If WWF ( World Wrestling Federation ) got sued by the Wild Life Fun thing. But WWF had it first, but stuff is said that the Wild Life let World Wrestling Federation share it. Then how could they get sued if Vince owned it first since WWF was there first?

The company itself of WWE has been around longer than the World Wildlife Fund, but the latter's use of the "WWF" initials predates the WWE's use. World Wildlife Fund was founded under said name in 1961. WWE has been around since 1952, but started using the World Wrestling Federation name in 1979. Apparently the latter sued the former over an alleged violation under a 1994 agreement regarding international use of the initials.

Yea it is really stupid, it just shows how the Wild Life thing is. They should have let World Wrestling Federation keep the ""WWF"". But it just made WWE alot more popular. I was wondering back then why they had the " Get the "F" out " but now I know.

I dont understand why they have to bleep out old footage where someone says "WWF" I understand the lawsuit, but the old footage shouldnt be edited.

I like how the fake WWF think that people would get them confused with pro wrestling. Maybe if they promoted the tiger over that stupid panda bear we might get somewhere. Seriously. They shove the panda down our throats like it's Hulk Hogan. Which will never work because Hulk Hogan beat the panda that Rumble in the Jungle '89, he buried that thing so deep no body will ever forget it. Why not push tiger? Hell even leopard earned it spot(s) over that stupid panda.

What I heard they changed WWF to WWE to let people know it was just Entertainment, not real life.

I hate the lawsuit and I hate calling it "WWE". It still sounds so stupid to me. And saying "The World Wrestling Federation" sounds much cooler than "World Wrestling Entertainment". WWE name is so Gay.

I like WWF alot better also. But if they did have it WWEF it would have sounded too long and maybe still gotten sued... Who knows... Maybe if they just kept Vince Mcmahon's SR's WWWF ( World Wide Wrestling Federation )
