Found this (I didn't buy it, just took a pic of oit) & couldn't believe how stupid Toys R Us is to take this back as a return. The whole side was scotched taped together & that's clearly The Undertaker, not Dolph Ziggler lol

This belongs in the mattel section but WTF? Why would someone even swap a classic series undertaker with a dolph ziggler? (btw I dont pay attention to mattel so im not sure if Taker is a custom or not.)

Wait, didn't you post this the other day in the right board? Unless someone else lives in that same area.

Ever stop to think of 2 things as of why it was allowed to be returned.
1. The person that took the return isn't a wrestling fan and didn't know that's not Ziggler. 2. The package was probably returned to the store tore open, and someone at the store tapped it up so it could be put back on the sales floor?

When I worked retail back in the day, we never scotch taped returns back together not to mention we didn't take back opened products

I worked at Target and K-Mart both and open items at Target was stapled shut and put back out, and at K-Mart it was stapled or taped shut.

pffft when i was working at KB toys, my manager would always tape back up toys that was open by kids. this one time, i re-sealed a power ranger toy. but the damn tape didnt work, so i used a stapler! anyway lets say it was a toy swap what a bad trade.......being that Taker goes for like $22 and a simple basic is like what $10! well i guest the idiot got what he deserves, he burnt himself!!!

I did notice stuff like this before and had pointed it out to management. After went back to the floor. They just didn't care. Your forget K-Mart is now on it's last leg and 90% of the employees no longer care.

Kmart was doing just fine when i worked there, they had enough money to buy Sears so they are just fine. i agree with you that 90% of employees just don't care but that goes for most retail.

This is great stuff. I might see what happens with a couple Jakks figures in the Randy/Ted/Cody package and see what I am able to get in return. Just joking.
