I've always felt that WM15 and Survivor Series '98 are two of the best examples of a Russo-booked show. I don't mean that in a bad way. I think if you're a fan of the entertainment side of things, then these are great shows to watch. Especially since they have a lot of single-episode story arcs that progress and culminate all within one night, which is rare. I could see why those who favor wrestling over entertainment wouldn't be thrilled with them. As for me? I loved these two shows as a kid, and I do think back fondly on them in a nostalgic way. But I just don't consider WM15 to be up to par with other WMs that came after it. It just lacked that big night feel and didn't feel that different from any other Attitude Era PPV. I liked SS98:Deadly Games too......I was fuming when Shane turned on Austin

I just didn't like the usage of Mankind. Him and the Rock had been tearing down the house for months. Then he just gets thrown into a throw away match against Big Show.

Vince Russo shouldn't get the credit, he threw 6 tons of poop at the wall and whatever Vince thought was a good idea actually made it to air. We all see what happens with Vince Russo when Vince Mcmahon isn't there to check him in line. Did Russo help? Yes but I'm sure WWF would have came out on top eventually even without him. The genius behind the "Attitude" era was never Vince Russo, it was Vince Mcmahon, anyone who says differently is wrong. Russo had to do something right for 's sake or he wouldn't have remained with the company for so long or have been hired after that. Vince's direction helped without a doubt, but be real here: Vince never was able to push his product to the level it was at until Russo was brought in. As I said, you can hate on the guy for all the bad he brought in but he did contribute significantly to the Attitude Era. If Russo wasn't partially responsible, why didn't Vince start that movement the Attitude Era created years earlier when he had the same stars (if not bigger) to work with? I just didn't like the usage of Mankind. Him and the Rock had been tearing down the house for months. Then he just gets thrown into a throw away match against Big Show. It got to a point where there was really nothing else they could do with the feud. They wanted to still keep Mankind in the main event picture without totally separating him from his feud with the Corporation.

of course.
Russo had tons of ideas that McMahon rejected but plenty more that he liked.he was a MASSIVE part of WWFs winning ways from 97 onwards

I hate it when there is something people don't like, and go immediately after Russo. It just gets old.
