Good Impact.
- Liked the opening segment. Styles' introductions were realistic.
- Don't like Eric Young in that match. You should have used the other Buck imo.
- Nice stipulation for the Ray/Devon match.
- The Anderson segment is gold. This will be a fun storyline.
- Don't like Abyss going over clean. Morgan didn't look strong at all. But that No DQ match looks good.
- The Sting/Hardy promo works, but I would have done something more to show that Bischoff and Hogan really have changed Hardy.
- Good main event.
Really, my only complaint is that you're leaving RVD, Pope and Joe off. They're key players and need an excuse for their absense imo. RVD especially. But good job again..

TNA iMPACT: Phenomenal vs. Immortal
March 31st, 2011
Orlando, Florida
The music of Hulk Hogan plays as he comes down to the ring by himself and climbs into the ring. He speaks on “Lethal Lockdown” and talks down to Team Styles including calling Styles “bitter” regarding the changes in TNA since Hogan stepped in the door. This brought out AJ Styles who said that the only “bitter” person in the ring, is Hogan. Styles says Hogan is trying to relive the glory years that he wants back so much, yet what he fails to realize is that at “Lockdown” he's stepping into the ring with the best talents in the world. Hogan brushes off Styles shots and points out that ever since Hogan stepped in the door, he's been the poster boy for TNA because he's the biggest name in the history of wrestling. Styles states that Hogan was only the “poster boy” because he put himself in that position, he didn't earn a single thing that he has gotten in TNA. He says that every thing that AJ Styles has gotten in TNA, he has earned by putting his blood, sweet, and tears into this company. Hogan stated that at the end of “Lethal Lockdown”, all that would be remembered about AJ Styles is Hogan Leg Dropping him right out of the wrestling business. Styles got in Hogan's face and said the only thing that would be remembered for Hulk Hogan's time in TNA Wrestling... is AJ Styles pinning him in the middle of the ring. The two had a stare-down and seemed to about to come to blows but Hogan just left the ring with a smirk on his face. Tenay hypes that AJ Styles has gotten the best of Hulk Hogan tonight, but can he and Team Styles get the best of Immortal at “Lockdown”?
A few graphics pop up on the screen with Mike Tenay and Taz hyping the matches that we're going to see tonight including Crimson vs. Abyss in a No DQ Match. Plus, they just got word that the main event for the evening will see AJ Styles teaming up with Kurt Angle to face The Hardy Boyz. Taz and Tenay speculate that Jeff Jarrett could be running scared from Kurt Angle!
Robbie E and Brian Kendrick defeated TNA X-Division Champion, Kazarian and Chris Sabin
This was a great opening contest with some back and forth action. Kazarian and Sabin worked together well using some nice combo moves, but nothing compared to the work of The Motor City Machine Guns. Kendrick and Robbie E were never on the same page, not even once with lots of miss communication between the two. The ending saw Sabin hit the “Cradle Shock” on Kendrick for the victory. Robbie E attacked Sabin post match but Kazarian had Sabin's back hitting Robbie E with the “Fade to Black” post-match. Kazarian got back up only to get super-kicked by Chris Sabin to almost the delight of the crowd. Can Chris Sabin become the X-Division Champion, again? It seems like a great possibility.
In the parking lot, we see a police car leading in a limousine along with a police car behind the limousine. The police officers get out [two in each car] and walk to the back door of the limousine as it opens and The Jarrett's step out. Jeff and Karen Jarrett get a police escort into the iMPACT Zone, but the question is why?

When we return from commercial break, we hear the music of Jeff Jarrett as he along with Karen are escorted out by the same police offers but now they have TNA event security behind them also. The Jarretts get into the ring while the police and security stand guard around all sides of the ring as Jarrett begins speaking. He says that he knows all the TNA fans are disappointed that he won't be wrestling in the main event tonight against Kurt Angle and AJ Styles but he just couldn't let his fans down. The crowd is very loudly booing Jarrett to the effect that he has to keep speaking up louder while talking. He pulls out a piece of paper and informs everyone that earlier this morning Kurt Angle was served with a restraining order by the Orlando Police Department that states Kurt Angle unless in a sanctioned match but an an athletic commission can NOT come within five hundred feet of Jeff or Karen Jarrett. If Angle does so, he will be arrested on the spot and left to rot in jail until someone bails him out. Kurt Angle appears on the big screen and says that Jarrett was smart for getting a restraining order, but it won't stop him from ripping Jarrett apart during “Lethal Lockdown” in a few weeks. Angle tells Jarrett, “nothing can save you” and the screen fades to black. Jarrett looks at the restraining order in hand knowing that what Angle said is true.
Backstage, Immortal are in their locker room talking about Sting. Hardy is sitting off in the corner while everyone else mocks Sting for thinking he's going to “help” Jeff Hardy see the light. Bischoff and Hogan ask Jeff Hardy why he's sitting alone in the corner but Hardy doesn't respond. He just stares off into space almost in deep thought.
Rosita and Sarita defeated Angelina Love and Velvet Sky
This was a solid match with good back and forth action between the two teams. Love and Sarita mainly were the two in the match but Rosita did get involved during the contest hitting a moonsault on Love, but Love kicked out. During the match, Winter came down which in turn distracted Velvet Sky, the legal woman, which allowed Sarita to roll her up for the victory. Sarita and Rosita celebrate their win as a tag team while Love tries to calm Sky down after Winter costs her another match.
The cameras turn to Christy Hemme who is standing by with The British Invasion [Douglas Williams and Magnus]. Hemme says that the world is a buzz about the return of The British Invasion, but they also want to know why they're back. “The Mag-Daddy” explained that he and Douglas both grave one thing, competition and they're friends outside of the ring so it was only smart to reform the team. Hemme then asks the million dollar question; Where is Desmond Wolfe? Douglas took this question stating that Wolfe is right where he needs to be. They walk off while Hemme looks confused. The British Invasion are in action, later tonight.
A video package airs of a Madison Rayne interview. “My problem with Mickie James is that she is just like everyone else, she comes in and thinks this is her division. Wrong, this is my division! I worked my a** off to get here and I refuse to let some walk-in take it from me. The reason I, as you put it, turned on Tara last week is because she is bringing me down. I need to be the Queen Bee of TNA and I can't do that with some lackey hanging around me. What are my plans for Mickie James at Lockdown? My plans are to end her career. Point blank, end of story”. Madison takes the microphone off her shirt and walks off camera.

The British Invasion [Douglas Williams & Magnus] defeated Eric Young & Orlando Jordan
This was an alright match but nothing spectacular with The British Invasion obviously dominating the match. Williams picked up the victory for his team with the “Chaos Theory” on Jordan for the pin fall. British Invasion celebrated on the stage as Jordan pulled himself up slowly. Young is obviously frustrated at the loss... again.
Backstage, Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan are hyping Abyss up telling him to end Crimson before “Lockdown”. Abyss leaves the locker room and is attacked backstage by Crimson out of nowhere! Crimson and Abyss brawl among the backstage area with officials telling them to take it to the ring to which they finally seemed to be going that way as Abyss slammed Crimson back first into a wall. The two finally make down to the ring to start the match.
“The Monster” Abyss defeated Crimson in a No-DQ Match
These two let into each other with Abyss being angry at Crimson for trying to end his career a few months back. Abyss and Crimson really started getting violent as soon as Abyss brought a barbed wire bat into play to start ripping into Crimson's flesh. They both were busted open by the end of the match, but it was Abyss for got the victory for himself. Abyss pulled Crimson up the ramp to the top of the stage to attempt to toss him off when out of nowhere... Amazing Red cracked Abyss in the back with a steel chair. The crowd goes nuts until they realize that Abyss isn't feeling the effects from the shot. Abyss grabs Red by his throat and choke slams Red off the stage through a table. Crimson is laid out and has no idea what just happened as Abyss walks backstage.

