was some deep conversation about the girls love of dogs and love of bobbleheads. Bam, what more meaningful gift can you get her (especially at the beginning of a relationship like this one).
Something like a figure can have more meaning to them then we'll ever know. Ask for it back? No. After the relationship is over, it instantly became nothing more than a figure and a memory. Asking for it back is immature. Maybe an obsession like that led to the breakup? I have no Idea. But dont ask for it back.

I have no Idea. But dont ask for it back. This is spot on. My ex- girlfriend hated the boogeyman. She was always SUPER grossed out by him and couldn't stand to watch any of his matches. She had no idea I had a figure of him, so one night she fell asleep before me so I stood it up on her night stand beside the lamp. The next morning I woke up to a "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS KYLE?!". She got a kick out of it and it stayed on her night stand until the day we broke up (well over a year later). But no, I didn't ask for it back. It's better to drop a few bucks on ebay for another than to make an ass of yourself by asking for it back.
