So I've noticed that RSC is changing prices for new stuff. The E8 set was $100 and now, due to back order, it's $80. E9 Zack and Miz price has changed to $17 and $18. And now, the 2P 10 Justin/Young was $30 and now $35. Even worst, the Ottunga/Tarver set is $40! What's up with that?

RSC gets figures before others anyways, so the price to do so will be higher, but of course you get it sooner than anywhere else and great customer service to boot.

I'll keep this one short, as I usually end up going for paragraphs in threads like this.
Ringside Collectables is a business. That's it.
I understand some people's concerns with the prices, but you do realize that you are: A. Getting the figure shipped directly to you, thus eliminating any searching, driving, calling, or anything like that. B. Getting the figure sometimes entire months before they hit the masses. C. Getting additional services and guarentees that don't always come with a retail purchase.
To me, as a consumer that is able to both buy online and in stores, if a product is something that I want RIGHT NOW, then I'll pay the price.
In short, and I'm sure RSC will explain this in a more politically correct way, but beggers can't be choosers.

If not a lot of people buy it the prices will go down so some people are paying $40 Ottunga/Tarver set.

If not a lot of people buy it the prices will go down so some people are paying $40 Ottunga/Tarver set. Pretty much. It's also hard to fault them for the prices of a brand new set. No one complained about the starting price of a Xbox 360 or PS3 when they came out because the product was so new, they expected the hefty price tag. New things, especially things coming out for the first time, will always be: 1. Hard to find 2. Possibly expensive.

No one is stopping you from waiting months after RSC gets them to search for them in stores for a cheaper price.

The higher the demand, the higher the price, it's simple. Heck, I don't even get figures in stores now, it's just RSC for me. To me there is no point in waiting an extra couple of months for a possibility that a new figure is in stores.

I just look there to see if a price convinces me. I'm not saying, ''Man! I am not going to order these cause of their prices!''. Think, man. Think.

Well, Elite 8 went from $100 - $80 because their first shimpent is sent overnight from Mattel so they charge more to cover the overnight cost. They are now $80, because that's going to be from their second shipment which will not be overnighted from Mattel so they charge less.

Somy Ryder figure cost me 2 dollars more than every else??? OH NO!!! Lol I noticed this, as well, but, as far as I'm concerned, I'm getting the figure alot earlier than everyone else, for just 2 dollars more. Plus, the coupon code took off more for me than it would for someone ordering it now, so I think the prices for Elite 9 are VERY fair. I was SHOCKED to see Elite Ryder for the same price as his Basic figure as soon as it was listed!! I immediately cancelled my Basic order, and I ordered Elite Ryder. I'll test the retail waters to find his Basic figure. All in all, I think the prices are pretty good. The one thing that gets you is shipping. The WWE uses Smart Post, so they're able to charge just 4.99 shipping for one figure. I don't see why RSC doesn't try to use Smart Post as another shipping option.

The price of something, is how much the highest bidder is willing to pay for it... Sadly there are some people with more money than sense.

The WFIGS code is the same thing. 10% off. 80+15 for shipping is 95. With the code, it takes off 8 so final price is 86.99. At retail, for the 5, it's 75 plus maybe 5 for tax, 80 all together. Less at retail.

RSC also has to make up for shelf warmers. If they receive 5 cases of B9, that's only 5 Natalya figures. That's why she is $30. MOST of the time RSC is valid and fair with their prices. Plus, they are a business. They want to MAKE money lol.
I order a lot from them. Pre ordering is the best. You get figures 6-8 weeks before you can even start to hunt for them.

Oh wait, you can't even get these figures at retail yet, so what is the big deal? Its a great deal! Even if based on Walmart pricing you're essentially only paying $7 shipping for 5 figures, that's not bad.

Some prices are high but if I really wanted a figure enough and knew it would be a bitch to find I would pay it. So make my Mattel Lita and you will get me to order something again RSC.