Christy Hemme is shown standing by Brother Devon in the interview set and says that Devon asked for some time to speak. Devon states that Bully Ray has laid out a challenge for Lockdown... and he accepts! Devon stated that he will never forgive Ray for what he did to his sons, but would go to his grave to get revenge on him.
AJ Styles & Kurt Angle defeated The Hardy Boys
This was an incredible main event with these four men working their tails off to put on a good match. Angle and Styles really showed a lot of team work throughout the contest, showing that they're on the same page heading into Lethal Lockdown. The ending saw Matt Hardy get pushed out of a “Twist of Hate” on Styles right into an “Angle Slam” by Kurt Angle for the pin fall.
After the match, Styles and Angle celebrated their victory as Jeff Hardy backed up the ramp. The last shot we see is Sting lurking in the rafters looking down at Hardy, Angle, and Styles!

TNA iMPACT: The Network Strikes... Again
April 8th, 2011
Orlando, Florida
TNA iMPACT opens up with the usual video package before going inside the iMPACT Zone to see the pyrotechnics going off. Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show before sending us to the ring for our opening contest!
Sarita & Rosita defeated TNA Knockout Tag Team Champions, Angelina Love & Winter in a non-title match
This was a solid match with good action among the four knockouts in the match. There was nothing amazing about it, but the fans enjoyed it. Sarita and Rosita would pick up the victory following a moonsault on Angelina Love. Following the match, Eric Bischoff came out to drop a bombshell on the Knockouts stating that due to the fact that Angelina and Winter haven't defend the titles in over a month... that they were stripped of the titles! Bischoff then retired the championship belts stating that all four of them should be competing as singles stars going over the most prestigious women's championship in the world, the knockout title. They were all shocked by this as we go to commercial break.
James Storm and Jesse Neal are shown on split-screen; Neal vs. Storm it's up next!

James Storm defeated Jesse Neal
This was put off a week due to the concussion that Storm suffered when Neal speared him a few weeks back and Storm cracked his head on the arena floor. These two really worked well together with their brawling styles working to their advantage. James Storm was able to pick up the victory hitting “The Last Call” super-kick for the pin fall. Storm celebrated his victory until Shannon Moore hit the ring from the crowd and attacked Storm! Neal cracked Storm in the head with the TNA World Tag Team Title belt as Robert Roode ran down to the ring from backstage. Ink Inc bailed as Roode slid into the ring to help his partner. Ink Inc smiled was they mocked Roode from the ramp as he checked on storm.
“The Pope” D'Angelo Dinero is shown from a video from “earlier this week” picketing in downtown Orlando, Florida. Pope has a few of Pope's Congregation members out in the streets of Orlando, Florida with signs saying “Conspiracy Victim”. Pope starts “preaching” about the lack of television time for The Pope is ridiculous! He states that it's time for a change among the ranks of the heavyweight division in TNA and that it's time for change when it comes to the lineage of the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He states that it is time for an African-American to rise up and capture the TNA World Heavyweight Championship for the very first time. He says that he will take his fight all around this country until people start to realize that Pope is the man of the people regardless what Samoa Joe tried to prove.
Backstage, Hogan and Bischoff are talking about “Lethal Lockdown” which leads to Hogan making a comment that he was going to make sure AJ Styles realized “who” Hogan was at “Lockdown”. Mr. Anderson comes into the office and demands to know why they sent some backstage worker to tell him to come to their office. Hogan tells Anderson to simmer down which causes Anderson to snap stating that he would simmer down if he didn't have to earn a title shot that he already earned! Bischoff says that the “network” has made the main event tonight Mr. Anderson vs. a mystery opponent. Anderson says he's not going to do anything that “the network” wants him to do because they don't exist and it's a figment of Bischoff's imagination to keep Anderson from kicking his a**. Bischoff says that if Anderson refuses to wrestle the match, he will be removed from the “Lethal Lockdown” match and suspended. Anderson tells Bischoff to “do what he has to do” as he isn't taking orders from anyone any longer.
Chris Sabin defeated TNA X-Division Champion, Kazarian in a non-title match
This was a match that was made at Kazarian's request who wanted some payback on Sabin for the super-kick last week. Kazarian wasn't able to get the victory but did have a great match with Sabin with lots of great action between these two great X-Division pioneers. Sabin would pick-up the victory with the Cradle Shock. After the match, Robbie E snuck in a cheap shot on Sabin with a cutter leaving him laid out on the mat.

When we return from commercial break Kurt Angle is making his entrance to the ring and he calls out Jeff Jarrett. He says that Jarrett can bring his police force with him, but he wants to talk to Jeff Jarrett... without Karen being around. Jeff comes out onto the stage along with what appears to be personal security guards. Angle states that he just wants the drama between the two of them over for the sake of the kids that they both have, he states that they have been through enough. He states that they need to get their final shots in at “Lethal Lockdown” before someone seriously winds up hurt. Jarrett states that while he agrees with Angle that they need to get over it for the sake of the kids, someone is going to seriously get hurt... and that person is Kurt Angle. Angle is confused until he gets attacked by Hernandez, Matt Hardy, and Abyss attack Angle from behind. Jeff Jarrett is very entertained by this as Karen comes up onto the stage with him with a smile on her face. The security guards spread out around the ring as Jarrett heads to the ring and starts beating down on Angle. Jarrett locks an Ankle Lock on Angle as AJ Styles, Matt Morgan, and Crimson fight through the security to get to Immortal but they bail before anyone else gets hurt. Styles and his team are obviously angry at the attack on Angle just ten days before “Lockdown”.
Backstage, Mickie James is walking throughout the backstage area talking on her cell phone when out of nowhere... she's attacked by someone wearing a hooded sweatshirt so we couldn't see their face. The attack is quick but effective as James has her head slammed into a wall and the attacker walks of. The camera man goes over and checks on Mickie, calling for a doctor in the process.
Generation Me defeated The Britsh Invasion
This was a phenomenal tag team contest with Generation Me and The British Invasion clicking greatly. The fans were behind The Britsh Invasion once again tonight with lots of pro-British Invasion chants. Generation Me was able to steal a victory with a roll up on Magnus with a handful of tights. Generation Me celebrated their victory on the ramp as The British Invasion looked angry.
Mickie James is shown being checked on by trainers but pushes them away saying that she is fine when she is slurring her speech. James gets up and walks out as the camera man follows her directly to Madison Rayne's locker room where James goes to attack Rayne but trainers and agents keep Mickie James from doing so for her own health. Rayne swears that she hasn't been anywhere near the “psycho” [Mickie] for weeks now. James calls her a liar and says she'll get hers come “Lockdown”.

