remember when on the first SD, HBK was the guest ref between Rock and HHH, and he Sweet Chinned Rock, wasn't that supposed to lead to a Rock/HBK feud?

Um at this point HBK was retired and probably wouldn't have been in a wrestling role if they did fued some how. I think HBK was going to come back but not in a wrestling Role and they were going to have DX come back with HHH and HBK and Steph but something happened and it never was to be. I think that is what was suspose to happen.

It was supposed to happen, but on the next week at RAW, HBK arrived drunk, and so was sent home, and wasn't asked back until JD2000

I think HBK got in some trouble backstage which lead to him not being used for a long time..
And again, he couldn't wrestle Rock anyway but it would have been cool. HBK in the corner for the Game.

Also, I remember Rock saying in an interview he never wanted to work with Michaels because of the whole Bret Hart situation.

I knew it wasn't the Montreal situation but I wasn't 100% sure if it was how he was treated by Michaels backstage. Thanks for clearin' that up. |
