"This fall, man - [it's] very tough - um, in this fall I'm going to take my talents to South Beach and join the Miami Heat." - LeBron James, Cavaliers #1 Overall Draft Pick (2003); July 9, 2010.
Following the critical decision of LeBron James leaving the team he had assisted into making the playoffs multiple times and even reaching the finals in 2007 - but failing to win a ring - the whole NBA world shook. Especially in Cleveland. Coming off a 61-21 season Cleveland couldn't of only relied on LeBron, right? Looking back into the 2010-2011 season, that may be false as the team fell drastically.
A twenty-six game losing streak rained over the team during the season. Although an attempt to try and aid the team by trading their star point guard, Mo Williams, with Jamario Moon to the Los Angeles Clippers for Baron Davis, the team finished at a humiliating NBA worst 18-64 (Projected finish). Following the season, shooting guard Anthony Parker announced retirement from the NBA. As well, Daniel Gibson chose not to resign with Cleveland and went into free agency. When it came time for the draft, Cleveland was blessed with the #1 overall pick. Selected almost immediately was Arizona star small forward, Derrick Williams. In what was viewed by the public as an "enraged decision", Williams was given the number he wore at Arizona - as well worn by LeBron James - #23. During free agency, Cleveland signed guard Marcus Thornton to a two year deal, taking over the spot Anthony Parker had left. On day 21 of 23 in the free agency market, the team took place in a three-way trade with Orlando and Charlotte. Cleveland got themselves J.J. Redick and Ryan Anderson from Orlando as they shipped J.J. Hickson to Charlotte and Boris Diaw of Charlotte traveled to Orlando. Coach Byron Scott spoke on October 26, 2011 - a day before the season opener - stating, "We're ready."

just for the hell of it... the cavs also have the clippers first round pick in the draft, if you wanted to add another rookie to your team and what not.

I truly am not a fan of the Cleveland Cavaliers, but I like Byron Scott. I also like the moves you've made so far. Letting Gibson leave was great and adding Thornton, Reddick and Anderson was fantastic. They all bring something good to the table. Good luck on this bro.