The British Invasion are shown backstage where they cut a promo on Generation Me. They state that they have been playing by the rules but Gen Me wants to be cowards and take short cuts? That isn't going to fly with them and challenges Generation Me to a rematch at Lockdown.
We awaited the arrival of Mr. Anderson for a few moments including playing his music twice, but Anderson wouldn't come out. Bischoff came onto the stage and stated that he has figured out that not only is Anderson an a**hole, he's apparently a crybaby when he doesn't get his way. Bischoff states that he has someone else that will fight the mystery... then Anderson's music hits again. Anderson comes onto the stage and shoves Bischoff out of the way heading to the ring.
Mr. Anderson defeated Rob Van Dam
When the music of Van Dam hit, the crowd explained with loud cheers as many fans have wondered where Van Dam has been the past few weeks. Anderson and Van Dam got into one another face with Tenay putting over how there is no love lost between the two of them. The ending saw Van Dam and Anderson brawling on the floor which allowed for Anderson to hit the “Mic Check” on Van Dam... head first into the ring-post! Anderson tossed Van Dam into the ring and got the pin fall to win the match.
After the match, Anderson called for his microphone and announced himself the winner. He then turns his attention to the network calling them a bunch of “cowards” who hide behind a telephone in some office thinking they're calling the shots. He states that he doesn't know how the “network” actually works, but he will find out who is the puppet master is. The show comes to an end with Anderson standing over Van Dam as we fade to black.

I enjoyed the last show.
- Good returns for Pope and RVD.
- British Invasion need momentum, but I'm not against Gen Me going over. I like that you have two tag team matches on PPV.
- I'm enjoying the Anderson storyline, and it will be fun seeing who the Network is.
- I didn't like Sabin superkicking Kazarian on the last show, I also didn't like Robbie E getting involved either. I think the X Division needs to get rebuilt as the highflying division, and Robbie E is gonna hold that down. I'd suggest moving him to the TV Title Division.

TNA iMPACT: True Colors
April 8th, 2011
Orlando, Florida
The usual “TNA iMPACT” opening package plays before we move inside the iMPACT Zone where Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show as the pyrotechnics go off within the building. We see a few graphics hyping up our matches tonight including the main event of Mr. Anderson & AJ Styles vs. Matt Hardy & Abyss. Plus, Sting and Jeff Hardy sign the contract for the main event of Lockdown. Also, AJ Styles will go face-to-face with Hulk Hogan later tonight. They then send it down to the ring for our opening contest.
Robbie E [w/ Cookie] defeated Chris Sabin
This was a solid opening match with a good amount of back and forth action. Robbie E really has shown improvements when it comes to hanging with talent the caliber of Sabin which really showed here. Robbie E was able to pull off the win with a cutter for the victory.
The cameras turn backstage where AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Matt Morgan, and Crimson are talking about the main event tonight. Angle expresses concern on how much they can trust Anderson as he's only on the team because he wants something for himself. Styles says not to worry about it, he'll talk with Anderson about it.

Generation Me defeated Orlando Jordan & Eric Young
This was a short and simple match with decent action, but nothing amazing. The ending saw Generation Me hit “More Bang for Your Buck” on Jordan for the victory. Following the match, Generation Me cut a promo on The British Invasion declining their challenge for “Lockdown” stating that Generation Me has nothing to prove against The British Invasion as they have already beaten them.
Backstage, we get a reaction from The British Invasion regarding the denial for a match by Generation Me. Magnus and Williams point out that Generation Me cheated, but they wouldn't be sore losers... they would just have to convince them to face them in a rematch at some point. Magnus' cell-phone rang during the promo and he took a call to end the show.
AJ Styles is shown on a search for Mr. Anderson when he bumps into TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Sting. The two have a moment of silence before Sting brushes past Styles to be on his way, Styles turns back toward Sting and shakes his head.
Mickie James defeated Winter
Another good match here on iMPACT with solid action between these two Knockouts. Winter is looking to get into the Knockout Title hunt following the retirement of the TNA Knockout Tag Titles last week, but tonight wasn't her tonight as James would pick up the victory over Winter with the “Mick Kick”. Madison Rayne was on commentary throughout the match.

AJ Styles has finally found Mr. Anderson outside the iMPACT Zone having a cup of cofee while on the phone. Styles asks if he has a minute, to which Anderson snaps at Styles that he was on the phone and he would be with him when he “had a minute”. Styles reaches for the phone but before he snatches it from Anderson, a staff member says that Hogan wants AJ and his team to head to the ring. Styles turns towards Anderson who is still yapping on the phone about “the network”, Styles walks off unsuccessfully able to talk to Anderson.
A video airs hyping up the DVD release of “TNA Victory Road” available on DVD, next Tuesday.
AJ Styles comes down to the ring to have a “face-to-face” with Hulk Hogan but of course, Immortal is with Hogan. Hogan spoke up first stating that he gave AJ Styles a “big break” by allowing him to be apart of Immortal, yet Styles pissed it all away for Dixie Carter. Hogan put over how he made the wrestling business and that Styles should respect that. Styles laughed and stated that Hogan might have made the “sports-entertainment” business but he couldn't touch the talent that TNA has, even in his prime. Hogan seemed to get bothered and cut Styles off mid-sentence. “Let me make this perfectly clear, AJ... there are many other guys just like you but there is only one Hulk Hogan”. Styles smirked and stated that if that was the case, then why does AJ Styles have a five-year contract with TNA Wrestling. Hogan says that is why Dixie Carter isn't responsible enough to run a wrestling company, Styles reminds Hogan that it was Bischoff and Hogan who put a million dollar company out of business because of their idiotic ways. Hogan then “dismisses” AJ and his team, but Styles says that he has one more thing to say with his back to Hogan. He drops the microphone and hits a pele-kick on Hogan! Hogan hits the ground like a pile of bricks as Styles rolls out of the ring and picks up the microphone: “There is nobody and I mean nobody... like AJ Styles!”
Another video of “The Pope” D'Angelo Dinero's protest is shown but this time he is near the state capital in Atlanta, Georgia. The protest has evolved with even more fans out picketing with sign including a new one stating “Pope For Champion”. Pope starts “preaching” to the camera stating he will keep sending these videos into the TNA production team until he is brought to iMPACT to wrestle. “The people need a champion that they can trust. Can we really trust Sting? He's the Brett Favre of pro-wrestling, for Pope's sake”. He turns his attention back to the protest and holds up a sign that says “Don't Hold A Brother Down”.

