Incase you didn't hear, tonight the moon comes closer to the earth tonight due to it's orbit and it will look 14% larger. I think you can only see it in North America though.

Assuming you saw it since you said its pretty. Did you notice you couldn't really see details because it's really bright?

got about a 10 second view as there was a break in the clouds as they were moving by.... it's bright,REALLY bright....but didn't seem any bigger to me than usual....

Assuming you saw it since you said its pretty. Did you notice you couldn't really see details because it's really bright? Now your right...excuse myself for enjoying the glow and the color of the moon instead of analyzing it as a scientist would. I also didn't take pictures does that make it improbable that I enjoyed a moment of something ineffable. So I chose the simplest words to describe something I found beauty in. Please do not assume simple statements of admiration are based on ignorance.....

got a couple pics from my upstairs window... again,bright,but not like earth-shatteringly huge like i was told it would be....in fact,it looked bigger in the west YESTERDAY morning on my way to work....
