You say thousands and possibly millions? You're being generous with regards to TNA's audience. *VERY* generous. How so? TNA gets 1.5-1.9 million viewers per week, more via DVR. ---- Regardless, Hogan has apologized and it never made air. So, the only people who heard the comment were the 1,200 in the iMPACT Zone. Tasteless comment? Sure, but it won't ever make air. That is pretty much all I'm trying to say here.

Yeah, I'm not sure why people are jumping all over you. I think we're pretty much in agreement that it was a tasteless comment that shouldn't have ever been said.

Just a stupid comment made by a sometimes stupid man. Hell, JBL did the goosestep in Germany, but people got over it. They will with this too. Plus he apologized in a non-sarcastic way, which more or less ends the whole situation. Had he apologized with "I was caught in a wave of emotion that quaked me to the core, so I apoloze".....then I could see being pissed.

Of course it was the bad thing to say at the wrong time, but at least he took responsibility and apologized. I don't think he meant it with any ill intention, any more than the Hurricane means no disrespect to Hurricane victims with his wrestling name. How about wrestlers like Earthquake? Typhoon?

I bet if someone like Undertaker, Tripe H or Cena said this at a house show or a taping that people wouldn't go on like this. Typical TNA bashers.

I loved wcw but when hogan first came to wcw things changed so much. yea they might have got better ratings. everyone had to stop to kiss hogans butt and start promoting him and all his fueds. his idiot friends ruined wcw with the nwo and all they did now he is doing this to tna also. I loved tna and it was so exciting to watch all the matches. they had a great thing going and I could not wait to watch tna. now hogan came it and it is like the wwe because there are only a few guys you like to watch now......the knockouts put on the best show and not because they are is not the only reason they wrestle.

And then people wonder why WWEs promos are so heavily scripted? ...Granted not everyone has the same foot in mouth problem that Hogan seems to have, but WWE doesnt need the headaches from the PC brigade ..some people are just not good at ad libbing especially in such a PC world.Seems whatever you say youre bound to piss off someone nowadays...Personally I could give a rats ass...people need to get over it

I remember on WWE when Cena still was deep into his rapper gimmick, he said something like "John Cena's more American than silicon strippers. Leaving cats dead in their tracks from heart attacks, like John Ritter." only a few days after Ritter died.
Sure, the Japan situation is 1 million times worse...

Wow, it's hard to imagine squeaky-clean Cena being so incredibly tasteless. Hogan made the comment after the fact, Cena just faced a terrible coincidence. Either way, not a big deal. I like to hate on TNA more than anyone, Hogan made a general comment that considering circumstances isn't the best. Had he used hurricane instead, no one would really care. It's not like he said "Immortal is a tsunami coming to overtake the fishing town that is TNA wrestling and leave behind 10s of thousands dead in our tracks and destroying a nuclear plant!" Was it a bit of bad timing? Sure. But so is are lot of things Hulk Hogan does, who cares at this point?

Wow, it's hard to imagine squeaky-clean Cena being so incredibly tasteless. bad boy white rapper, that fits the gimmick for example "Sonny Bono, skis horses and hittin some trees " "Cause when I smoke out I hit the trees harder than Sonny Bono (oh no!)" "Hey, it's me, Versace! / Whoops, somebody shot me! / And I was just checking the mail / Get it? Checking the 'male'?"" Eminem lyrics, not saying its tasteful or appropriate but i can see how it was passible for Cena.

Tsunami: Comes quickly, s up everything, and leaves citizens with years of grief and terror. Sounds like Hogan to me. At least he didn't destroy half of Japan..yet.