Bully Ray defeated Scott Steiner
This was an okay match, but nothing fantastic. The real story here is that Bully Ray was able to defeat Scott Steiner following a “Bubba Bomb” for the pin fall victory. Following the match, Ray started hitting Steiner with his chain until Devon hit the ring to make the save. No contact was made between Ray and Devon to the disappointment of some of the fans.
Backstage, Mickie James is being interviewed about her match with Winter earlier tonight along with stating that she knows that it's Madison who attacked her last week. She is about to walk off when she is attacked again by the hooded person but this time, the attacker is wearing a mask so their face has no chance of being seen.
AJ Styles relocates Mr. Anderson who is still outside drinking his coffee but is at the least off his cell phone. Styles says that he wants to make sure they are on the same page for tonight and at “Lockdown”. Anderson laughs stating that Styles is seeming a little paranoid, then telling Styles “not to worry, I'll show my true colors tonight”.
Sting and Jeff Hardy are shown on split-screen; Sting and Jeff Hardy will sign the contract... next

“The Icon” Sting and Jeff Hardy both make their way down to the ring to sign the contract for “Lockdown”. The details are explained that it would be Jeff Hardy's last title shot if he would lose at “Lockdown”. The two sign the contract and Bischoff asks for any last words, only Sting takes him up on the offer. Sting speaks to Jeff Hardy about the guy he should still be and states that he wants to show Jeff Hardy, the Jeff Hardy everyone loved. There is a video package shown of Jeff Hardy signing autographs in the parking-lot before a show, interacting with fans, and fulfilling Make-A-Wish wishes. Hardy doesn't seemed moved by the video to which Sting says he gives up. “If that doesn't make the old Jeff Hardy want to show up, I don't know what will. I'll see you at Lockdown, Jeff” and Sting walks out the ring. Hardy stands in the ring with a long-stare on his face at Sting as he walks up the ramp.
AJ Styles is shown in his locker room grabbing his hoodie to head toward the ring and Angle is still skeptical on trusting Anderson. Styles tells Angle not to worry, Anderson said he would show his true colors tonight. Angle spoke up as Styles walked out; “...that's what I am afraid of...”
A video airs with a “final hype” for “Lockdown” feel to it going over all the matches before our main event.
“The Monster” Abyss and Matt Hardy defeated Mr. Anderson & “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles
This was a very good main event with Styles working most of the match solo as Anderson refused to tag into the match until Styles forced a tag which ticked Anderson off. Anderson had a few minutes in the ring with Hardy before walking back over and slapping the taste out of AJ Styles' mouth to tag out. Styles seemed to want to tear Anderson into pieces from that point on, but wouldn't get the chance as Anderson would seemingly turn on his partner and hit the “Mic Check” allowing Hardy to get the pin fall. The show came to an end with Anderson bent over Styles reminding him that he's only in it for himself. Mike Tenay remarks that “this puts Lethal Lockdown in the favor of Immortal. We could be in for a very bumpy ride come Lockdown, this Sunday night.”

- The ticket sales for "Lockdown" which takes place this Sunday night are said to be "very strong", with reports that fans from all over the world are coming in for the show. The estimations right now seem to be between the 5,500 and 7,500 mark which could be the highest attended TNA pay-per-view if it reaches 7,500.
- Many within the company are under the impression that "the network" will soon be revealed as an actual person/or persons.
- Alex Shelley is set to return from injury in about 3-6 weeks but that's for an in-ring return. There are plans to bring Alex Shelley into television next week to start a slow-build for The Motor City Machine Gun's return to pay-per-view. Chris Sabin stated in a recent interview that he was "very excited" for the plans for himself and Alex Shelley once Shelley is clear.
- Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, and AJ Styles are all on their way to Ohio as we speak for media appearances to promote "Lockdown".

