I did notice stuff like this before and had pointed it out to management. After went back to the floor. They just didn't care. Your forget K-Mart is now on it's last leg and 90% of the employees no longer care. Kmart was doing just fine when i worked there, they had enough money to buy Sears so they are just fine. i agree with you that 90% of employees just don't care but that goes for most retail. Well rewind to 5 or 6 years ago here and K-Mart was doing great. Opening stores and expanding stores. Now since Wal-Marts have moved in close to a few of them. They have pay freezes, been operating in the red for a while, low inventory, non competitive prices, and bad employee morale. There was 7 K-Mart stores in the area. 3 Wal-Marts were put in. Now 6 of those 7 stores are out of business and the last one open is getting ready to go out.

I hate to be a d**k head on a wrestling board but both links state K-mart bought Sears, as I had thought. Kmart kept the Sears name because it is well known. That's why the combined company is called Sears Holdings. BTW, Kmart bought Sears by selling their real estate and properties, not because they are well run. Back to wrestling figures. I went to Kmart today for a $10 Terry Funk, not one register was open at 9 am. I had to wait behind people returning and purchasing items at the service desk while other employees were wandering aimlessly through the store.

I originally read it as a merger with the Sears parent company taking over, rather than Kmart forming a new parent company under the Sears name which is what really happened. Either way, the company is in bad shape.

WOW! That is like opening a pack of trading cards, and not liking them. Then just taping them back up and returning them! That's wild.

It's not like they would know. Only wrestling figure fans would know, and quite frankly, most aren't over the age of 17 anyway. You cant call them stupid for not knowing who Dolph Ziggler is. Besides, thats not the issue. The issue is WHY return that awesome Undertaker? I really wish I had that figure, much more than that crappy Ziggler. Whoever did this lost on the deal. Big mistake. Honestly, somebody will buy that, and make out on the deal since the EG Taker was 22 bucks to start. I would actually buy that despite the lack of coat and hat.

Yeah, why return the Taker? when you could return .....say a WCW Mongo, or some awful TTL X-PAC. Or perhaps buy a RSR ring and return it full of used underwear and cans of soup.

True, why not return like an older figure that nobody wants. That is a good Undertaker.
