if we aren't getting masked cm punk because it is "outdated", does that mean we won't get an elite Nexus Barrett because it may be "outdated" as well? Because I would love an Elite Nexus Barrett figure...

Possibly not, more than likely would have to do an arm swap with his basic in order to get the Nexus arm band. The Nexus shirt would probably be the one issue of not getting the figure. I would expect an Elite Barrett to come with a Corre shirt at this point to be honest.

looking at the elite line, it could be a hit or miss.
for example the elite Zack Ryder coming in series 9 is based on his look from late 2009 - early 2010 in his WWECW days, but the basic Zack Ryder from series 10 is based around June 2010 (during NXT 2)

I don't need an Elite Barrett. I'm really happy with the Basic 10 Barrett. But I miss the elbow pads.

I'd actually prefer his first Elite figure to look like this over a Nexus Barrett  However, and Elite Wade with a trench coat and Nexus gear would be really awesome. |

I'd be willing to say for Accessories of an Elite Barrett, a removable Nexus Shirt and Arm Band would be included. That way we have a Nexus Barrett, and an updated one in the same figure.
If Mattell can make all kinds of sweet entrance gear, I'm sure they can make a removable arm band with a N on it.

The only difference between a regular Barrett and a Nexus Barrett is the armband.

I want the SES Punk as bad as everyone else, but I really wish you guys would just wait for an answer instead of bringing it up in every thread. I'd rather elite barrett come with the corre shirt and his new trunk design with the thorn design like orton's. The set he wore at EC.

That would make the figure a cluster  of different times during the same year. Punk didn't debut IN RING with the tattoo until Summerslam, in which he was unmasked a month prior. Now, to be fair, the addition of the arm sling on that figure also messed up the timing, since Punk wasn't wrestling when his arm was in the sling, and certainly wasn't wearing ring gear. Now if you meant "Maybe they aren't releasing the figure now, so they can add the chest tattoo as well as update headscan" then I'm right there with you. |