"It All Ends In The Cage"Live on Pay-Per-View on April 17th, 2011 from Cincinnati, Ohio! A tremendous video package airs hyping up “Lockdown” as the most violent pay-per-view of the year for pro-wrestling. There are comments made in the video from most of the TNA talent stating that the cage match isn't for the faint of heart and your career could end in a second. The footage ends with a comment by “The Icon” Sting stating that there are official winners in the history books, but you don't really win at “Lockdown” due to the pain you endure. The cameras turn inside a jammed-packed U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio as Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the most violent pay-per-view of the year. We go over to the broadcast table where they introduce themselves and plug tonight's matches. Taz states that from personal experiences, you never fully recover from the dangers that come with a steel cage match. Tenay plugs the fact this isn't for the faint of heart and that viewer discretion is advised. He asks Taz if he is ready for some X-Division action and Taz is ready as Robbie E's music hits. Kazarian [champion] vs. Robbie E vs. Brian Kendrick vs. Chris Sabin for the TNA X-Division Championship in an Xsacpe Match The X-Division took the stage to open the live broadcast as Kazarian walked into the cage with his back against a wall. The rules were explained before the match to which were simple, to win the match you must escape the cage with both feet hitting the floor. Robbie E kicked off the match but climbing th e cage as soon as the bell rung, but Kazarian was having none of that and pulled him back into the ring. Robbie E realized that none of the guys in the match liked him once Sabin and Kazarian began to double team him, Kendrick tried to be a voice of reason but ended up pissing Sabin off. The match pretty much broke down into two single matches with Kazarian going after Robbie E, and Sabin after Kendrick. There wasn't your typical X-Division moments besides the rare move off the wall of the cage when someone tried to escape, until the closing moments of the match. Kazarian saw his chance and began climbing to the top of the cage, making it before anyone saw him escaping until Robbie E saw him and went after him. Robbie E tried to suplex Kazarian back into the ring and Kendrick came to help which was a major mistake because Lethal got under them. Lethal hits a huge Tower of Doom, but Kazarian held on to the top of the cage! Kazarian finished climbing down the side to retain the X-Division Championship. Winner: And still TNA X-Division Champion... Kazarian The camera turn backstage where Christy Hemme is standing by with Brother Devon. Devon gives his thoughts on his “Loser Leaves TNA” match with Bully Ray that is coming up next: “We go way back and I have taken a lot of flack for you over the past fifteen years, how do you repay me? You repay me by putting your hands on my kids? You crossed the line and now you will pay for it. You will pay for it with your blood, sweat, tears, and your job here in TNA. Testify.” A video package airs looking back at what has made this feud between Bully Ray and Brother Devon so personal. It includes comments from both men along with Taz, Tommy Dreamer, and Rob Van Dam about the friendship that Devon and Ray had. Bully Ray vs. Brother Devon in a Loser Leaves TNA Match The very personal grudge match kicked off with Ray attacking Devon during his entrance. This allowed them to brawl around the ringside area before the match would officially start. Devon would fight back and take a chair to the back of Brother Ray before tossing him into the ring. The fans started chanting “We Want Tables!” to which Devon agreed with, sliding a table from under the ring into the cage. Ray and Devon finally started fighting in the ring, allowing the match to officially begin and it was a pure slug-fest from that moment on. They weren't applying wrestling holds on one another, but just beating the living crap out of one another. Devon would be split open during the match when Ray would grind his face into the steel cage. While Devon was screaming in pain on the mat, Ray set up the table in the corner and seemed to have a plan in mind, but the plan wouldn't happen as when he turned around, Devon was there. Devon took the fight to Ray and hit a side-slam for a two count. The final moments saw Devon set the table up in the middle of the ring and looked to want to hit a flapjack on Ray, but Ray slipped out from it. This allowed him to set up and power-bomb Devon through the table for the victory. Devon's career in TNA Wrestling has come to an end... Ray mocks him post-match and says this further proves how weak Devon is. Winner: Bully Ray [Brother Devon must leave TNA WrestlingThe cameras turn to Christy Hemme again who is standing by with TNA Knockouts Champion, Madison Rayne. “Tonight, I will do something that I have wanted to do since the moment that Mickie James stepped her Hardcore Country self into TNA, which is boot her right back out. Mickie wants to come after me and state I'm attacking her? Trust me, if I were attacking you Mickie... you wouldn't be here tonight to have a title match but I promise you, you will never have another after I end your career.” The cameras shoot over to Jeremy Borash who is standing by with challenger for the TNA Knockout Championship, Mickie James. “Madison can claim all she wants that she isn't the attacker, but I know she is. You're a coward, Madison and it's just like you to hide your face to attack someone. I promise you that tonight, I end your title reign and your attack spree on me. A video package airs looking back at the moments that has lead us to Mickie James vs. Madison Rayne for the TNA Knockout Championship including comments from some of the Knockouts to why this rivalry has taken off the way it has. Madison Rayne [champion] vs. Mickie James for the TNA Knockout ChampionshipMickie James looked to accomplish the goal that she set for herself since day one in the company, to be the Knockouts Champion. The two lock up in the ring and James over powers Madison, pushing her across the ring, the two locked up again and the process repeated. Rayne seemed to get frustrated but didn't let it get in her head. The match slowly but surely picked up steam and the two took the fight to one another throughout the match. Rayne showed the world that she wasn't just going to break at the first sign of a legit threat to her championship, giving James all she had. Unforently for Madison, her best wasn't good enough as James was able to secure the win following the “Mick Kick” to the head. James celebrated her championship victory with tears in her eyes as the fans cheer her on. Winer: And NEW TNA Knockouts Champion.... Mickie James Mickie James is shown going to the front row and hugging some of her family members before slapping some fans hands on the way up the ramp when out of nowhere, a fan wearing a hood grabs Mickie's hair and slams her head first into the guardrail. The fan jumps the guardrail and puts the boots to Mickie James before security can even think about jumping the rail to grab the fan. The fan then pulls back the hood to reveal that it's actually Daffney! The fans boo even louder as Daffney walks up the ramp leaving the new Knockouts Champion in a heap. The cameras turn backstage where Christy Hemme is standing by with Beer Money Inc., but she comments on the Mickie James situation first stating to stay tuned to TNAWrestling.com for an update on Mickie's condition following the attack. James Storm and Robert Roode have their turn to speak with Roode doing most of the talking. “You see I thought Ink Inc., would be the future of the tag team division but they're not going to have a future in the business after tonight's match. You thought you could disrespect us and get away with it? You're wrong. We have proven time and time again that we are the very best in the world, and you're going to get that lesson first hand”. Storm pulls the microphone over to pop in his one linner of “Sorry, 'bout your damn luck!” A video package airs looking back at how Ink Inc became challengers for the TNA World Tag Team Titles, currently held by Beer Money Inc,.! Beer Money Inc [champions] vs. Ink Inc for the TNA World Tag Team Championship Shannon Moore and Jesse Neal got into the faces of Beer Money Inc when they climbed into the cage, Storm would up getting hit in the face with the book of DILLIGAF which sent Beer Money on a rampage. These two teams would try to tear each other apart throughout the entire match, luckily the official was able to keep the two teams playing by the tag team rules and forced them to make tags. Moore and Neal quickly began to break the rule, double teaming Beer Money Inc members left and right, to which Beer Money Inc got revenge by doing the same to Ink Inc. This would end seeing both teams just break down and forget the rules, Earl Hebner through his hands up and just let it happen knowing he couldn't control the teams. Shannon Moore through it would be a good idea to climb to the top of the cage and go for a moonsault, the problem for him is that when he was standing on the top of the cage... Jesse Neal got slung right into the panel causing Moore to lose his balance and get crotched on the top of the cage. Storm climbed to the top of the cage to pull Moore down, but More fought it off and hit a sunset flip power-bomb off the top of the cage! It took both Moore and Storm awhile to recover but during the time Roode and Neal battled it out, including Neal hitting the “Gore” on Roode for a two count. The final moments saw Storm hit the “Last Call” super kick on Moore, then around and get hit with a “Gore” by Neal, and then Roode hit the “Double R” spinebuster on Neal for the victory. Winners: And Still TNA World Tag Team Champions... Beer Money Inc! The cameras turn backstage where Jeremy Borash is standing with Team AJ Styles. AJ Styles and Kurt Angle acted almost like spokesmen for the team with them speaking on behalf of the entire team. Angle really seemed into the interview segment stating, “We all have our own personal agends going into this match and we're not going to deny that, but at the end of the day it's all about getting the power back for Dixie Carter to get TNA back on the right track”. Angle was able to see Anderson rolling his eyes at the comment which Angle questioned why he was rolling his eyes. “Why am I rolling my eyes, Kurt? Because I don't care who runs this company... the president of the United States could run TNA Wrestling and as long as I get a freaking title shot, I don't care!” Anderson storms off leaving his team members behind. The cameras then turn over to Christy Hemme who is standing by with Immortal. Hogan takes up most of the microphone time in this interview. “AJ Styles, you and your friends need to understand that you guys represent everything that we dislike about the old TNA that was run by Dixie Carter. The guys that I surround myself with are the right things about TNA. You will realize that you might have built this company on your back, AJ but I built the world around TNA.” A video package airs looking back at all the drama that has lead us here, to Lethal Lockdown. Immortal [Hulk Hogan, Matt Hardy, Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, Hernandez] vs. Team Styles [AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Matt Morgan, Crimson, Mr. Anderson] in a Lethal Lockdown Match for the control of TNA We start off with AJ Styles coming down to represent his team followed up by the arrival of “The Monster” Abyss for Immortal. This was a nice flash back to “Lockdown 2005” that featured these two in the main event of the show. Styles and Abyss locked up to start us off, but Abyss quickly shoved Styles down to which Styles changed his game plan quickly and started using kicks to the legs to try and chop down Abyss. Styles had some success wearing down the leg of Abyss, but nothing really game changing. The countdown clock was still ticking down the seconds until Styles would be in a two-on-one situation due to the loss on iMPACT to Abyss and Matt Morgan. Styles tried to stay in control of Abyss the entire time so it wouldn't be so bad, but Abyss fought back sending Styles back first into the cage. The clock finished counting down to the arrival of Matt Hardy! This allowed Hardy and Abyss to double-team Styles for a good bit while we awaited the arrival of Styles team mate to help him. The longest sixty seconds of Styles life was finally over when Crimson's music played and he hit the ring. Crimson had better luck choppying Abyss down than Styles due to the size advantage Crimson has compared to Styles. This gave Styles and Hardy a chance to do their thing but it wasn't long until Jeff Jarrett joined the mix, soon followed up by Kurt Angle. Angle and Jarrett just went after one another like two blood-spilling enimes would with both of them being split open. The match was getting bloody now and the roof hadn't even dropped. This allowed for Hernandez to come in and pick up the scraps of Team Styles until a fresh Matt Morgan hit the ring. The match really broke down into seperate matches then with Angle/Jarrett, Styles/Hardy, Abyss/Crimson, and Morgan/Hernandez until business picked up with the arrivial of Hulk Hogan. Hogan came in and lite up AJ Styles with a flurry of shots while Hardy held him. It seemed a reinforcement was coming with Mr. Anderson but he quickly strolled down to the ring including bending over and tying his boot which he forgot to tie. Anderson finally made it into the ring which allowed “Lethal Lockdown” to begin with the roof dropping. This allowed things to get bad, really quickly with lots of weapons being used but the real story was: AJ Styles and Hulk Hogan. You had the biggest name in wrestling history, Hulk Hogan going toe-to-toe with Mr. TNA, AJ Styles. These two let into one another and Styles almost had the match won for his team with a pele kick on Hogan, but Hogan kicked out at 2! The finish came when everyone hit their finishers on each other... besides two: Hogan and Styles. The two battled back and forth a bit until Hogan sent Styles off the ropes for a big-boot, but Styles ducked! Hogan turned around straight into a pele kick! Styles climbed to the top rope and hit a “Spiral Tap” connecting with it square in the middle of the ring. Styles grabbed at his back and climbed over to Hogan to make the cover. Earl Hebner hits the mat and the fans count along: “1..........2..........3!”. Mike Tenay exclaims: “My god, AJ Styles has defeated Hulk Hogan! The poster boy for TNA Wrestling for nine years has pinned the biggest name in pro-wrestling history. This is a night... that we will never forget”. Styles is celebrating with his teammates while Immortal cleans the ring, Hogan is shown crawling up the ramp in serve pain as Dixie Carter enters the ring [who was seated front row]. She hugs Styles with tears in her eyes as we see replays of what all went down in the match. Winners: Team AJ Styles [AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Mr. Anderson, Crimson, and Matt MorganBack live, AJ Styles is still celebrating in the ring as Dixie Carter raises his hand and parades him around the ring. You can see Angle, Crimson and Morgan all clapping for Styles while Anderson is nowhere to be seen. Sting and Jeff Hardy are shown on a split-screen heading toward the ring. It's noted by a very horse Mike Tenay and Taz that both men refused to be interviewed before the main event so they could remain focused on the task at hand. A video package aired showing us how we have gotten to Jeff Hardy challenging for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Sting. “The Icon” Sting [champion] vs. “The Charismatic Enigma” Jeff Hardy for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship The bell sounds as Hardy and Sting size one another up, both knowing that this is a crucial moment in the match. The two lock up and Sting quickly takes control pulling Hardy in for a side headlock but Hardy is quick to push Sting off and the process restarts. They lock up again but this time Hardy takes control and pulls Sting into a side headlock. The two play a game of cat and mouse for the first six or seven minutes before picking up steam. Hardy's mindset was clearly different than Sting's the entire match, Hardy was about punishing Sting enough to be able to escape the steel cage while Sting was thinking three steps ahead of Hardy. Sting would get split open at one point when Hardy slung him headfirst into the flesh tearing steel, this gave Hardy the chance to begin the long climb to the top but Sting was able to recover enough to stop the escape. The two exchanged blows in the middle of the ring then worked their way to exchanging shots into the cage with each others heads. Hardy seemed to have the match won following the “Twist of Hate” but the effects of the match started to wear on him and his normal quickness slowed very much as he climbed the cage. Sting began climbing beside him and the two reached the top of the cage and sat on the top, exchanging blows. Sting slipped off the edge following a right hand by Hardy, but he catches himself and holds on to the top instead of hitting the canvas below. Hardy begins hitting the fingers of Sting who is white-knuckling the top of the cage until Sting gets his footing on the cage which gives him the confidence to take one hand off the top of the cage and pull Hardy's arm sending Hardy crashing hard to the mat. Sting slipped off the cage, too but didn't land nearly as bad nor hard as Hardy did. Sting called for the cage door to be open as he began the crawl toward the door. He glances back toward Jeff Hardy who shoves the camera man out of the cut out on of the panels and begins trying to escape through the hole. Sting stops him and drags him out of the hole, back into the ring and nails the Scorpion Death Drop. Eric Bischoff comes down to the ring as Sting makes his way too the door, Bischoff lays out the official guarding the door and takes the key away from him. He taunts Sting who is obviously angry knowing that he has the match won, but Bischoff wants the World Title in Immortal with Dixie Carter winning the power back earlier in the evening. This gave Hardy time to recover and spun Sting around to attempt to hit the Twist of Hate, but Sting shoves Hardy with such force in sends him face first into the steel cage. Hardy's force sends him back toward Sting who catches him and hits the Scorpion Death Drop again, allowing Sting to begin the climb to the top of the cage. Bischoff opens the cage door and screams at Jeff Hardy to crawl, to which he begins crawling. Sting is on the same side of the cage as the door is and as soon as Hardy gets close, Sting is able to use his leg to kick the door closed on Hardy's face and score the victory! Winner: And Still TNA World Heavyweight Champion.... “The Icon” Sting! After the match, Bischoff opens the cage door back and checks on Jeff Hardy, Sting climbs into the ring and hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Eric Bischoff before celebrating his victory in the ring. The show closes with Sting posed on the turnbuckles holding the World Title in the air as Mike Tenay plugs “The Icon” Sting retains the TNA World Heavyweight Championship and AJ Styles won the #1 Contendership earlier in the evening. |

