What do ya'll think, I think it looks like a pretty good indie film, but i'm a sucker for "found footage" films

Blair Witch Project/Paranormal Activity anyone? ;D You're probably only joking but I've never really understood that argument. No one gives Friday the 13th grief for being the same style as Halloween. I'm really bad with horror films, most scare me pretty bad. This looks like it'd give me a few scares.

They are made similar, both fake, both trying to make their films " scary " and seem real, I don't really get why people enjoy them tbh.. Movies like Halloween, etc, those are classics, these are just... I don't even know. If they would have gone out and actually tried capturing some of the stuff instead of just faking it, I think it would be more exciting.

Looks very interesting, it's like Ghost Adventures the Movie. I wish they didn't show the part with the really scary face, it would have scared the sh*t out of me in the theater but now I'll be expecting it. Still can't wait to see it though.

They may change it, like PA2 when Katie was standing in the doorway in the trailer but it never happened in the film, but this is an indie film so, theyll probably keep this in

I swear by BWP and I will defend it to the grave. It's one of my favorite movies of all time, it's one of the scariest movies of all time and I am anxiously awaiting (hoping for) the day I get to see it in the theater again.
That having been said, none of the 'found footage' movies have had any sort of profound effect on me since due to the constant peppering in of Hollywood bullsh*t. Paranormal Activity, this movie, they all have "jump" moments that they don't need, or could at least use with a different type of buildup.
Also, the improv actors they've hired don't hold a candle to what those in BWP could do. The reason that movie was and will always be so convincing is because those were as close an actor could get to REAL PEOPLE. Those three don't get near the amount of credit that they should.
Paranormal Activity was nothing more to me than an hour and a half version of one of those "stare at the screen REAL close" youtube videos. This looks pretty similar. But, at the end of the day I'd rather people were going to see this type of thing on Halloween than Saw.
These movies all have potential but until people strike for uneasy feelings instead of cheap scares, they're never going to be that great.