Lockdown was very well done.
- I enjoyed the AJ/Hogan segment on Impact. And it's good that he did it via the Spiral Tap at Lockdown because Hogan is in no-condition to take the Styles Clash these days. I also enjoyed the pre-match segments, you went the right route with Anderson being in it all for himself and the Hogan line was good.
- Kazarian, Beer Money, Sting retaining was the right move.
- It's good that you have retired the Knockout Tag Titles because those were useless. Mickie finally won the title!
- D-Von losing was expected, maybe you could use him as a road agent in the future.
- I don't think Robbie E should be going over Sabin and others, but I know you're a fan of his. But like I said before, move him to the TV Title division.

Lockdown: Very excited for the PPV. Kazarian retaining his X-Division is good. Hopefully Kaz keeps the momemtum going during his reign. Ray over Devon is the right call. Ray's recent Name & Personality change gave him the advantage. Mickie beating Madison Rayne for the title is awesome. She is know the only diva to win the TNA knockout title, Womens title & Divas title. A see a rematch in the future. Beer Money retaining is the right call. I personnaly dont feel like Ink Inc is ready for the tag titles. I would have liked Immortal go over instead of Team Styles. Carter back in control will probably mean the end of Hulk Hogan & Bishoff. Sting retaining the title is good. Hardy should not be champion again. Lockdown was a good PPV.

-Kazarian deserves a solid reign as champion so him retaining was the best way to go.
-Sucks that Brother Devon must leave TNA as I was rooting for him.
-Mickie James going over here and finally winning the gold is cool. But I hope Rayne wins it back.
-Beer Money Inc going over was the best call. I hope Ink Inc win within the next few months.
-Epic match between Immortal and Team Styles. Good either way whoever so I guess it's the right call.
-A great main event here as well. Sting going over Jeff Hardy is the best way to go.
-Good PPV; the final two matches made this one perfect. Very eventful PPV.

TNA iMPACT: “Who Will Sacrifice What?”

The music of TNA President, Dixie Carter plays as she comes out onto the stage. The fans have a warm response of the president with chants of “Welcome Back!” as she takes a moment to listen to the reaction. She thanks the fans for their warm welcome before stating she has a list of people she needs to thank but there is one person who wants to thank: AJ Styles. She asks AJ to come down to the ring, but gets the resident a-hole instead. Anderson gets into the ring and demands that she make it right between him and TNA by giving him his rematch. Carter went to speak, but Anderson quickly told her to shut her mouth as he wasn't finished. He stated that he's watched everyone get a shot instead of him and now AJ Styles is getting one? This brought out AJ Styles who quickly reminded Anderson that he actually won his title shot by pinning Hulk Hogan at “Lockdown”, but Styles has a resolution. He points out the fact that Anderson and Styles have their issues, so he wants Anderson in the match at “Sacrifice” making a three-way. Carter seemed taken back by the challenge by AJ Styles, giving up his one-on-one title shot, but Anderson refused stating he wanted his one-on-one rematch. Styles told Anderson that was the deal on the table, but if he's not going to accept it, then quit complaining every week. Styles left the ring and Anderson turned toward Styles who was heading up the ramp: “Deal”. Styles turned around to face Anderson from the stage but at the camera angle we can see Sting watching from the rafters as we go to break.

We return from commercial break with AJ Styles being questioned by Christy Hemme why he would give away a one-on-one title shot and make it a triple threat. “I have been in situations like this before, the last world title victory I had back in 2009 was in a fatal-four way match. I'm very confident in my ability to adapt to certain situations. This will be no different”.
Douglas Williams [w/ Magnus] defeated Jeremy Buck [w/ Max Buck]
Our opening contest got underway with Williams taking control slowing down Jeremy Buck for a little while, but Buck was able to use his quickness to his advantage. The ending would come as Buck missed 450 Splash which allowed Williams to hit the “Chaos Theory” for the victory. Williams celebrated the win on the ramp with his partner, Magnus while Max Buck stewed in the ring due to the loss.
Backstage, Dixie Carter is shown rearranging stuff in her office when Sarita and Rosita come in yelling in spanish at Carter. Carter tells them to slow down and explain calmly, to which they do [in english] demanding the Knockout Tag Titles be reinstated as they were on their way to winning the championships. Carter says that she doesn't agree with Eric Bischoff, most of the time but this is a situation to where she actually agrees with him. She puts over Sarita and Rosita as great wrestlers who should be wanting to be the TNA Knockout Champion. Sarita & Rosita are fuming as they leave the locker room, again yelling in spanish.
Eric Young and Orlando Jordan are shown walking down a hallway with Jordan telling Young, not to worry. They enter a room and the door closes behind them, we see a plaque hanging on door: “Couples Therapist”.
Daffney defeated Angelina Love
This was a good Knockouts contest with Daffney making her in-ring return to TNA with good back and forth action. Daffney would pick up the victory with the “Lobotomy” for the victory. After the match, Daffney walked up the ramp making a motion around her waist implying she was coming after Mickie James' Knockout Championship.

The music of Jeff Jarrett is blaring over the PA System when we return from commercial break as he and the lovely Karen Jarrett make their way down to the ring. They are all smiles knowing that the feud with Kurt Angle is over as Jeff Jarrett holds the rope down for Karen to get into the ring. He cuts a promo stating that he hopes Dixie Carter can overlook the problems the two have had in the past and start fresh. He then turns his attention to Kurt Angle and hopes the two can just move on for the children, looking as sincere as possible until Kurt's music starts playing. Angle comes out and asks if Jarrett wants a truce, to which he does and Angle agrees to a truce... after “Sacrifice”. He states he just came from Dixie Carters office who has granted Angle's request for a one-on-one match at “Sacrifice” between Jarrett and Angle. Jarrett looks scared to death as Angle smiles and heads backstage.
A video package airs promoting the “Eliminate The Hate” campaign.
“The Monster” Abyss defeated “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner to retain the TNA World Television Championship
This was an alright match, but nothing to specular with Abyss and Steiner having more of a brawl than a wrestling match. Steiner hit a belly-to-belly suplex on Abyss to the delight of the crowd, but that was one of the more powerful moves of the entire match. Abyss got the win following the “Black Hole Slam” for the victory.
We see the session with Orlando Jordan and Eric Young with the couples therapist. The therapist is trying to get them to understand what makes each other tick. Young says that it's hard to work with someone that is bi-polar, to the confusion of the therapist who attempts to point out that Orlando is bi-sexual, but Young states that sexual matters have nothing to do with being bi-polar. The therapist shakes his head and says they'll need another session, next week.
The cameras have captured Bully Ray talking to someone who hands Ray money. What was that all about?
TNA X-Division Champion, Kazarian defeated Robbie E [w/Cookie] in a non-title action
Another solid match here on iMPACT with back and forth action between the X-Division Champions, but nothing Robbie E did could seemingly slow Kazarian down. Kazarian would pick up the victory following the “Fade to Black” to gain the pin fall. After the match, Kazarian is walking up the ramp when all of a sudden Bully Ray blindsides him with a shot to the back sending Kazarian down. Ray puts some more shots into Kazarian before teasing a “Bully Bomb” off the stage but Beer Money Inc and AJ Styles come out to run him with Beer Money getting a few shots on him before he escapes. Who has sent Bully Ray after the X-Division Champion?

We return from commercial break at ringside with Mike Tenay and Taz who talk about what we have seen tonight. They then plug some stuff from next week: Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff will be in the iMPACT Zone for the first time since Lockdown! Plus, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion, “The Icon” Sting will be in action. They then send it to the ring for our main event of the evening.
Mr. Anderson defeated Rob Van Dam
This was a return match from a few weeks ago, tonight Anderson looked to build a lot of momentum heading into “Sacrifice” and a victory over Van Dam would be huge. Anderson would block most of Van Dam's offensive but wouldn't be able to duck a spin kick from out of nowhere which rocked Anderson. The momentum took a huge turn, when the referee got kicked by Van Dam after Anderson moved out of the way of a kick. Van Dam took charge and nailed a spin kick on Anderson, followed by the “Five Star Frog Splash”. Van Dam shook the official trying to get him to make the count, but when Van Dam turned around he was blindsided by a chair shot from “The Pope” D'Angelo Dinero. Dinero placed Anderson on Van Dam then bailed from the ring. The official made the count, slowly, giving Anderson the victory.Anderson celebrated while Van Dam looked up toward Pope who had a smile on his face.

TNA iMPACT: “Hulkamania Returns...”
April 28th, 2011
Orlando, Florida
We open the show with a look back at last week's iMPACT including D'Angelo Dinero costing Rob Van Dam his match against Mr. Anderson. We also saw a look back at the making of the “Sacrifice” main event between Sting, AJ Styles, and Mr. Anderson.
The music of Rob Van Dam kicks off as the crowd comes alive while he walks to the ring. He gets a microphone and wants D'Angelo Dinero to explain his actions from last week. We wait and finally get the arrival of “The Pope” D'Angelo Dinero who comes down to the ring with a smirk on his face. Pope says he doesn't owe anyone explanation, but Van Dam says he owes everyone an explanation. Dinero declines stating that the reasons should be obvious. Pope turns to leave but Van Dam grabs his arm and spins him around, Pope didn't like this and tackled Van Dam to the mat. The two struggle back and forth until security pulls them apart, getting Van Dam out the ring. Pope yells at Van Dam that you don't touch Pope!
Backstage, Karen Jarrett comes into Dixie Carter's office and pleads with Carter to cancel the match between Jeff Jarrett and Kurt Angle at “Sacrifice”. She wants her to reconsider because Angle has lost his mind, to “think about the children”. While Carter doesn't agree to cancel the match, she agrees to think about it. Karen tells Dixie “just remember what Kurt has put us through!” as she walks out.
Chris Sabin defeated Shannon Moore [w/ Jesse Neal]
This was a solid opening contest between these two normally tag team workers, both holding their own in singles action though. Moore almost put Sabin away with a hurricrana from the top rope but Sabin was able to kick out. Sabin would pick up the victory following the “Cradle Shock” for the pin fall. After the match, Jesse Neal attacked Sabin and hit him with a “Spear” leaving him laying.

“The Monster” Abyss defeated Tommy Dreamer to retain the TNA World Television Championship
This was a squash match, pure and simple. Dreamer wasn't able to get in any offense as Abyss just ran straight through him. Abyss picked up the victory with the “Black Hole Slam” to gain the pin fall. After the match, Abyss left and was talking into the camera as he walked up the ramp, demanding a real challenge.
Backstage, Christy Hemme interviews TNA World Heavyweight Champion, “The Icon” Sting who is preparing for his match tonight against Matt Hardy in the main event. The interview doesn't really talk about the main event tonight, but more about “Sacrifice”. Sting says that next week, he and AJ Styles are going to clear the air on a lot of things and end this.
Max Buck [w/ Jeremy Buck] defeated Magnus [w/ Douglas Williams
This was a solid singles match, but nothing too out there. Magnus had Buck's number on multiple occasions but it was Max Buck who would pick up the victory following a super kick to Magnus. After the match, Generation Me celebrated in the ring while Magnus rolled to the arena floor.
Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are shown walking backstage; Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff speak for the first time since Lockdown... next!

Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff make their way down to ringside, minus Hogan's fancy pyrotechnics. They're obviously getting booed out of the building, and can't even speak loud enough due to the boos. Hogan finally gets to speak up and says that what happened at “Lockdown” was a travesty. He said that everyone in Immortal dropped the ball and they should hang their head in shame! Hogan turned his attention to AJ Styles and promised “one day”, Styles will regret the decision to pin Hogan at “Lockdown”. He turned it over to Eric Bischoff who pointed out all the good things they had done for TNA including signing Rob Van Dam, but nobody appreciates that. He said to get use to their faces because they're going to be here for a very long-long time. This brought out Dixie Carter who seemed amused by Bischoff and Hogan's comments, telling them that they wouldn't have match television time for a good while. She motions for someone to come onto the stage, and introduces Steve... the janitor at the iMPACT Zone then told Bischoff and Hogan, that Steve was their new boss of cleaning toilets as that's the only job they can have in TNA. Hogan screams that Dixie Carter can't do that: “Actually, Hulk... I can as it is my company”. Carter gets the last laugh against Hogan and Bischoff, but what does this mean for the rest of Immortal?!
Madison Rayne defeated Winter
This was a decent contest, but nothing amazing. It was mainly used to put Madison over, and served it's purpose. Mike Tenay and Taz noted on commentary that there would be a Knockouts Battle Royal next week with the winner becoming the new #1 contender for the Knockouts Championship.
A video package airs hyping up “Sacrifice” on pay-per-view.
We go inside the iMPACT Zone where Matt and Jeff Hardy are heading down to the ringside area. They climb into the ring with microphones in hands as they get a mixed reactions. Jeff starts off stating that he and Matt have done everything that a tag team can do in this business, expect one thing which is win the most prestigious tag team championships in the world which are held by Beer Money. He turns it over to Matt Hardy who states that Beer Money Inc., comes out here and claims to be the best tag team in the world yet they haven't beaten the best: The Hardy Boys. This, of course, brings out Beer Money Inc who run down the laundry list of teams who have stepped up to the challenge, and Beer Money knocked right back down. Matt reminded them that they haven't beaten the Hardys, so they couldn't care about their little list. Beer Money Inc and The Hardys have a brief stare-down as security comes into the ring. Security gets in between the two teams not allowing them to touch as we go to commercial.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion, “The Icon” Sting defeated Matt Hardy in a non-title match
This was a good way to close the show with Matt Hardy getting a chance to try to prove he belongs in the main event, but tonight wasn't his night as Sting was able to pick up the victory after Hardy missed a leg drop from the top rope. This allowed Sting to recover and hit the “Scorpion Death Drop” for the victory.
After the match, Mr. Anderson came from under the ring with a lead pipe and went to use it on Sting, but Sting was able to duck the show. The two brawled for a minute until Anderson was able to get his hands on the pipe, but out of nowhere AJ Styles hit the ring and cleaned Anderson out of the ring. Styles picked up the pipe as Sting turned around, it was a very tense moment as the world waited to see if Styles was going to hit Sting with it, but he tosses it to the floor and looks up toward Anderson. Sting then grabbed Styles out of nowhere and nailed the “Scorpion Death Drop”. A odd turn of events tonight, next week... will Styles and Sting clear the air?! We then fade to black with Sting standing over Styles looking up at Mr. Anderson who is on the stage.

Good opening promo, Pope and RVD could put on an entertaining feud. Didn't know you had Ink Inc as heels, so that's cool. Glad Sabin won though. Television title was always a joke, so I hope you can get some good matches going for it, keep people interested. Not too sure about another single match of tag team competitors. Either person winning would've been fine on me, though. Hogan and Bischoff as janitors, hah. Rayne over Winter without any stuff from The Beautiful People or Tara is odd. Hardy's vs. Beer Money could be really entertaining. Sting winning was obvious, but I liked the post match stuff. Really hyped next weeks Sting/Styles showdown. Overall good show.

Quick Lockdown thoughts: Seemed like a really standard show. You need to just kill off Immortal ASAP. IF you were to have them win Lethal Lockdown to get some kind of momentum, then you could have dragged it out, but they are so weak now its not even funny. I hope that Bully Ray gets a huge heel push, because it would be different from most TNA diaries and because the dude deserves a huge singles push, the man is great.
Anderson/Styles/Sting should be okay at best. I would like to see Anderson win the strap and get a good run with it. Jarrett/Angle should be fine, but the writing for segment was really uneventful. I think some work needs to be put into those. I would have loved to see Anderson get a clean win, and be able to brag about that fact. Too bad that didn’t happen. I guess a RVD/Pope feud could be entertaining. Seemed like a bland show for 4/21. The OJ/Young stuff was mildly entertaining, though.
So, will we find out what the point of a Pope/RVD feud is? I really hope this isn’t a feud, just to get them involved with a pay per view. The matches are really uninteresting to me. I’m not sure if there is a point to any of the matches. The way you describe them, makes them feel worthless. The Hogan/Dixie/Bischoff segment could have been good, if you went indepth about it. I guess you might be teasing a Hogan/Styles match, most likely at BFG, and I can see that being for the world title. I actually liked the Hardy Boys putting over the TNA tag titles that big. I think those two teams could have entertaining bouts. A fine ending to the show to hype up the Sacrifice main event.
